Hollywood Undead and Sylosis released a new album too. Stitched Up Heart released their new single "Straitjacket" I think it's the best single they've released so far. It's heavy with some pop-y stuff but you gotta have a taste for it.

100% agree on the ambient factor adding to the overall heaviness through an emotional perspective. That's what sets Invent apart from other bands in the genre, they have always had a special way of making soft/clean tones mesh perfectly with the low tuning and tight distortion/djent sound.

You should listen to a song by Coldcasket. Definitely a not well known band. Found them through Upon A Burning Body because the lead singer of them is the older brother of Coldcasket's lead singer. They only have 7 songs, in which you could listen to anyone because they're all great. However, my recommendation is O.D., which is my favorite song and their first song. It would be cool if you could give them a listen and help get them out there. Please and thank you.

You should check out the band Blueshift, they kind of remind of this band at least musically. Etrenia along with Cloak & Dagger are there new songs, but some old ones that are good are Undertow and Disconnect. Lots of ambient work and really cool guitar riffs. I don't think they are very famous though. Think this band musically, add some Periphery and some Midi, then sprinkle in old Underoath and some Deftones vocals.
If you're wanting to feel creeped out and bad about yourself, you should react to The Offering by Sleep Token. It's an older song but probably the weirdest thing I've heard this week.
