Fun fact, in Reukra's team, he has a Pokemon to resist every single type. Issue is, a majority of those are from Delta Haxorus alone. If the resistances were more spread out, he very well may have developed the perfect team. Not that his current one is anything to scoff at.
I suppose that is a bit of irony though. He DOES have coverage for everything, but he has failed to realize how to utilize that coverage.

I don't know what surprised me more: The battle itself, or the miracle that I somehow managed to win.
Delta Charizard (Mega), Tyranitar (Armor), Mew, Delta Gallade, Excadrill and Protean Greninja. One of the main combos was for Mew to use Barrier and Calm Mind to set up and Baton Pass off to D-Charizard or Greninja, or send in Excadrill right after Tyranitar to take advantage of the Sandstorm. I also had Gallade running Livewire, which helped a ton.
Delta Charizard, Delta Gardevior, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Delta Muk, and Lucario. I simply just used 6 rare candies on Typhlosion to pass Shadow Hellspawn Irritation Thing (SHIT for short). Despite having all of Reukra's at higher levels, he was still pretty sweepable until I hit his armored delta, in which I just spammed Thunderbolt and Revives.
The team I'm using is D-Charizard ( MEGA ), D-Scizor, Electivire, Skuntank, Snorlax, and Typhlosion. But I'm gonna make some changes
I'm gonna run Livewire on Electivire because it's fuckin godly
I'm gonna get rid of Skuntank for a water type, maybe Blastoise or Empoleon
Tbh I’m not sure how I managed to beat Reukra on my first try, with the fact that I was pretty much always 10 levels underleveled the entire game. My team was:
Mega Delta Charizard
Delta Muk (leftovers)
Lilligant (Miracle Seed)
Azumarill (Sea Incense)
Mew (leftovers)
Mega Delta Gardevoir
My game was on normal
Delta and normal Charizard,Greninja,Serperior,Fearaligator,Delta Bisharp

It feels like for me High Jump Kick is less accurate than Fissure. I had it on my Blaziken in my first ORAS playthough, and missed twice on a Whismur, killing my Blaziken. Pokemon gives me so much bullshit.

I spent, like, 3 agonizing hours dealing with the E4 for the no-fainting challenge the guy in the Pokemon League lobby gives you. I dealt with everyone pretty easily via saving and resetting - except for the 'switching person', to avoid spoiling. It's that one person who doesn't share a theme with the other 3.
Then I got to the champion, and did not expect them to be who they were at all. Not only did they put up a hard fight, they had an amazing team that encompassed the game as a whole. And the cherry on the cake was the theme that played in their room (the Title screen theme; you start the game with it, and you finish the game with it), and THIS THEME. Holy shit.
I can't express how awesome of an experience this game has been for me. Currently going through the post-game. But kudos to Suzerain and the team for all the hard work they put into this. Thankyou for the feels and memories (both good and bad :D) I've gotten from this game!
Nedread Really? I had the easiest time ever with the Baton Passer. Her team is so incredibly susceptible to Taunt.
DeltaRenegade guess that explains why. I brute forced/stat boosted then brute forced everyone (except for Baton Passer, of course) and did fine. I'm not a tactful trainer :P

A Red Gardevoir, according to the wiki. The only one available in the game. So, make of that what you will.

Shadow tag is an ability, spell tag is an item that boosts ghost moves, for example.
Blazekin w/ a few lucky High-Junp-Kicks can literally sweep his entire team. Lost my sides as this happened first time after all the monologue

This theme is absolutely perfect and likely one of the reasons i remember the game so well. The build up at the beginning is amazing along with the "drop" at 0:35 catching you off guard with how hard it goes....It is so memorable and it got me so into the fight and the moment, i WAS fighting the champion and this theme was pulling me in to do it!
When you hear this theme you just know that you're going to have a bad time.
Hawlucha was undoubtedly my strongest player against this guy, one-shotting half of his team singlehandedly. I was actually quite surprised that he had no other option against Fighting types beyond Mewtwo.

There's one thing about this song that makes it better and it's the context. While Blue, Red or Cynthia (specially Cynthia) are good challenges, Insurgence level of difficult is insanely higher compared to the Pokémon standard (for obvious reasons). When you fight against the Champion, being a veteran player, you feel like you can still lose. And that's what makes this song so powerful.

I think gamefreak did a good job on all of their champion themes, but that doesn't discredit on how good this champion theme is

That theme is sick. It was the first time doing a champion's battle that was rather frustrating was not boring me. I may be crying over these two but man, that battle has such a champion's fight feeling !
I made the mistake of training only ONE of my pokemon to lvl 120 before this. EDIT: By "this" I mean the league.
Aether Enforcer Eclipse I didn't have any 120 Pokemon and I won...
ViperBite Productions thats because the leagues level depends on your highest level Pokemon, so if you have a level 120 Pokemon, the entire league has a similar level to that. The lowest it goes on normal is level 81
Evan Owenz late, but it's actually 88. On hard, it's 97~ with the level cap being 99.

