They are currently in a battle with the Wynn. A lot of employees have left the Wynn for Fontainebleau, including one of my patients-i’m a nurse practitioner. I don’t like to patronize businesses that treat their employees poorly. So, a point for Fontainebleau. It is beautiful, and it seems to line up better with my values.
Has the Wynn been treating their employees badly? As for Fontainebleau, we have honestly really enjoyed our time in there so far. We like the casino and typically do well there, the drinks are decent and come out often, etc. The one big downfall for me is still the location but it still definitely seems like a decent place overall. We might try and stay there even just for a night on our next trip in August.
@@Spot_Wright yes that is my understanding. Their employees were involved in the near-strike and people have been driven to fb to the degree Wynn is suing them for poaching employees. I told my patient that the Wynn was my favorite hotel when he told me he had worked there, and he said “ it’s fun to be a GUEST there”
@@bethanyarnp8852 oh yes I did hear about all the poaching. You can't blame people for wanting to leave but the grass isn't always greener. I'm sure the Wynn is a hell of a lot more busy than Fontainebleau. It can't be easy working in any of these hotels though when everyone around you is drinking and having a good time and you're stuck working. I know I wouldn't like it!
@@Spot_Wright the thing that sticks with me is how hard they work at the Wynn property to make it a world class experience. They should feel supported in doing that.
@@bethanyarnp8852 I agree. And I bet some make as much as they do at places like Excalibur.
