It would have been nice to see the trailer lid open with the new cooler rack and the Yeti cooler. I'm curious to see if it still hits or how much space you now have. What about the issue of the cooler hitting your tail light? Is that still an issue?
Fair point. There’s def a sweet spot, if the rack is closer to the trailer giving the bike more space than the lid won’t stay open. When the rack is centered the lid opens all the way and stays up and I’ve mitigated the taillight issue. I imagine if I go up a crazy steep driveway there’s still potential for the bike to hit but it hasn’t happened again since upgrading
