I really hope that I can have the wand I got on wizarding world a while back It was . Cherry wood Dragon core 14 1/4 length Quite Bendy flexibility It would be especially cool if the WW patronus was added like the house and wands have been We do have footage of Azkaban so I have a sliver of hope for it 🤞😁
I got a 12.5 inch maple wood wand with a dragon core and rigid flexibility when I took the quiz. I also got sorted into Slytherin, so I'm really pumped that the lore of my wand just happened to line up really well with my lore of my house.
I took the quiz and got House Gryffindor My wand is 13 inches ebony wood with a phoenix feather core with surprisingly swishy flexibility My patronus charm is an Erumpent.
I did the wand test quite a long time ago. But I think mine was something like a 12 3/4" chestnut wood with a unicorn hair core. Unyielding flexibility. Which makes so much sense considering I'm going to be involved with everything fantastic beasts, flying, and herbology.
Very very similar to mine. 14 1/4 Chestnut wood with a unicorn core. Slightly springy flexibility. Suggesting we're skilled with magical beats & herbology. Which fits because magical beats are pretty much what I'd be the most obsessed with in this world & herb gardening is a hobby I have irl. I'm also a Hufflepuff which just makes it seem like I'm copying Newt lol.
I like that my Ebony fits all the combat magic we'll be doing in the game, especially fun would be Transfiguration since I like playing as shape changing Druids.
Dude, thank you for even bothering to add SFX to dragon, phoenix, unicorn, and wood noise when talking about them in the video. Based on this video I have some idea of what I want but not 100% Top Core Choices: Unicorn + Phoenix. I'll prob go with Phoenix Length: 9 to 10.75 inches. Top Wood choices: Ash, Blackthorn, Cypress, Pear, Pinewood, Vine Secondary: Black Walnut, Cedar, Cherry, Poplar Tertiary: Hawthorn, Hornbeam Hazel: This would make a good element for a story.... Flexibility: On a scale of 1-5 (cuz I forgot the different levels of flexibility cuz the words and meanings are confusing....and its hard to say which is harder or softer than the other...) 5 being most rigid, 3 being in the middle, I'd prob be a 2 or 3, or 4. Its kinda hard to say.
My Wand will be Dragonheart String with Pear Wood. I plan to play a slythering, who isn‘t afraid to use the forbidden curses, but I don‘t want to play a evil/dark wizard.
If you want to get technical, it was common for wizards to collect the materials for their wands for a long time. In fact, druids used grapevines as wand materials. In terms of the Wizarding world's timeline, prefab wands are relatively new.
So, when it comes to the game, the things you covered are definitely there(though I'm not sure if all the wood types were present). The other thing you get as a conceit to it being a game is to pick a visual style with 3 color variants. You see that in some of the footage shown, such as at 17:17 in the video where there is a spiral along the length of the wand. The various teachers seem to have different styles as well, such as comparing the Herbology teacher's wand to that of the DADA teacher.
Took the WW quiz weeks ago and got sorted to Slytherin. Wasn't really expecting it at first since I'm not particularly cunning or prideful, but I guess determination, resourcefulness, and ambition all checked out. As for my wand, it's made of Beech, Phoenix core, 13 inches, with Unbending flexibility. I initially wanted a Dragon core because they generally have the most power lore-wise, but having a wand that is capable of greater range of magic isn't bad either. And finally, for my Patronus... It's a Deerhound for some reason.
My wand has a core from the heart of a bad dragon. It's 24 inches long and made of the hardest wood. My power is unmatched, and the witches call me the Bootymancer. I always leave my broom by the window in case I need to make a quick exit, for how else will the Bootymancer fulfil his noble quest to bed every big booty witch in all the Wizarding World?
I took the test recently and got a 11 3/4 inch Unicorn core Hawthorn wood wand that was surprisingly swishy and flexible. I found it interesting that Hawthorn wood wands tend to “make a strange, contradictory wand, as full of paradoxes as the tree that gave it birth” that is both “particularly suited to healing magic, but also adept at curses” and seem to gravitate towards those with a “conflicted nature, or who are passing through a period of turmoil.” I found the whole “passing through turmoil” part especially interesting because my patronus appeared as a Fire-Dwelling Salamander, which is associated with finding comfort in the concept of rebirth and is usually representative of someone with great resilience, very “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. So my patronus plus the Hawthorn wood with the Unicorn core in my wand makes me think it’s like my emotional support wand trying it’s best to help temper any negative emotions that may bubble up from time to time due to some kind of trauma, and transform my pain into power. Which considering I have recently become a widow and single mother irl all makes sense.
honestly as someone who bowed out of HP quite early, I've been enjoying the little bits of lore in the simple things like the composition of the wand. Especially when some of the combinations are almost idiosyncratic to each other. I wound up in Slytherin with an Ash wood, dragon heartstring, wand of 12 and a half inches with hard flexibility. So a core that could leave its master if bested, nestled in a wood that looses all power and skill if passed on or gifted. A slightly above the median length with a resilient yet still pliable bend. Inciting a wielder to act on ambition, but not yield to arrogance, or find contentment in hoisting ones issues to others, or future generations. A length suited more to a flamboyant approach but still allowing for elegancy. All compounded with a rigidity that is firm, but not unyielding again encouraging confidence within oneself but acknowledging room for growth, and introspection. I'm really looking forward to the release and glad to see that a lot of other people are as well.
