The only issue with the Portas is the kind of flimsy build and cable, but we knew that. Otherwise, they are damned good and go anywhere, and are light as a feather on my head.
TIN is in trouble they really shit the bed on the T4 by leaving the door open for more orders than they could manage. Bad QC has resulted in many earbuds with serious issues reaching customers. Mine started cutting out audio within the first 30 minutes. I'm praying that this wasn't a waste of money as I'm not exactly comfortable with losing $89 on something that I barely got to use for more than a few minutes. My tape came with a thinner two wire that split to two single wires. It was sold by Linsoul Audio on amazon, so I doubt it is a fake. I have also noticed that one sounds louder than the other. Just started using these, initially I was impressed with the details and treble but bass was lacking. I'm describing it as best I can, I'm no audiophile or expert. I used EQ and was able to make my often played tracks closer to how they should sound. I changed the factory tips to to Comply 500 foam tips and this made a massive difference. EQ no longer needed. That detail and treble is there but what sounded absent before is now present. They still have a unique sound that gives me a different way to enjoy my music. Mine came with a very thick mmcx cable with 2.5mm balanced jack and 3.5mm adapter.
You should review the Senfer DT6, they are a dirt cheap IEM that contain a piezo electrostatic driver. These IEMS are surprisingly good for the little money they retail for (Bought my pair from Aliexpress for 16.50$, usually retails for about 30 bucks.)

I'm with you 100% on the P1's! They do something special, and I really don't understand those that don't get it. The T4's may be great, but I think their sound may not be far removed enough from some of the iems I already own. My next investment will be the Shuoer Tape because it's unique and should compliment my collection, rather than be another redundant sound signature for me. Again, the P1's are great, but for the enthusiast - maybe not so much the casual listener.

If you have the tin t4: Try cutting the stems off a pair of the large silicones, leaving just enough to put inside and meet the rubber inside the foam tips, then fold the large silicones down over the foam tips. You'll thank me later. Ghetto free hybrids are magical. Small note though: sub bass cannon mode activate.
Greetings from Slovakia Zeos, what about the midrange between T2 and T4? Isn't the sound on the t4 little bit Vshaped due to that lower treble and sub bass boost and the midrange on the T2 more forward in comparison with the T4? Or do the T4 have all that good things (also midrange) as the T2 and a little bit more of everything? Thank you :)
Looking forward to a review of Shuoer Singers. $75 electrostatic and DD IEMs that are less V-shaped than the tapes. Only downside is the 2 pin connection instead of MMCX.

Zeos, please help? Between the Shuoer Tape and T4, I like a wider sound stage and a flatter sound signature, no boosted bass or treble, which do you think will serve me better? I do like when you said the Shuoer Tape has more detail. Thank you for any advice and keep rockin’ you reviews. I showed one of my friends, who doesn’t really care about audio, your review of the Koss KSC75’s and he just loved the review. Like me he thinks you are awesome and hilarious.
I have both, i think you might like the T4 better. I actually like the Tape better, but only after the cable is upgraded to balanced 2.5mm, and the tips are upgraded. The T4 doesn't necessarily need any upgrades, just use the included white tips. Some would say the mids are a little shouty on the T4, which i can kind of agree with. Hello Zeos! I´m confused on what to get for my first ever iems. I've seen a lot of videos about the "best" iems on a ($120 tops budget) and i'm stuck with this options: Tin T4 - Shuoer Tape - Fiio FH1 - Fiio F9pro. I'm not and Audiophile, just enjoy music and want to start LISTEN/FEEL music (mostly classic rock). Can you recomend which one do you think has better soundstage and give me that "high" feeling while listen to music? Thak you!!! Hope you are doing good!
I need some advice please! For female vocals (Angel Olsen, Weyes Blood, Björk, Rosalía) and non-low male vocals (James Blake, Moses Sumney, Blood Orange), between T4s and the Shuoers portrayed here, which ones should I go for? I love detail, have the RHA T20i at the moment, but the Dual coil isn't toooo resolving and also produces some sharp edge, especially with Björk and Angel Olsen, which really takes away from the fun. To reiterate: Which of the two offers more of these qualities: Detail, Pleasant treble, mids that don't drown in the aural sea; Thanks in advance!
