I was using the latest version at the time. If you don't see a track matte pick whip then you are using an older version, prior to 2023 I believe that's when they've added them. Either way you can still use track matte, just set it to a alpha matte or invert matte from the drop down.
Anchor point shortcut is A key, you should press P key for position property. Or if that doesn't work, manually open transform settings and position will be there

hey, thanks for the tutorial! very useful. i came across a problem: particles stop midway through the vanish animations. i can't wrap my head around the cause. might you have an idea why that is?

@@SmertimbaGraphics So far what i found it to make it dissolve is to go to Logo and change the logo in use from the mode NORMAL to DISSOLVE and then it works. The issue with this is that the mode changes the appearance of the logo. I wound with that info if you have any other ideas on what might work?
Dissolve gives a grainy look to things, so it's not ideal. If this tutorial is not working, you could try a few others. If you happen to have particualr plugin, then it's even better
Man, when your title says Without plugins, I don't believe you. I search in effects and adjustments, particle system, and it doesn't come up. I also search for minimax, and it doesn't come up. Does that mean I should install it or something like that? Even so, you make good videos. You helped me with some logos, but in this one I'm not very clear about those effects, they don't appear to me.

Great tutorial! I was wondering how to make the particles moving from the bottom to the top, can you help on this please?
The steps would be the same, just make the particles as well as the reveal move from bottom to top, instead of top to bottom

Are you sure you are setting the track matte of the logo to the shape layer and not the other way around?

You can render the animation as a video and then add it into different projects or you can import this project into different ones and do it that way

Yes, that's right the background will not be black, but you can set the solid to a black color before you render the animation

If you are referring to the part where we use minimax to remove that stroke outline, make sure you adjust the minimax settings until it's gone
after pr-compose in logo reveal then track matting and clicking in matta in inverted then logo turn in black what to do help ?
It's supposed to disappear when set to inverted matte, what color is the logo originally?

If they just stop while being visible, adjust the gravity value further or just generally play around with physics settings

i dont have option of invert matte where to find
In older after effects versions you just select alpha invert matte from the drop down

Track Matte Not Showing on after effects 2019
Older track matte is even easier, just select the layer from the drop-down, it even says alpha matte and inverted matte