I love the different rolls you can get and I really hope they play into it I mean the feeling of getting a god tier gun roll in bungee destiny 2 combined with the pure comedy of maybe getting a wand that is an enigma. I mean I'd love it if you get a wand so bored it blows up and you have to ingame replace it, or you get brittle wand with dragon core and forced to either master it or use careful spells not wanting to risk destroying it. I also saw an interesting comment on a wand TH-cam video that was somewhere along the lines of "when making fanfics I start with the wand and that creates my characters for me" got to love all the little detailed tiblits that keeps the series alive in my opinion
I got Hufflepuff as my house, a White Stallion as my Patronus, and a 10" cypress wood, unicorn core and surprisingly swishy flexible wand. So apparently noble, loyal, just and able to adapt, which all kinda surprised me lol
I got Gryffindor (but was very very close to being put into Ravenclaw), a bat as my patronus, and 12-inch reasonably flexible Hazel wood with a Dragon hearstring core . So I'm smart but value courage, and I feel strengthened by fear and rather try to understand fear than get scared (another reason why I'm a Gryffindor I suppose). My wand is loyal to me and gets easily attached to me but defensive against others trying to use it, as well as, along my emotions are in check then my magic is "outstanding." J. K. you could have just blantely called me a stubborn asshole with emotional problems and thrill complexity. You didn't need to go down this psychological rabbit hole of explaining how mentally fucked up I am.
I ended up buying a custom wand on Etsy a couple years ago. For a character who was a first year in 1885. (Which is hilarious to me, cause that matches perfectly with Legacy.) Ebony handle, brass butt, cherry wood main part, with a brass fitting holding them together. Wanted it as a dueling wand, so the creator and I went back and forth with some sketches. We ended up with something part way between a dueling pistol and the concept of Ian Fleming's curved lightsaber grip. It allowed for power and control in equal measure, and was 11.5 inches. The core (not actually in it for obvious reasons) was dragon heartstring. I will name the seller once I figure out which of my damn emails my Etsy account was through XD)
So excited to play this game. I got sorted into Slytherin, with a dragon patronus and a Elder wood wand, phoenix feather core and hard flexibility at 14 1/2 inches.
Finally took the quizzes. Got sorted into Slytherin (was fully expecting Ravenclaw) and my wand is Elder wood with a Phoenix core 13 3/4" with unyielding flexibility. I guess I'll take that over to the game!
Of course I would love to have an Elder wood staff. Probably with a Phoenix core. I ended up with a 14” Laurel wood with Unicorn core using wizarding world. Fun and informative video!
Hi Laurel wood wand buddy! I also have that wood, but a dragon heart string core. I love the fact that our wands will zap someone with a bolt of lightning if they try to steal it!
I got elder wood and unicorn hair, 14 1/2 inches, unyielding flexibility. Of course, my knee jerk reaction is to say "I'd rather have a stronger core". But unicorn Hair is also noted to be consistently reliable, and I think I'd rather have a reliable tool in my hands than strong but unreliable one, when my life could be on the line. Also got sorted into Ravenclaw- Which, having taken test like these before, I *always* end up in either Ravenclaw or Slytherin. It's not terribly surprising. Was kind of surprised how short the test were.
@@neptunecentari7824 one drawback lore wise it should be extremely difficult for you to do a curse with those wands Personally I play RPGs as myself and don't see myself using curses but considering you got plenty of spells that kind of do the same job even if they doubtfully made that restriction in game with those wands so you should be fine but just an immersion thing to ignore I guess
@@AsaelTheBeast the patronus and house selection quizzes have a fault where the have a huge pool of questions but only ask you a couple of them, idk why they don't fix it to improve it accuracy. Just need to use the entire pool of questions Being a fucking loser Iam making a spreadsheet because I want to know what patronus I'd actually get as I get a different one each time
Mine is larch wood, 14.5 inch with a phoenix feather core and quite flexible. I like how it's stated that owners of larch wood wands often have unexpected talent that not even the owner may realize until they're paired with the wand. This really struck a chord with me, because I often tend to underestimate myself and end up surprising myself and others with what I can actually accomplish once I put my mind to it. Really excited to see what they did with it in the game!
Same, I've been told irony follows me like a shadow and I'm a walking contradiction, so it's funny I got the Holly wood wand with a Phoenix core, tow contradicting aspects in one wand, so the fights itself. Much like I do when trying to come to a decision about something. Independent but still protective. It's crazy how the wands describe the person.
After doing the test I got an 14 1/2 inch ebony wand with a phoenix core and rigid flexibility. I love how well the descriptions fit my own view of myself.
Bro I have preordered this game over dead space. The digital deluxe version. The Harry Potter world really helped me go thorough my tough times when I was bullied. If I can live the world, it would be my heart. Oh the music. Knowing Avalanche I know they have created a great world.
My results were Ravenclaw, Black Walnut, 11 3/4”, Unicorn Hair, Unyielding Flexibility, Husky patronus. My old account years ago, before this current one, had the exact same things hilariously except the wand length used to be 13 something inches. I like to think it means I stayed relatively consistent but mellowed out with age. Plus I love dark wands like Snape’s and Sirius Black’s, and huskies are one of my fave dog breeds!
My wand, and this has been my wand since Pottermore launched (hi, its me one of the beta testers who passed the 3 days of tests to be able to get into pottermore early) is a Unyielding 12 3/4 Cypress wand with Dragon Heartstring core, and I intend to keep it, same as my House (Slytherin).
