Nice review. I've never tried govee but there are tons more options in the Twinkly app than you showed for complex animations, uploading your own graphics and designs etc. They also carry a Pro line and Plus line. But for me the biggest reason I like Twinkly is how good they look grouping them together outside around frame of house and bushes and trees to create great coordinated holiday lights animations
LED Guy , thank you for the market research. Hoping that the Govee team is watching this and realize that 3d mapping is a lighting product that they can't ignore.
I hope so too! Supposedly, they have it on a couple of products, but I haven’t figured out how to do it yet. Maybe it was in the initial set up and I need to start from the beginning, but if that’s the case, that’s broken too.
@@TheLEDGuy I believe i watched your Xmas tree lightning comparison between govee and twinkly. I bit the bullet on the govee ones. I was able to find the 3d mapping function on them. on main app screen on top right. the setting gear symbol. then about the middle of the page , you'll see shape mapping. once you enter that you have to options to map, 3d or general. wondering if that's available on the netting lights?
Yeah, I’ve tried that. Cannot find it. I have the latest version of the app. Maybe it was something I missed during the initial set up. Regardless, the UI clearly doesn’t make it easy. Thanks for the heads up!

Are either of these sets able to link multiple sets for one larger display?
Twinkle yes. Govee no.
This would have been a better comparison if you put the lights on the same bush
Good idea but Size difference too much. Almost 1/2 size.
