I like how 8man acknowledges that if he was born a decade earlier, he would have fallen in love with her. He's self aware and understands himself, he's not gonna lie to himself and say that he didn't find Hiratsuka attractive (both physically and mentally). But, he also acknowledges that he wasn't born 10 years earlier, and that it's pointless to pursue a hypothetical when the circumstances have made it impossible

Well, atleast there's a Visual Novel about Sensei and Hikigaya ending up and marrying eachother.
She’s best girl here’s why:
If it wasn’t for her pushing our introverted Hachiman into the service club. None of the life lessons that transpired would have come to pass. In other words if it wasn’t for best girl sensei. Hachiman wouldn’t have become the man we know and love. And not to mention he wouldn’t have met his high school sweetheart…Yukino.
I mean what more validation do we need? When the MC himself stated if he’d been born 10 yrs earlier he would’ve wedded her.
And let’s not forget how she looks after our MC whenever he’s down in the dumps. She knows how to lift him up and get him back on track. She’s overlooked if you ask me.
This is a trope that never really works for me.
Because this trope almost always is done with attractive, intelligent, friendly women whom there's just no way I can believe they couldn't find someone.

So if you already have those console you can directly play the game but if you don't you can watch the playlist I give. The only downside is that's the story is in from middle but you won't have problems understanding main things if you have already watched the anime.

She actually made her students lives better and she looks more like Yukino's mom than her actual mom.
Yukino is clearly the worst. She might be okay under all layers, but she's an emotional wreck, has problems with honesty and secrecy. It's just so frustrating to weed all through that to get somewhere. Iroha is by far more warm and open. Sensei is an obvious choice.

She also gave him an out before. Not liking Yukino’s character is fine but she’s far more compatible and any issue she has is glaringly bigger with Yui. You guys just love genki girls cuz genki girls are genki.
Also, what issues with honesty and secrecy are you talking about? The one thing they had in common for most of the show was their disdain for shallow lying to preserve the status quo.
@@amilcarsafeca7629 Yukino is still highly immature even if she admitted that. It changes almost nothing. She needs to mature more. Yui is actually way more mature even if she is less honest. Hachiman himself is not really tactital, kinda immature, but more honest I guess. Shizuka is clearly both more honest, mature and tactical, so clearly the best out of cast, but she's not a kid no more. So that's kinda expected.

The way Yuki conducts herself on her day to day, her decision making, her attitude, in what way is Yui ever more mature? She’s literally a genki girl for 60% of the show.