I got a 11 ¾" Laurel wood with a phoenix core and slightly springy flexibility. I was also sorted into Hufflepuff which surprised me, as we, my friends and I, always slightly joke around when it comes to them. (I even tried the test multiple time with each result ending up as Huffle) so I guess I am going as that haha. I got a Thestral as my Patronus though which I'm quite happy with, as I am very fond of the Thestrals.
Hufflepuff students are the ones that stay and fight in Hogwart against Voldemort. While they are known to be kind and caring, they are the most loyal and brave. Sometime I think they can be even braver than Gryffindor when it is about protecting what they love.
When I took this test during my teenage years my results were Ash with phoenix core, 14 ¼ length and hard flexibility. Many years later my results changed to Cypress with phoenix core, 13 ¼ length and springy flexibility
Everyone keeps saying that elderwood wands of the longest length are the best wands. In truth the wands reflect the users personality and thus there is no one good wand. Also, it is hinted at that some wands are better for certain tasks than others whether it be dueling or taming beasts. This might be reflected in the game by the wood type granting certain hidden bonuses and all wands are likely to get a small bonus of some kind. Don't feel you need a miniature staff with a 14 inch wand as Harry Potter was quite competent with a Holly Wand of eleven inches. I'd pick a wand that suits you or matches your Wizarding World account. So many trying to cheat the system by looking up choices to get 14 inch unyielding elderwood wands with a dragon patronus which defeats the purpose of the test which is trying to compliment you with both a wand and patronus suited to you.
I've ended up with being in Slytherin, as well as a 131/2 inch fir wood wand, dragon heartstring core & unyielding flexibility. You'd think i'd end up with a pretty flashy, flamboyant or intimidating patronus but I got a mole. Crazy, huh?
I got a 12 inch, slightly springy, maple, unicorn wand. A perfectly balanced wand for my ambitions in Ravenclaw! Also got the mouse patronus that stopped like 100 dementors, but the patronus doesn't carry over unfortunately.
I appreciate this video so much as I'm trying to understand what fits me best. Stuff like this matters to me and I'm sure it matters to other people. It makes them feel a little more original and that makes you feel more immersed in the expierence
Hufflepuff is a wholesome house. I got a hedgehog! Badass spike little punk, victim of roadkills.. surere would be Nice if I got raven, Wolf or dragon but got 3 other house for that. I Just WISH we could quizz/ reroll for and aspect. I dont want to delene and register on the Hogwarts site JUST to get my favored setup!
*long but informative and might make you feel better about your patronus* Tbf after answering honestly over like 5 emails and getting different patronuses EVERY time as well as getting ravenclaw twice, griffendoor twice and Hufflepuff once Iam looking at the cheat sheet for the patronus quiz and out of 5 questions you answer you could get 5 different questions in each go (question 1 has five different question it could ask you as well as question two having its own 5 variations of questions it could ask you and so on ) meaning minimum you could only answer 5 questions each quiz but get asked 25 different questions creating a 5x5on the power of 3 different patronuses you could be paired up with just by answering honestly with how badly the quiz is made and that's not even adding in the 6th and 7th questions for the extremely rare or uncommon patronuses giving you a bonus question totalling for 35 possible questions with upto 3-4 different answers per question leaving you with different patronuses each time you do that quiz even you use the same answer for each question they ask you 5-7 questions out of a pool of 35 questions minimum. Unless you some how get the same 5-7 questions over different email you are going i get a different patronuses each time you do that quiz And wont don't know what patronus suits you best unless you go on a spreadsheet and find out which animal shares the most answers you'd pick/prefer to answer. They could fix it just by asking you all 25-35 questions, idk why they did it this way. As gutted as my friends who got dragons are for their pratronus not been able to add them into their the game unlike their house and wands I got 3 different dogs (chow, Irish greyhound and newfoundland) as well as an eagle and a black mare/horse.. honestly maybe one of like Irish greyhound is fitting after reading the meaning but... But after looking at the Reddit patronus spreadsheet cheat sheet I could of got any of 135 different patronuses depending on what order of questions they asked since they only ask 5 random questions of 35 questions each time. Depending on what questions you are asked you are locked out from over patronuses unless you redo them. And you can only skip one question before the quiz resets. I'd gladly fix it for them by just adding the rest of the questions same for the not so bad house selection which with less variables is abit more accurate but isn't completely viable since they are extra question you could not be asked that just one dramatically seperated say Hufflepuff from everything or a sly from raven claw or griffendoor and vise Versa like for eg. "what class in Hogwarts are you looking most forward to", well study of defence against the dark arts isn't and answer so gonna have to select all of the above oh no I am now a ravenclaw or "you are in a woods what do you approach? Talking frogs, scary tree, scary water or scary statue" well obviously if I can understand the frogs they can atleast inform me if Iam about to become a victim" oh no you speak with animal checkmate you are a Hufflepuff even tho rest of you answers either put you griffendoor or ravenclaw It's super unnecessary but if you did for some reason want to know what patronus/answer suits you best for the patronus, it takes way to long but using a spreadsheet you will find your definitive 1 answer instead of 130 different patronuses you could get every time you do the quiz like in my case before the spreadsheet. As for the house Iam sure you can just feel that one out tbh
I took my quiz awhile back and got English Oak with a unicorn core 14 1/2 length with rigid flexibility. I also got Slytherin which surprised me because I always identified with Hufflepuff. So I consider myself a slytherpuff.
