He won the vote, so here's a history story about oor wee pal Robert the Bruce! 😊 Disclaimer: if you laugh in the middle of the night, don't blame me... blame your terrible sense of humour. 😘 Love to you all, as always. S x
Rosebert the brewce - you have been paid high fealty - with a precious nickname from sam the sacred bard - cherish it as you would a rare ancient jewel! ;-)
I still haven't got to the end of this yet lol but tonight I have put it on early with a book so hopefully I can finish it I love this one and William Wallace also Mary queen of Scots thank you sam xx
Hello Sam, I'm not Skottish but I love reading romantic literature! ROBERT THE BRUCE's life and death was romanticized by a Skottish woman. I 'd very much like to say that your voice is so rich and deep, that it makes me feel EXTREMELY ROMANTIC !!! I'VE PASSED MY POST HORMONAL TIME AT LEAST 38 YEARS AGO, SO I'M SURE I KNOW WHAT I FEEL!! GOD BLESS YOU
Robert The Bruce seemed to be The King of International Flip Flops. I suppose politicians/people in charge haven't changed too much all these years later. Some of the politicians I wouldn't trust to be in charge of dog catchers....I would be afraid for the poor dogs!! I don't think humans handle power too well. Sad. However, you, Sam The Charming, are adding something much needed in the world. Your soooothing voice, humor and bedtime stories are much appreciated. 💗 Looking forward to what is next. 💗
He did indeed Robin, but perhaps there were many like him but he's one of the more famous examples. But you're right, it seems that times haven't changes much in recent centuries! But thank you for saying so as always my dear. It means a lot. S x
ah ha so fun you did King Robert....im a Bruce (my Sur name) and a Stewart (closest of several Scottish lines). He is my ggf thru 3 of his daughters and he is my great Uncle atleast 2 ways. Went to Scotland last year. Went in to Dumferline Abbey and other historical sites. Ps Robert also had a daughter named Elizabeth...mentioned by Kings David Roberts son as our beloved sister. She is my 22x ggm. Her 3x great grandaughter married into my main Stewart line which descended from Walter and Marjorie. Yes nobility did that alot. Lol also take it easy on young Robert will ya 😜
Yeah, the biggest problem with your story/history stories is that they work. 🤣 I listened to the mermaids one 5 times and gave up trying to find out what happens! I always fall asleep before the end. My favourite stories are the walking ones in castles, in the forest, etc. All-time favourites are The Sleepy Cat and Night Under the Stars. I've listened to both many times! I mention your stories to anyone who has sleep troubles!
