I feel like her whisper and enunciation is really reminiscent of Selena Gomez
emails i cant send (title track) is about her father cheating on her mom, that's why she mentioned that she can't find forgiveness as fast as her mom did because it really scarred and hurt her emotionally. i love this intro bc it sets the mood for the whole album of how she's angry and frustrated in the lyrics but the melody was super sad and mellow and beautiful, and it carefully transitions into the angriest song in the album which is vicious. plus i hope decode grows on her bc it's also the perfect ending to the album, it's really pretty and it shows how she came up with acceptance in her heart saying that there's nothing left here to decode, and the adlibs in the end with the harmonies and saying at the back "i wanna make a video to our future selves" which is about moving on to the next chapter and i looooved that. decode helped me so much with my mental health.
Wow! When I heard this track I was like „ this song is just how I feel and it soothes me about my dad who cheated on my mom and put me and her through hell“ but I couldn’t believe it was it and someone wrote a song about this feeling, because they are about romantic love mostly😨 I really appreciate Sabrina for saying all the words that are constantly on my mind
she actually just released a deluxe album called “emails i can’t send: fwd” with 4 added songs and let me tell you, all 4 of them were absolutely amazing. this album is perfect from beginning to end.

Because I liked a boy isn't necessarily about the other partner lying. It's about the audience reaction to Sabrina's involvement with Josh, because Olivia's fans were really vicious to her. This is the first and only place she acknowledged the ridiculous amounts of hate.
Ajay was on a social media break for almost 2 years so she missed out on all the drama

If you think about it, Decode is the perfect ending. Like the whole album she spent disecting relationships, analysing different feelings and actions... and she end it with "there's nothing left here to decode" coz there isnt! chapter closed!

@@Panda__Man Context: During Olivia Rodrigo debut single “drivers license” era, there is a whole love triangle thing which cause a lot of Olivia fans went on attacking Sabrina and even Joshua because of some various reasons (they think both of them are hurting Olivia’s feeling or they think both of them are evil for doing this to Olivia).
Anyways, long story short: Sabrina did ended up getting a lot of death threats comments which later on, she releasing “because i liked a boy” as the end/closure of the whole stupid drama, the song is speculated to be Sabrina addressing the drama since she mentioned the death threats comments and how she can’t believe all of this happen simply because she liked a boy.
It’s like a Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish & Kacey Musgraves collaboration. Pop music at its finest!

Emails I can’t send was THE pop album of 2022. It’s new, pop perfection, and Sabrina has killer vocals. Truly one of my favorite albums of all time, no skips.

This album deserves a damn grammy, its so well written, she is DELIVERING on vocals... just everything about it is flawlessly executed!
this album is a lyrical, productional, and structural masterpiece. there’s a story line from start to end if you listen closely, and little bits of easter eggs.
it’s the perfect of blend of Taylor’s writing and Ariana’s sound.
I wish you reacted to the deluxe version because those 4 additional tracks make the album so golden.

i do think it's a bit of the drama effect. people disliked the previous single (skin) and kinda just shit on everything she tried to put out after that. every reactor I've seen that didn't really get affected by the drama all likes skinny dipping on their first listen

It’s so funny because I think decode is one of the best album closers ever. It wraps up the whole album SO well! I just think it’s perfect to end an album with.

the thing with this album is it’s meant to feel like an email- the titles aren’t all capitalised so it’s like your typing an email getting everything out with no intention of editing. the lyrics fitting into an email narrative because of how descriptive they are it’s like she’s letting it all out in this super long ranty email and it’s why decode works so well for the concept of the album imo! i feel like when you think about all those factors when listening the song might improve for you

Ok so some context to the album (because I liked a boy specifically):
So basically Sabrina sings about getting death threats and being called a homewrecker after Olivia Rodrigo dropped her album SOUR and Sabrina was the blonde girl from Drivers License and even though Olivia never said it was Sabrina that Joshua “left” her for, the internet assumed the worst and made Sabrina’s life a living hell. So in this track she explains her side of the story and how it has affected her personally. There are sides to every story and neither Sabrina or Olivia were in the wrong and she kinda explains that and tells us that things aren’t always what they seem.
i believe OLIVE OIL is the toxic one. Her lyrics are telling all

Julia and JP did such a good job co-writing this album, also idk about the main album tracks but the tracks from the fwd share a producer with tracks on Harry's house which explains the similar vibes. I love her and her whole team so much, the artistry is impeccable.

if you're someone who likes sad songs and gravitates towards those when listening to music then it's definitely an amazing song on first listen, if sad songs aren't something you normally listen to unless you're in a mood/vibe then it's definitely a grower

Tornado Warnings grew on me. I didn't love it at first. But after learning the lyrics better, it made me really love the song. I love the second verse, "I deserve an hour in a week