Hornbeam with Dragon core feels like the match made in heaven. Powerful, easy to learn and adaptive, flashy if needed and always chooses the owner even if his priorities and views change, and fully personalized and loyal (just like if Unicorn's hair was the core).
I got elder and unicorn hair. Weird match but cool. Elder wood is rarest but likes to be with the strongest person but unicorn hair is loyal to the first owner
I got sorted into Hufflepuff and was paired with a Alderwood wand of 14 1/2" with a Phoenix core and hard flexibility, and was given a white and black haired cat patronis, so far I'm loving Hogwarts Legacy and I'm having an absolute blast carving my own path as a wizard!
People suggested that your house should have been decided for you based on the choices you made in a prologue. People could still game it to get the house they want but it would feel more natural. I feel this could have benefitted from the same approach. The wand is chooses you based on the choices/magic you favour in a prologue where you do what Neville Longbottom did and use a deceased relatives wand.
I got an Ash wood, pheonix feather core, 12 1/2 inches with a quite bendy flexibility amd was sorted into Slytherin. Cant wait to play this game and finally use my wand
I’ve apparently got a hazelwood 12” unicorn hair wand with slight flexibility and springiness. Hazel and unicorn hair are both said to “die” in a way when the owner does, so mine is very loyal.
Ebony, Unicorn core at 12" with a slightly springy flexibility. Before the quiz I had no real idea of what it could be. The result surprised me a bit, but I can see it. I hardly care what other people think of me or view me, so the Ebony checks out. Bring consistant with spells is something I value, even if I crave thechance for big and impressive magic that Dragon Heartstrings are more prone to. Size I can't really say much to as foro the flexibility I feel matches me quite well. I have my notions and ideas, but they are not written in stone and with proper facts and motivation, I can adapt. Greyhound Patronus and got sorted into Slytherin. In all other quizes I took I mostly got sorted into Ravenclaw with Slytherin as a very close second. I am unsure abour that though, I don't see myself having the desired attributes Dlytherin favors.. Pride and cunning .. I never saw myself as such, but then again, who does so with himself. .
10 3/4” Alder wood wand with a Phoenix core 🔥🔥 & slightly springy flexibility. its ideal owner is not stubborn or obstinate, but unique often helpful, considerate and most likeable The quiz put me in House Slytherin 🐍 (which I was hoping for) with a brown hair Patronus. Excited to see it all together‼️
Few weeks ago I researched all the wands such as wood, length and of course cores. It's a lot to take in and Wolf probably spent considerable time putting this video together. Thanks Wolf
@@WolfheartFPS Yup, and now you have a doctorates degree in wands. :) . It's kinda crazy you can flavor the game with a character having a dragon patronus, dragon heart core in a cherry wood wand. Just need to have that dragonmount and you're set lol
Since everyone is showing occ their wands (lol) I thought I’d do the same. Mine is Rowan wood with a Phoenix core, 13” and quite bendy flexibility. As for my House and Patronus, they’re Hufflepuff and the Brown Hare. Basically, I’m reserved but protective. I’m more talented at defensive charms, but when push comes to shove I can more than hold my own in a duel. My repertoire of spells, due to my flexibility to try new things and hidden talent of learning said things, starts off quite small while I remain isolated, but grows immense once I grow more confidence in myself and what I want out of my life. (Well…that’s how I’m assuming it all fits together.) I’d like to say I’m a raven waiting to burst from my badger shell, but that’s just me.
Just took the tests, I got a sphinx cat patronus, ravenclaw house, and my wand was a 13 inch sycamore wood with a phoenix core and surprisingly bendy flexibility
Mines was a Vine Wood Wand, 11 3/4 Inches, Phoenix Core and a Pliant Flexibility. This has never changed even if I changed the outcome of the questions and I answered them as truest as possible. Despite this, I took measures in acquiring a Rowan Wood, everything else is the same. I know myself pretty well and a Rowan wood would definitely be a suitable wand wood; I mainly wanted that particular type of wood because it’s really good with defensive charms and I like the sound of that 😁😁☺️☺️
i got fir wood, dragon heartstring core, and 14in supple flexibility... it's cool to see that you read through all the types for everyone awesome video.
I took the quiz and was excited to get my 13 ¾", hard, black walnut, dragon heart string wand, but when I saw it in the game I thought it looked so plain and unappealing, so I just opted for a twisted version and kept everything else. Now with a nice silver handle that echoes my Ravenclaw tendencies, it was complete. Regardless, I felt like a kid again and an uncontrollable wide smile came across my face as my char held his true wand for the first time. The joy and elation I felt was indescribable! That being said I always felt like the house sorting and the wand fitting should have an optional in-game, in the moment quiz. Like The Elder Scrolls used to do with Morrowind and Oblivion. This game is riddled with impromptu opportunities for role play that would make even the most avid RP'er drool.
Not hugely into HP, but found this interesting so partook: Wand: Maple Wood with a Dragon Core, 12" Length and Slightly Yielding flexibility. This along with being a Ravenclaw apparently. Fun and interesting and a bit of a suprise.
Mine is 12 and a half inche Yew wood with dragon, slightly springy. I agree with my wand's definition. I will be keeping my wand if they have it available in game.