Solo run with Mienshao on Hard mode. 13 minutes, no resets or blackouts. Everyone in the league has a severe weakness to Bug, Ice and Fighting. Only issues were Eduard's Rotom-W, London's Delta Golurk and Kayla's Sylveon. (Reuniclus missed Psyshock THRICE IN A ROW)
My mega beedrill rocked the league's ass precisely because i took advantage of those weak to bug types. Literally a free fell stinger KO.
With the right setup and plays, this whole game kinda gets soloed by Heracross.
This theme is electronic and encapsulates someone who has mastered power and is confident that there power is at the top percentage and no one will strike them down. that is what i'm getting from this theme. perfect for a champion. and perfect for an Electric/Steel Trainer.
So which in canon Character or Pokemon do i think this theme fits the most?
when i hear this theme i imagine Colress who in his pursuit of power has obtained the power he sought and he tested this power he recieved and beat the elite 4 and dethroned a champion to become the new champion. he sought after power. he obtained the power he sought. then he proceeded to dethrone the elites becoming the one above all else. the one trainer who had true power everyone else and he knew he would not be dethroned.
that is what i imagine when listening to this theme. i feel like this perfectly fits a Colress who achived his goal. this is the in canon character i choose. but this is just my opinion.

I don’t think colress would ever be strong enough to do that he can’t form a bond with his pokemon , I’d say this theme suits Alain from the Pokémon anime since he has a powerful mega charizard

Finally Beat The Game Myself And HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE MOST IVE ENJOYED A BATTLE
Honestly the best twist I've seen in a pokemon game, him being the champion fits with his character so well because obviously he would be the strongest since he would strive to have the perfect team and would never stop getting stronger and making a team with perfect synergy hence his speech before the fight.
I play this game in hard mode, and I never tried to level up my team. This figth was so fk insane. He destroyed me so many times, but I did it. Respect to the champion from Torrent Region and wonderful character, he helped us many times. Reukra built the perfect team.

The entire elite four and champion struggled ridiculously hard against two of my Pokémon: delta muk and Lapras, both of whom I trained to be tanks. They legit shred through teams
my delta snorlax swept 3 of the elite 4 members on its own. Had over 450 hp when I got there, did belly drum, then just swept them
Defence is the best way in Pokèmon as stat buffs are overpowered as hell. You can have a very bulky EV trained Pokèmon who knows some Attack Buff moves, keep it Bulk Up or Swords Dance.
Because of the massive defence you're guaranteed to set up enough to sweep through teams as most offensive Pokèmon against you would be frail & defensive Pokèmon wouldn't do enough damage

I failed the Elite 4 many times. I couldn't get a good enough team to beat them (or was not utilizing the ones I had well).
I finally hand picked a new team with each pokemon selected with a lot of thought.
I finally made it to the champion for the first time, where my Mega Haxorus one-shot everything while standing with 6 hp.
I loved everything about this fight, but oh my god my underleveled Delta Venusaur swept his whole team XD

When the beat dropped I stopped playing the game and started dancing
I spent probably 1 hour or so, reviving and intimidating his last pokemon which i believe is the Mewtwo one, using a level 60 gyrados, it's still the funniest win i've ever gotten in my first playthrough

I find it absolutely hilarious how difficult this fight is meant to be but I just ended up teaching my Mew thunder wave and just spamming Calm Minds until i was unkillable and also a fucking cannon.
I'm pretty sure I only used my Delta Charizard and my Mew throughout the whole fight
Not to downplay the fight, it is AMAZING and VERY DIFFICULT, its just i ended up basically cheesing it (after like 50 resets)
I am purposefully preparing gastro acid for the volcorona. The reason it has no weakness is due to levitate, which has multiple ways of being disabled. Smart Dwayne (Delta golem) with smack down and earthquake is one way. another is with a gastro acid user. or you can change it's type. if you know what's coming, prepare for it.

My Insurgence Champion battle:
Gardevoir, Blizzard, Foe Frozen, Calm Mind x2, Sweep, lol. But man, E4 was really hard, had to restart multiple times to even do something. My Mega Eevee solo-run will be dead xD

Took me 50+ tries my first playthrough. I also took me a lot longer than it should have to realize the level scaling. So my pokemon that did well in the fight kept raising his max level and the ones that didn't keep up did worse.
Second playthrough second try sweep since I had a speed boost blazekin bulk up twice and swept

I only have issue with delta mewtwo others I use Lucario and flygon to sweep them .
Getting those red-colored pokemon on hard was an absolute nightmare ;( (and no livewire)
I got through it with my volcarona and quiver dance
I once did the no fainting challenge and got a shiny 'red' Lucario, I was the happiest person ever then... a couple weeks later my laptop died and all my progress was lost
My ice resistance against Kyurem help me set up with my Delta Gardevoir and sweep the rest of his team
