I believe the plaintiff did threaten the defendant by calling DFCS. The plaintiff was aware of who the defendant's children were. She tried to act like she didn't know.
    Edit: 030423
The defendant admitted that she did damage to the plaintiffs vehicle. The plaintiff took the case to court and won! There are serious incidents that need to be reported about abused/neglected children. This was not one of them. That's why JM asked the defendant to outline her children's routine. Making a false report would've only done harm to the mother and children.

Let's commend both of these women for taking accountability of their actions and resolving it the right way by coming to court instead of fighting in the streets and risk losing everything including their children. I find that very hard to believe. It's actually an officer safety issue to remain in your patrol car while talking to or interacting with the public. If the civilian pulls a gun out on you, you're a sitting duck in your vehicle, so many police departments teach their officers to hop out of their cars as soon as someone starts to approach for an interaction.
I've had an officer not cite the person who, while speeding down a residential street with no insurance, totalled my parked car while speeding down the street and hitting my exwife's car. Yet they wrote me a warning citation for being parked in front of my own mailbox.

Since these women are neighbors and mothers, I hope they can recognize that they have similar struggles and not let this turn into an enmity. The defendant was definitely wrong as two left shoes, but the plaintiff handled it incorrectly when threatening to involve CPS. Hopefully, they BOTH recognize where they were wrong and try to make amends. Based on their ending conversation, it seems like that's what they're doing. (Especially since JM is going to pay for the damages) That would be a good example for their children and community.

My God this case broke my heart. The defendant just had me in tears and I almost never cry. I believe her, everything she said. She was believable. She was so hurt. My goodness she got me. I honestly would help her with no strings attatched. Just want to help her. I believe her, She doing the best she can, she really down on her luck. We all get or have been in her situation before. The plaintiff was kind, she meant no harm she just wanted her truck fix. Yeah she said she would call the authorities on the defendant but she again wanted her truck fix, that was the objective. She was just selling wolf tickets. After she got that money for her truck her love came out. She even said " I was not going to call DCFF on you." I Love these 2 sisters for their respect for one another, They were not on here calling one another the B word and doing a lot of fussing and cussing.

It look like the defendant was about to get turnt into the victim. Even if the plaintiff did threaten the defendant about her kids. The defendant admitted she already had issues with children's services. The plaintiff most likely saw the obvious. But didn't care to get involved. That's until she turnt her car into scrap metal & took tf off. Get that money by any means necessary 😁

It really bothers me when I hear folks seek sympathy about a dysfunctional spousal relationship. Then the next line they say they miraculously found a new lover who is 10x better and jumped into a relationship. It’s unhealthy af especially dragging kids along with you from person to person. Heal yourself first. You will attract better.
