Nice. What a nostalgic trip for both you guys who own the Duchess, and we at home. This was the car that all who could afford cars used in India during the 1950s and 60s. Our family practitioner had a black Morris Minor and that was probably the first real car that I saw as a child in 1950s. Thank you. Your videos are well made and your explanation often (not here though!) are very simple and well presented. Den här sidan har blivit min ny favorit kanal. Tack!
@@Veterandoktorn Thank you. As you know India was the old colony of the British Raj and all old things British, good or bad ended up in India. British cars, British industry, British mannerism, British red tape, British education you name it all got dumped in to India. We had never heard of Volvo or SAAB or any other European car manufacturers but BMC, Austin, Leyland, Triumph etc and even the damn Lucas were well known names in India then. Now I know why they needed to colonize. Who was going to buy their products if not the colonies?
Thanks alot! I bought it from a Danish site www.classic-center.dk/pl/Bilm%C3%A6rker-Morris-Minor_143485.aspx There are also a few British sites that have a broad selection of spares
Excellent video ! Great teamwork. Thanks a lot. Colin UK 🇬🇧
Glad you liked it!
