    That's great actually!! You're doing and living the way you want and you're comfortable with it by your own efforts and hardwork nobody can question you that! Kudos to you! Im also aiming for German citizenship because its my wish and desire to ☺ we will always be Indian and we know how much we have love and respect for India we don't need anyone else's validation! Btw how many years it take for an Indian to acquire a citizenship in Germany? 😅

    Respect for not being a sheep following the amreeka trend. Also that overrated country is getting very salty towards us Indians recently if uve seen the recent racist attacks, maybe u saved yourself from a future attack too haha :)

    Better to elaborate what made you to take the decision or at least what you had to go through intentionally..

    India is a human resource surplus nation, unlike Germany. Therefore it is right that India does not permit dual citizenship. With German passport and OCI you can continue to enjoy the best of the two countries. Of course, you can’t vote or stand for election in India. Many European countries want young working people to contribute to their welfare system. Compare these numbers: 65+ year old people. India: 6.8%. Germany: 22%.

    Hey I wanted to know about the staring culture in Germany people talk about a lot. Do you get stared too? If yes how do you think their staring would compare to the staring you get in India?

    • @myadhukrishnan
      @myadhukrishnan ปีที่แล้ว

      German people observe [stare] mostly how you are dressed. In German we say "Kleider machen Leute". If you are dressed well, you will get a special attention.

    the simple fact is that if Indian passport was more powerful than the german one, you wouldn't have made this choice. You can live and work in germany without a citizenship, if the choice was based on which nationality you identify with.
    You made the right choice, but the real reason is the disparity in passport power.

    I have a question, I planned vacation in India during upcoming months and I am about to submit my application for naturalisation before my vacation. Am I allowed to go for vacation during the process? Do you advise anything different based on your experience?

    Had you not been married to a German this wouldn't have been possible.

    • @IndianGirlGermany
      @IndianGirlGermany  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's not true. One can always apply for German citizenship if the necessary requirement is fulfilled. Not every person getting German citizenship is married to a German.

    • @sr-xd8jb
      @sr-xd8jb ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IndianGirlGermany We normal people from India have to wait for eight years. Not everyone is lucky to find a German spouse to get citizenship in three years. I can challenge you wouldn't have got it so fast had you married an Indian guy. Traitor.

    India only allow dual citizenship to a child who is born after 1992 and if one of the parent is Indian when the child was born and one German by birth and the child he/she is born in Germany.

    • @82vaibhav
      @82vaibhav ปีที่แล้ว

      Your child is eligible to get Indian passport, if they have German passport.
