Hey i'm planning to go there soon during this month (December) to take some night shots of the stars and hopefully this amazing bioluminescence. Do you know if this phenomenon is visible at this time of the year? Does some special conditions have to occur for it to be visible? And do you know which time is the best to observe this?
Anh NGUYEN VAN ive seen it as a child at st osyth. usually if the waters calm and theres no break or waves on the beach it does'nt happen . i can'nt give a scientific explananation. if it's been a sunny day ,it helps but as kids we'd sit in the surf and be patient and witness the amasing life changing experience . it feels like tiny jellyfish but they glowed luminous yellow as opposed to blue. we'd capture them in jars or our shoe's. but the only problem was, sometimes they were there, sometimes they wer'nt. sorry i dont have more info but i truly hope you experience this. good luck. happy searching. hope you get to see them. trudy ellis , colchester, essex. trudyellis1965 @gmail.com x x
