I loved this reaction! This is one of my favorite bands right now. The genre Knocked Loose comes under is Metallic Hardcore, which is an extreme subgenre of Punk. If you're going to react to more of them, I highly recommend Deep in the Willow/Everything is Quiet Now. 🤘🤘🔥🔥

Welcome to the hardcore/punk side of metal and what a way to introduce yourself! Their music is just flat out pissed and aggressive all the time and I absolutely love it. They do have 3 people doing vocals, both guitar players, Isaac (lows) and Nicko, then the singer, Bryan. These guys are absolutely absurd live as well. The “Upon Loss” dual track EP and “A Tear in the Fabric of Life” are as good a place as any to continue your journey with this band, and I hope you do!

Man you've knowing where you started, seeing how hyped you get over what is arguably one of the more polarizing band in the Metal realm. I know people who love other Hardcore bands who still just can't get into Knocked Loose because they can't listen to Bryans "screechy" vocals. But you're throwing shit, walking off in awe, you're pulling the stank face... You're not a "Rap fan" anymore, you're a metalhead at heart, and i love to see it. Welcome to the world of somewhat incoherent, chaotic tempo switches and absolutely *PISSED* Hardcore music.
Id definitely recommend Deep In The Willow & Everything Is Quiet Now back to back (the music vidoes are connected) by Knocked Loose.
Super surprising that other people who love hardcore don't like the screech. I mean Snapcase is one of the pioneers and they are far more screechy.
Its weird, I didnt like Bryans vocals after hearing knocked loose the first time and a couple years after, just didnt like the high pitch, but Slaughterhouse got me used to it i think and then with Deep In The Willow and Everything Is Quiet Now I just realized how amazingly pissed it they sound and I love it

Around 4 years ago. Was at a music festival. Never heard knocked loose before. They came on stage and the crowd turned savage. Have been a huge fan since. This song is heavy!
Mike Hranica from the devil wears prada does both the high and low harsh vocals in the same bars. He's incredible too.

If you want to relax a bit after the Knocked Loose "bulldozer", check out "While She Sleeps - To the flowers", you won't be dissapointed. Less hardcore, but intense in another way. The song is good and the video is even better.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone that hasn't experienced this music much experience and appreciate it in the same way I did the first time I heard it two decades ago. So many people write it off so quickly and never consider revisiting it ever again, and seeing you go through the same motions I did with a completely open mind just feels good. Glad you enjoy it, and so much more out there for you to enjoy.

I would name a band from Sweden, called Imminence. The front singer does super sweet clean singing, and harsh... And the kicker, he does it while playing the violin.
Super interesting, talented music.
And as a fun fact, they do some insane music videos to, following sort of the same universe "story" super high production, almost like a small tv show.
A live concert from them, to really get the feeling of the music, and him going between clean and harsh. And playing the violin.

Some of the best deathcore bands have two vocalists. Angelmaker, in gloom, psycho-frame, carcosa. Just gives it more room for creativity

Knocked Loose is one of my FAVORITE bands. Some songs you should check out are Where the Light Divides the Holler, Mistakes Like Fractures, All My Friends, and Counting Worms (their most popular song)

Knocked Loose has been my favorite band for almost a decade and they just keep getting better and better. They are considered post-hardcore or hardcore. Knocked Loose don't fuck around haha! Another band I think you'd enjoy reacting to is Landmvrks, a metal band out of France. Flo, the vocalist is a rapper on top of having insane vocal range when singing/screaming and the band as a whole are just incredible!! Songs I'd suggest you check out are Death, Lost in a Wave, Rainfall, and their newest release, Creature 🙂

You definitely would've found your way to our circle of headbanger delinquents if you would've been located in the same town during our little local 10 year reign of the tiny littile metal scene we had. Our band was Third World Abortion. We were a 3 piece and we rented 3 of 5 apartments this one house had. So we called out place the abortion clinic and we used to throw down. Every show we had in our town just went to cheap beer and inviting the whole bar back to our place for some more fun until the sun. You just remind me of so many people I knew back in the day. Good times. And keep it metal!!! \m/

I would really like to see how you would react to something like Fleshgod Apocalypse since they are death metal but with classical music influence. It actually goes so hard and it's a really unique experience! I recommend the song Sugar and the word "sugar" being a reference to drugs because the lead vocalist's friend overdosed on heroin and he made a song sharing his experience on it. The band is full of really talented musicians and I really hope to see you do a video on them cause I'm sure you'll love them. Cheers mate!

I'm glad I finally found someone on the same page as me. Heard so many amazing things about the band, saw Teddy check them out and thought 'go on then' and I just cannot get on with the high half-scream vocals, but the song sounds great. 😭😅

Loathe also has two singers that both do screams, plus they also have cleans. I'd recommend checking out "New Faces In The Dark".
Knocked Loose's genre is Hardcore. But they are a litte unique in that they hang with the metalcore crowd and more with the masses playing in Cochella.

There are many metal vocalists that can do extremely high and extremely low vocals back to back. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore and Ian Bearer from Rings of Saturn are two of my favorite examples. Senseless Massacre from Rings of Saturn and SunEater by Lorna Shore are two examples of what I mean.