I went from Tin T2s to the Tapes, and I gotta say I like the tonality and speed of the Tapes. Highs are extended and sparkly yet sweet, and the mids aren't super thin sounding. Haven't heard the t4s but if you're looking for real nice highs, the tapes are a good bet.
I was torn between the Tapes and the T4's , I've passed on the Tapes for now as I'm hearing too many horror stories regarding quality control issues. It could just be a bad batch but I'll give it a few months I think. So T4's are on their way as I got the super early bird perk 😁
The issues are mostly about the swiveling mmcx connections but it doesn't affect the sound. Another issue that I personally have (I haven't really heard anyone else experience this) is that the stock cable isn't really durable. The sound sometimes gets cut off from my right unit, but a cable change fixed that. I highly recommend that you pick these up someday. They're really good.
@@rainbowleet9279 ah ok cool , thanks for the feedback. I'll pick them up at some point I expect but my T4's turned up a couple of days ago and I'm enjoying them currently. They live up to the hype 😁
T4 is the most bassy Tin yet, but far from from basshead, also less bass than Blon 03 and some say it has a lot of bass, others say not enough. Just like for me T2 absolutely lacked bass, punch and energy in general.
@@pratikghosh1064 I've used them daily for almost a month, no issues. The metal shell is so comfortably cool actually (as in temperature), fit is great, and the tips happened to be freakishly perfect for me. I think these are probably my best purchase all year. I don't think they are heavy, they are lighter than BLON BL03.
Dude I received the T4's this week and they are fucking AWEFUL. Sibiliant up top isn't even the word. Just pure, shrieking horror. The lows sound the same way. Really skreechy and feels like it's digging into your ear drum. Not sure how anybody could manage that with bass. Since the Tapes are available on Amazon, I got them first and have loved them. So if you know enough about fatigue in the highs, you'll know that my critique of the T4's I got is real.
Also, the "3.5" mm end on the T4 moved around my outputs like a tiny dicked priest in a hooker. Had to connect the Tape wires so sound wasn't constantly cutting out. Such garbage.
There is something extrange with the indie gogo page, i have seen the "counter" reset as many as a couple of times in the last 2 hrs, last one just happened, there is now magically 0 early birds again.... ummmm....

I'm not and Audiophile, just enjoy music and want to start LISTEN/FEEL music (mostly classic rock). Can you recomend which one do you think has better soundstage and give me that "high" feeling while listen to music? Thak you!!! Hope you are doing good!
T4 or F9 Pro
How is this compared to the Tin T2's? lost mine so I'm thinking of getting these or the T3's as a replacement
by how you described the Tapes, i reckon it wpuld be a great IEM for gaming and movies too?
I need some advice please!
For female vocals (Angel Olsen, Weyes Blood, Björk, Rosalía) and non-low male vocals (James Blake, Moses Sumney, Blood Orange), between T4s and the Shuoers portrayed here, which ones should I go for? I love detail, have the RHA T20i at the moment, but the Dual coil isn't toooo resolving and also produces some sharp edge, especially with Björk and Angel Olsen, which really takes away from the fun. To reiterate: Which of the two offers more of these qualities: Detail, Pleasant treble, mids that don't drown in the aural sea;
Thanks in advance!
@@christianjavier8591 thank you for taking the time!
Just got the BLON bl03 so I don't know that I need to spend the money this time.
Very similar to Blon 03, a bit better mids, but noticeably less bass. Balanced tune.
@@TheChazas the bass is similar to the tin t3 or is better?
T4 is the most bassy Tin yet, but far from from basshead, also less bass than Blon 03 and some say it has a lot of bass, others say not enough. Just like for me T2 absolutely lacked bass, punch and energy in general.
@@TheChazas sounds good, im going to buy it.
@@TheChazas one more question, the soundstage is similar between T3 and T4?
For someone who likes bassy music/iems, which would you suggest so far? Blob bl-03? Is something? Thanks
currently listening with the t4's vocals sound amazing on em
The 360p looks 144p wth
Especially on a 32" monitor.
