The Scariest Puncher Since Tyson - Artur Beterbiev

  • The only current world champion who has finished all his fights by knockout, Artur Beterbiev, stands out not only for his evident punching power but also for his cold-blooded poise, diamond-hard chin, and humility. Moreover, the thirty-nine-year-old light heavyweight continues to improve and is just one step away from the undisputed championship. It's time to appreciate the clinical work of a natural knockout artist responsible for dozens of explosive concussions.

Don't forget he is a devout muslim, and in Islam boxing as a profession is pretty much forbidden (because of head injuries). So that's the main reason why he doesn't like to "hurt" his opponents although he wants to complete his career before retiring. Same story with other muslim caucasian combat artists like Khabib who said he preferred a submission win over a tko/ko because it is safer for his opponent.

I remember one fight where he hit his opponent one too many times as the guy was going down before the ref could step in. The look on his face showed how angry and disappointed he was with himself. You could visibly see him trying to pull his punch before it landed.