Elm with dragon core ,12in unyielding flexibility. I think i have a well round strong wand, The dragon core offers the most powerful spells at the cost of more accidents, however pared with elm wood, it sort of reduces its prone to missfire and also its improved spell craft for advanced magics
Got Spruce wood, Phoenix core, 12 ¼" Length and Slightly Springy flexibility. I really liked the descriptions and the sheer amount of options for wood type. I was never a big Harry Potter fan but I look forward to the game. edit: got Hufflepuff and Borzoi pratonus btw
@@NeedMyName if u get the time, read the books. The real magic of HP Universe is in the books. In the movies a lot of stuff were cut and not shown in depth.
Rowan wood, Dragon Core, 13" and slightly springy. I was rather surprised when taking the wizarding world quiz, as I had mostly made up my mind to choose Ravenclaw. Imagine my surprise when that ended up being my recommended house. Looking forward to the game despite not being a complete HP nutjob. Thanks Wolf for the coverage. What about you?
Not entirely sure yet for the wand. Probably phoenix core, mid range length and flexibility, and I guess off the top of my head I’m leaning towards aspen, vine, yule, or English oak (and probably 5 more lol).
It's a pleasure to see another Ravenclaw! My wand is also made of Rowan Wood, dragon core, 11.5" length, and slightly yielding flexibility. I guess my self-fulfilling prophecy influenced the outcome of my house and wand.
I got Gryffindor house and my wand is Aspen Wood 12 1/2” with a Phoenix core and Unbending flexibility and my patronus is an eagle owl, I really liked what I got for my wand especially since I’m a massive fan of dueling in the Wizarding World
Finished my test earlier and I'm... a little surprised? I feel like my wand is gonna bail on me lmao. I've got pretty bad depression, but I atleast can acknowledge my issues and I'm not in denial about them. My wands specs via Wizarding World quiz: -Black Walnut wood -Phoenix Core - 14 1/2" length -Rigid flexibility
Got an Elder wood wand, 13 inches with Dragon core and unyielding flexibility, I'm in the Slytherin house with a Dragon patronus(I half-assed the quiz,)and, I'm vibing with my wand tbh
Cypress wood, Phoenix core, 12,5 and hard flexibility. So, I’m noble, my wand has its own will and I do not care to change who I am based on the situation. Great….
This is a great video! I’m really excited for this game. I have an Acacia wood, Phoenix feather core wand that is 11 inches. I never see anyone with Acacia wood.
Hope the game actually includes the test to aid you with creation as a recommended, Then if you dislike then you could alter after as just doing the test I feel would be fun and immersive.
Harry Potter Wand Wood note: Ron’s first wand (originally Charlie): Ash Ramus’s wand: Cypress Harry’s wand: Holly Hermione’s wand: Vine Ron’s second wand (got new): Willow Voldemort’s wand: Yew Mine: Phoenix Feather, Maple, (originally it was 7 and a half from a old website for Harry Potter fans now its) 9 3/4 length.
I got a 10'' hornbeam wand with a phoenix core. My patronus is a wild rabbit and I am a Ravenclaw. The hornbeam woods qualities together with a phoenix core makes for a...very interesting combination? Fun! : )
My wand is rowan wood, unicorn core, 12in and slightly yeilding flexibility. My house is Slytherin and my patronus is the greyhound. Can't wait till Tuesday to play. Great informational video 👍
My wizarding world wand is apple wood wand with unicorn haircore around 11 inches. And the apple wood wand is with owners that can also speak to magical animals
My wand is Alder wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 1/2" and slightly springy flexibility. An unyielding wood for a helpful, considerate, and likeable wizard that specializes in advanced non-verbal spells. A core that learns the quickest and produces the most powerful spells. And a flexibility that means the wizard while set in their ways is capable of adapting to whatever they encounter. Perfect for the Ravenclaw character I've pre-made in my head. A logic driven and investigative young mind who sees every challenge as a mystery to solve and knows that whatever answer remains no matter how improbably must be the truth.
For fun, I was sorted with Larch wood with Unicorn Hair at 12.75 inches, and hard flexibility. I'll have to plug that into my first run in Ravenclaw. Since Slytherin was my second-most affiliated house though I dunno what to do for that, maybe Yew with a Dragon Heartstring. Patronus isn't imported into the game but I got Thestral, of all things.
I only joined the fan club to be able to take the house and wand quizzes for the upcoming game. I was surprised by the sorting hat choosing me as a Slytherin, but I'm going to ride it out, as the sorting hat shouldn't be wrong, LOL. My wand is a 14-1/2" long English Oak with a Phoenix Feather Core that is Quite Bendy in its Flexibility. Excited to see how it works in the game.
I just really wanna play the game I'm so excited. I done the whole quiz stuff a while ago, what I got is house Gryffindor, Patronus thestral, and wand is holly with unicorn core 10 and surprisingly swishy flexible.
I took the test and my wand was laurel wood. Which basically prefers a hard working wizard and has a built-in anti-theft system. It has a phoenix core, and is thirteen inches; surprisingly swishy. I also got the deerhound patronus, which is described as eager to protect others So I guess my in game character would be more defensive.
