Income disparity and the standard of living are the terms that are not inlisted in Indian mindset. That moment we discuss these terms in a mature manner we understand what keeps us apart from countries like Germany. I love my country but i also would love to live life not just keep working 12+ hours with a salary which can only cover my survival and you can't complain because that's the best you can get here as of now.

After living 12 years in DE and having all the entitlements to live there rest of my life - I chose to move back to India, as the feeling of living like a first class citizen in your own country is unmatched !

As an Indian in living in berlin, one thing I like about Germany is child support. You get money each month for raising the kid and education is free. Trust me as a parent; that's such a headache taken away. Also more or less you can be assured that education is of quality.

What are business chances in Germany ?
What about the 40-42% tax you pay in Germany ? lol... so a 60k yearly average salary ends up becoming 36K in hand i.e. 3K! Apartment rent on avg 1500 (all inclusive) + living expenses + food (pretty expensive) + incidentals + India trip tickets etc...so at the end not much left ! Those days of people living 'abroad' were rich are long gone and feel the the GAP between Indian income and abroad is getting narrower and narrower!! Also what about is living away from your family/loved ones!.. Again not discouraging anyone from moving just the facts....

And you forget, it's hard to lose your job in Germany, and even if you lose, the government will back you up..

How about salary in Germany? (after tax)here in India 28 -35 lakh(in Banglore) is common for 5-7 years. what about in Germany?even 70k salary(before tax) would draw 4k(after tax). room rent & other stuffs ll bring down the savings to 2k EURO(which is certainly 30k inr difference compare to what we're getting in India). I'm still not sure to which country shall i move ?Germany, Norway(salary is bit high & tax is kinda low) or UAE(8% tax).?I'm turning 30 in July & I think it's the best time to think about it.
Passport doesn't determine what you make out of your life!... If you have it in you people become successful; especially in these days where people have progressed so much in India. Opportunities are unlimited in India for enterprising people - but if you are just run of the mill kinda person and want stamp of living 'abroad' then better of going away! ... There are many circumstances where White people have privelage over black and brown people. Will you do skin transplantation? U should not insult India and it's passport. I am personally in abroad and obviously I will choose a foreign passport for my personal benefit but will never insult India or Indian passport. It's because of Indian passport I am able to go and study abroad. Obviously you will also opt for OCI card after talking this much about India for just in the case of war you will not be a refuge, your motherland will embrace you with open arms. You can do business and live indefinitely in India with OCI card even with a foreign passport. So just talk with respect and be humble
