FYI, like I wrote you previously I played with my CLK500 that I bought from Copart somewhere around August, and the navigation had exactly same circle/spot on it. I was scratching my head about it for a bit, but in next spring the spot was gone! By itself. I didn't do any tricks :) I found out it on the day I was selling that car :)

I Just bought an Cl 500 Year 09/2003 love it in any way awesome and comfortable car just kinda have to put gas every 3 Days in it 😂 I have the problem that I bought it with the small radio, now I‘am not very sure how to solve the problem. I like to have the big radio for what I probably have to buy also a complete new consul... not very sure how to get the big Radio and a different consul.
Mike I have a 2002 CL55. You said we could use the 2003 radio to upgrade but the buttons over the radio are different as well right? Do the wood trim have to be changed along with the radio and will that wood trim fit into the 2002?

Ha! I didn’t need a code for either radio. In older Mercedes radios (Alpine units) you had to have a code. It was on a card with the owner’s booklet. There are a couple of web sites where you can pay about $12 and get a code. I’ve only owned one Cadillac, so I’m not that knowledgeable about them.! #100percent #Truth 😜😜

Yes, you’ll need the center console from a newer CL. Good luck!!

Yes, you’ll need to find a new center console piece with the larger opening.

If I remember , you change the position of 2 wires on the connector. Everything should work. Google!! Loo