I got into Hufflepuff which is surprising because I thought I would be in Ravenclaw. The wand I got is Vine Wood with a Phoenix Core, 13 inch with Slightly unyielding flexibility. I'm not sure if my wand is good but as I can do something to help, that's fine with me if I was in the wizarding world
I tried the test in WW, and this is my result: House: Slytherin Patronus: Black Mamba Wand: Black walnut with a dragon core and unyielding flexibility Though the wand does not seem fit my personality that much with that black walnut but I am going to carry it to the game
NOTE: If you take the wand quiz you are NOT stuck with that wand. When the wand ceremony takes place in the game you’ll have the option to change it!

Cherry wood
Dragon core
14 1/4 length
Quite Bendy flexibility
It would be especially cool if the WW patronus was added like the house and wands have been
We do have footage of Azkaban so I have a sliver of hope for it 🤞😁
You can always tell a Dogwood wand from the others. It's the bark.
Dang I was Pinening to make that joke first I'm Evergreen with envy.
Best dad joke I’ve heard all day

@@Kimvanloocke Are you Dutch?
Get out.😂😂😂
I got a 12.5 inch maple wood wand with a dragon core and rigid flexibility when I took the quiz. I also got sorted into Slytherin, so I'm really pumped that the lore of my wand just happened to line up really well with my lore of my house.
Hello fellow Slytherin 😁
Mine was laurel wood 12 inches dragon core with pliant flexibility
I’m a Slytherin, too.
Sycamore Wood w/ Unicorn Hair & 10 3/4” - Unyielding
I took the quiz and got House Gryffindor
My wand is 13 inches ebony wood with a phoenix feather core with surprisingly swishy flexibility
My patronus charm is an Erumpent.
Based on this video I have some idea of what I want but not 100%
Top Core Choices: Unicorn + Phoenix. I'll prob go with Phoenix
Length: 9 to 10.75 inches.
Top Wood choices: Ash, Blackthorn, Cypress, Pear, Pinewood, Vine
Secondary: Black Walnut, Cedar, Cherry, Poplar
Tertiary: Hawthorn, Hornbeam
Hazel: This would make a good element for a story....
Flexibility:
On a scale of 1-5 (cuz I forgot the different levels of flexibility cuz the words and meanings are confusing....and its hard to say which is harder or softer than the other...)
5 being most rigid, 3 being in the middle, I'd prob be a 2 or 3, or 4.
All the would types should be there since it'll be linked with the wizarding world website.
Yeah the visual style and color I guess you have to pick for yourself, since that's not on the wizarding world website.
It's a Deerhound for some reason.
oh wow, same! i'm also slytherin by means of those values, and i have the same patronus + phoenix core!
Yea mine was slytherin and my wand was a laurel with dragon core 12inches and my patronus was black and white cat
I got the mouse for my patronus. Too bad they don't carry it over from wizarding world, but I'm sure there's a story reason or something
I thought I fit in with Huffs but I got Ravenclaw, can live with that, as for my patronus I got a Shrew
😂😂😂
I took the test recently and got a 11 3/4 inch Unicorn core Hawthorn wood wand that was surprisingly swishy and flexible.
I found it interesting that Hawthorn wood wands tend to “make a strange, contradictory wand, as full of paradoxes as the tree that gave it birth” that is both “particularly suited to healing magic, but also adept at curses” and seem to gravitate towards those with a “conflicted nature, or who are passing through a period of turmoil.”
I found the whole “passing through turmoil” part especially interesting because my patronus appeared as a Fire-Dwelling Salamander, which is associated with finding comfort in the concept of rebirth and is usually representative of someone with great resilience, very “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.
Someone leaked the wand customization and it’s looks amazing. From wand shape, length, material and color. I can’t wait!
honestly as someone who bowed out of HP quite early, I've been enjoying the little bits of lore in the simple things like the composition of the wand.
I love the different rolls you can get and I really hope they play into it
I mean the feeling of getting a god tier gun roll in bungee destiny 2 combined with the pure comedy of maybe getting a wand that is an enigma.
Buckethead Studios on TH-cam!
Sadly it looks like he stopped working on Etsy and TH-cam.
i know im messed up when i can't stop laughing at the wand length section
Same
You’re messed up if you didn’t
It's honestly amusing
My wand would be nice and *long*
Im satisfied with my wand its 11/4" aka 30 cm. It will get the job done. Not to short not too long
So excited to play this game.
You can always delete your wizard world account and retake the wand test.. I know I wasn't feeling my answers on some questions
@@neptunecentari7824 one drawback lore wise it should be extremely difficult for you to do a curse with those wands
Personally I play RPGs as myself and don't see myself using curses but considering you got plenty of spells that kind of do the same job even if they doubtfully made that restriction in game with those wands so you should be fine but just an immersion thing to ignore I guess
@@AsaelTheBeast the patronus and house selection quizzes have a fault where the have a huge pool of questions but only ask you a couple of them, idk why they don't fix it to improve it accuracy. Just need to use the entire pool of questions
Being a fucking loser Iam making a spreadsheet because I want to know what patronus I'd actually get as I get a different one each time
Mine is larch wood, 14.5 inch with a phoenix feather core and quite flexible.
Both of you, please research something for me. It is called the "Barnum effect".
@@noxinabox3506 well we can tell who's life is so miserable, that they felt the need to ruin the mood for everyone enjoying themselves...... 🙂
@@horsewings3561 Well lookie there, I didn't even need a self-introduction. Let me know the next time you're happy, I'll bring you down no prob.
