JJ is jealous of Kie and Pope, because he likes Kiara. However, he’s someone who wants the best for his friends and he doesn’t think that he, himself deserves her or has a chance with her. So, JJ is helping out their relationship because he thinks Pope does deserve her.

I really think jj was jealous, over who is up to interpretation. I personally think he likes kie and was jealous but still put pope and kie together because he values his friends happiness more than his own.

I think kiara was dealing with jon b and Sarah's death in her own at the beginning of season 2. Like if you notice her personality is different than it was in the 1st season. She's always like the mom or the big sister in the group holding them together and keeping them in check. But in season two jj, pope, and Ki all dealed with their death differently. Jj went to work, Pope studied for school, and kiara gets high and trys to forget everything. I think that's why she asked Pope if he wanted to hook up because she wanted to forget about everything and do something crazy. Same reason she called him boring when he said he didn't want to smoke. Shes off because of how everything ended in season 1. And it also seems like she's disobeying her parents more often. So she's being weird but I think shes just starting to calm down.

i think kie called pope boring because he's not the kind of boyfriend she wants, he's only her type when he smokes because he gets spontaneous and free, and that's what kie wants as a boyfriend ( someone like JJ just saying hahaha) but she's afraid to end it all and end their friendship, which the pope already showed he would do because he got mad at her when she didn't want him from the first season.
but in s1 she said she didn’t want them then continued to act like she liked him in s2 hooked up with him etc making him think she liked them jus for her to do the same thing and tell him she wants to be friends she was playing w his feelings he doesn’t deserve that THANK GOD HE MOVED ON & HAS CLEO NOW THEY JUS MAKE SENSE TG

They only started Euphoria like 2 months ago and Already finished season one and two. A show you are already reacting to should be a priority over ones you haven't even started yet..