Do you still prefer the blon bl 03 over Tin T2 ?
Is shuoer tape is for studio monitoring? Not for fun sounding?
Have the Tape's since 3 weeks and just love em with the zishan dsd pro, onkyo dp s1 as well as these daps thru the chord hugo 2
What kind of music do you like to listen to?
@@branislavcrljenica2584 Jazz, classic rock and Indian and western classical.
I ordered the shuoer tape but the headfi thread is flooded with comments on how the mmcx connectors and cable are loose and the iems get hot
ooo You know what else gets hot? The Orpheus HE-1
@@ZReviews I'm just hoping my unit is free of all the issues and I can enjoy my music without burning my ear off
@@pratikghosh1064 I've used them daily for almost a month, no issues. The metal shell is so comfortably cool actually (as in temperature), fit is great, and the tips happened to be freakishly perfect for me. I think these are probably my best purchase all year.
I don't think they are heavy, they are lighter than BLON BL03.
@@yogiwp_ good to hear they are working perfectly for you, I'll have to wait for my unit to arrive, btw what are you driving these off?
@@pratikghosh1064 These are easy to drive, so DAP or Phone, both do the job
They raised like 50 grand in an hour. Damn
Thanks. You got a webcam taped to your head?
looking for some nice iems around 150 bucks... would shuoer tape be the best option in terms of durability + sound?
Does anyone like the Redline soundtrack?
meeeee
Good! I thought you might!
P1's is great but need good amplification need dac that suitable on the p1's 😭
Drop Hi-Fi Man 4xx on sale on amazon today for $105...
Apparently the deal is over...
Remember the IEH's? How do the Audeze iSine 10 compare?
Hey guys I heard similar detail retrieval did you hear that!!!
Tin T2 is already treble hell for me
Wich cable do you recommended for the Tin Hifi T4? Similar to T3 cable.
There is something extrange with the indie gogo page, i have seen the "counter" reset as many as a couple of times in the last 2 hrs, last one just happened, there is now magically 0 early birds again....
ummmm....
Christian González same. Guess just a selling tactic. Like the counters on some websites that just reset
I'd call it a miracle of marketing. They rather have sales at 80 then hesitation at 90
I prefer detail and flatness. You can always eq to taste.
Zeos! What’s a good iem for gaming ?
Is 30$ more worth for Tin T4 than BL-03?
Might be a weird question, but the t4's or the 'old' k3003?
I know, it's an IEM vs a 10cm driver or whatever. But, other than that... Shuoer Tape VS Koss ESP95X?
still cant decide if i should get t4 or the tape's xD
i bought shuore tape for $29. with $100 gift from linsoul. hopefully it's a good iem when it's arrive.
how's the tape what a great gift.
@@yuminixy4620 it's better than good. no need dac/amp to drive. bass is thumping. fast responds. with Amp subbass is thundering. i like it more than Tin T4.
@@irliey1 so its tru that better than p1
@@yuminixy4620 I think in overall it's indeed better than P1. Easy to drive, better bass responds. better soundstage. if any, P1 is better at mid range with ample detail and clarity.
i got the blons for 20 bucks with coupons on aliexpress
just bought for 22 bucks. 11/11 sale is great
What coupons did you use?
@@giladkingsley it was $5 if you spend $10+ but only limited amount of them were there.
I got the blon BL-03 (gun metal with mic), two yinyoo cables, 9 foam tips, and 2 sizes of spinfit tips.
All for 34.5$
@@giladkingsley even more awesome deal then
I love my T2's but the mmcx connectors are too lose and it doesn't make a proper connection.
Your unit is defective
does any of these need to be amped ? or can i use it on my phone and be okay ?
getting the tripowin c-8 cable for the blon should I select qdc or 2 pin? Which is more common among other iems? Which works better on the blon?
People reported the qdc not. Fitting right. I'd do 2 pin
@@ZReviews Thanks! Happy 11/11. Love your videos as always
do the blon 03, tapes or kz zs10 pro benefit from burn in?