“we should all want to be hufflepuff” - jk rowling
Hufflepuff students are the ones that stay and fight in Hogwart against Voldemort. While they are known to be kind and caring, they are the most loyal and brave. Sometime I think they can be even braver than Gryffindor when it is about protecting what they love.
When I took this test during my teenage years my results were Ash with phoenix core, 14 ¼ length and hard flexibility. Many years later my results changed to Cypress with phoenix core, 13 ¼ length and springy flexibility
I got Elder wood with a phoenix core 14 1/2 and hard flexibility
I think it’s unique wand
Same
Everyone keeps saying that elderwood wands of the longest length are the best wands.
Go to Wizarding World and do the tests there to get a House, Patronus and wand.
Got a Larch Wood, Phoenix Core, 13.75", and surprisingly swishy and flexibility.
Got a Wild Boar for my Patronus
Hufflepuff...
*long but informative and might make you feel better about your patronus*
Tbf after answering honestly over like 5 emails and getting different patronuses EVERY time as well as getting ravenclaw twice, griffendoor twice and Hufflepuff once Iam looking at the cheat sheet for the patronus quiz and out of 5 questions you answer you could get 5 different questions in each go (question 1 has five different question it could ask you as well as question two having its own 5 variations of questions it could ask you and so on )
meaning minimum you could only answer 5 questions each quiz but get asked 25 different questions creating a 5x5on the power of 3 different patronuses you could be paired up with just by answering honestly with how badly the quiz is made and that's not even adding in the 6th and 7th questions for the extremely rare or uncommon patronuses giving you a bonus question totalling for 35 possible questions with upto 3-4 different answers per question leaving you with different patronuses each time you do that quiz even you use the same answer for each question they ask you 5-7 questions out of a pool of 35 questions minimum.
Unless you some how get the same 5-7 questions over different email you are going i get a different patronuses each time you do that quiz
And wont don't know what patronus suits you best unless you go on a spreadsheet and find out which animal shares the most answers you'd pick/prefer to answer.
Talking frogs, scary tree, scary water or scary statue" well obviously if I can understand the frogs they can atleast inform me if Iam about to become a victim" oh no you speak with animal checkmate you are a Hufflepuff even tho rest of you answers either put you griffendoor or ravenclaw
It's super unnecessary but if you did for some reason want to know what patronus/answer suits you best for the patronus, it takes way to long but using a spreadsheet you will find your definitive 1 answer instead of 130 different patronuses you could get every time you do the quiz like in my case before the spreadsheet.
Tell that to the Slytherin house and watch them get triggered 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hornbeam with Dragon core feels like the match made in heaven. Powerful, easy to learn and adaptive, flashy if needed and always chooses the owner even if his priorities and views change, and fully personalized and loyal (just like if Unicorn's hair was the core).
Got that in the test.
I got elder and unicorn hair. Weird match but cool. Elder wood is rarest but likes to be with the strongest person but unicorn hair is loyal to the first owner
mine came out to be dragon heartstring, black walnut and 12.5 inches with pliant flexibility, and put me in hufflepuff, pretty interesting
Pliant is endgame ASF flexibility.. about long but I'd imagine it would have a good stats if they go that route
Mine was yew wood, phoenix feather core, 13 and a half inches long with rigid flexibility
I think it would be even more fitting if they game recommends one for you but allows you to pick which one you want anyways.
@@awesomeonejess it does that
I got an Ash wood, pheonix feather core, 12 1/2 inches with a quite bendy flexibility amd was sorted into Slytherin. Cant wait to play this game and finally use my wand
House: Gryffindor
Patronus: Albatross
Wand: Vine Wood Pheonix Feather Core 10 ¾ inch slightly flexible bendy.
Larch wood with a unicorn core 10" and surprisingly swishy flexibility. Sorted into Hufflepuff, Black Mare for Patronus.
I never saw myself as such, but then again, who does so with himself. .
Ended up getting sorted into Ravenclaw with a mastiff patronus, and an 11 1/2" spruce wood, dragon core with hard flexibility wand.
10 3/4” Alder wood wand with a Phoenix core 🔥🔥 & slightly springy flexibility.
its ideal owner is not stubborn or obstinate, but unique often helpful, considerate and most likeable
The quiz put me in House Slytherin 🐍 (which I was hoping for) with a brown hair Patronus.
Excited to see it all together‼️
Few weeks ago I researched all the wands such as wood, length and of course cores. It's a lot to take in and Wolf probably spent considerable time putting this video together. Thanks Wolf
Thanks Unknown Valor! Video took a bit longer than I expected to make lol
@@WolfheartFPS Yup, and now you have a doctorates degree in wands. :) . It's kinda crazy you can flavor the game with a character having a dragon patronus, dragon heart core in a cherry wood wand. Just need to have that dragonmount and you're set lol

My wand result online was Pine wood, Phoenix Core, 10 3/4 length with Unyielding Flexibility. Which is a very nice combo.
(Well…that’s how I’m assuming it all fits together.)
I’d like to say I’m a raven waiting to burst from my badger shell, but that’s just me.
Just took the tests, I got a sphinx cat patronus, ravenclaw house, and my wand was a 13 inch sycamore wood with a phoenix core and surprisingly bendy flexibility
My wand is hazel wood with a phoenix core 13 ¾" and unyielding flexibility. I think I'll stick with this one as I think it suits me well.
i got a 12 1/4 inch larch wood wand with a phoenix core and rigid flexibility, i’m very happy with that. and also sorted into ravenclaw
I know myself pretty well and a Rowan wood would definitely be a suitable wand wood; I mainly wanted that particular type of wood because it’s really good with defensive charms and I like the sound of that 😁😁☺️☺️
Spruce wood, Dragon core, 12.75" that is slightly springy. I was really happy when I got the result.
Spruce wood with a unicorn core 10 ¾" and slightly springy flexibility
i got fir wood, dragon heartstring core, and 14in supple flexibility... it's cool to see that you read through all the types for everyone awesome video.
I have black walnut, dragon core, 14” and an unyielding flexibility
Wizarding world I got elder wood with phoenix core 13’ so I do believe elder is a usable wood in game.
I heard the black ones are longer...
@@East_Coast_Toasty_Boy All I know is I took the quiz back when Pottermore was a thing and... I was quite happy with the results. 😅

House is Ravenclaw and Patronus is Russian Blue Cat
Elm with dragon core ,12in unyielding flexibility. I think i have a well round strong wand, The dragon core offers the most powerful spells at the cost of more accidents, however pared with elm wood, it sort of reduces its prone to missfire and also its improved spell craft for advanced magics
Got Spruce wood, Phoenix core, 12 ¼" Length and Slightly Springy flexibility.
I really liked the descriptions and the sheer amount of options for wood type. I was never a big Harry Potter fan but I look forward to the game.

Not entirely sure yet for the wand. Probably phoenix core, mid range length and flexibility, and I guess off the top of my head I’m leaning towards aspen, vine, yule, or English oak (and probably 5 more lol).

I was sorted into Gryffindor, Salmon Patronus and have a Black Walnut wood with a Phoenix core 12 1/4 and Hard flexibility
Elder Wood Wand with a Phoenix Core. 13 and 1/4th inches long and unyielding flexibility. Seems fitting though a Yew one would be cool too.
Cherry wood, Phoenix core 12 1/2, Quite Bendy flexibility. House Gryffindor and a Fox Patronus
Thanks Gravity. Yea I have not seen too many acacia comments
Thank you for making this video! Just amazing
Thank you for watching 🙏
Fir wood with a phoenix core 11” and quite bendy flexibility is what I got which I’m satisfied with but might choose Aspen wood instead.
Hope the game actually includes the test to aid you with creation as a recommended, Then if you dislike then you could alter after as just doing the test I feel would be fun and immersive.
Harry Potter Wand Wood note:
Ron’s first wand (originally Charlie): Ash
Ramus’s wand: Cypress
Harry’s wand: Holly
Hermione’s wand: Vine
Ron’s second wand (got new): Willow
Voldemort’s wand: Yew
Mine: Phoenix Feather, Maple, (originally it was 7 and a half from a old website for Harry Potter fans now its) 9 3/4 length.
I got Sorted into Ravenclaw and my wand is a Rowan Wood, with Unicorn hair core, 14 1/2 Inches and Solid Flexibility. :)
Your lore videos on wizarding world are good. I would watch many more of these
Thanks Thomdin!
I got a 10' vine wood wand with an unicorn hair core and quite bendy flexibility. I'm also sorted into Hufflepuff with a hedgehog patronus
My wizarding world wand is apple wood wand with unicorn haircore around 11 inches. And the apple wood wand is with owners that can also speak to magical animals
The short wands definitely have a nice personality
I got sorted into ravenclaw, and my wand was a 13 1/2 inch wand with unicorn core, elder wood, and hard flexibility
That which does not bend is all the easier to break. I think, if given the choice, mine will be a dragon heartstring willow flexible wand.
cherry wood - phoenix core - 14.5 length - quite bendy and flexibility
For fun, I was sorted with Larch wood with Unicorn Hair at 12.75 inches, and hard flexibility. I'll have to plug that into my first run in Ravenclaw. Since Slytherin was my second-most affiliated house though I dunno what to do for that, maybe Yew with a Dragon Heartstring. Patronus isn't imported into the game but I got Thestral, of all things.
i'm sure i remember reading that cherry wood wands spells are more deadly if coupled with a dragon core
Laurel Wood
Dragon Core
13 inch
Rigid Flexibility
I think ingame I'll take
Cypresswood, Dragon Core, 12 3/4 inch, and fairly flexible.
I just really wanna play the game I'm so excited. I done the whole quiz stuff a while ago, what I got is house Gryffindor, Patronus thestral, and wand is holly with unicorn core 10 and surprisingly swishy flexible.
home stretch
I took the test and my wand was laurel wood. Which basically prefers a hard working wizard and has a built-in anti-theft system. It has a phoenix core, and is thirteen inches; surprisingly swishy.
I also got the deerhound patronus, which is described as eager to protect others
So I guess my in game character would be more defensive.
I got into Hufflepuff which is surprising because I thought I would be in Ravenclaw. The wand I got is Vine Wood with a Phoenix Core, 13 inch with Slightly unyielding flexibility. I'm not sure if my wand is good but as I can do something to help, that's fine with me if I was in the wizarding world
I got a yew wand with a Phoenix core and it's 10 3/4" in length with unbending flexibility.
I tried the test in WW, and this is my result:
House: Slytherin
Patronus: Black Mamba
Wand: Black walnut with a dragon core and unyielding flexibility
Though the wand does not seem fit my personality that much with that black walnut but I am going to carry it to the game
