Usually an album has to grow on me but, i fell in love with this album straight away. I couldnt agree more on the fact that this is the Ariana we've all been waiting for. She has truly found her sound! This is THE ariana grande. And the album was a perfect length, despite it being shorter. It was cohesive, fun but equally just as heart breaking. Even "Supernatural", the horny song lol, had me wanting to god damn cry.
Even though it clocks in at only a little over 30 minutes, it feels longer and it's just enough time for everything to unfold nicely. A testament to how great it is.

This album is cohesive and produced well but it’s very safe. She is staying in her lane and unfortunately not taking the risks she did on sweetener and thank u next. At first the relationship was going really well and it ended up in marriage. By the end of their relationship being together (after having miscommunications/problems), a "situationship" was all that was left. Like they only keep each other around for certain things and the love they used to have from the beginning isn't there anymore; he changed, and she decides she has to make the decision to leave.

I think Ordinary Things is a perfect outro: it's a concluding daydream tethered to wisdom, where she finds closure with reflecting and contemplating what healthy romantic love should look like. And we as people have such a tendency to overcomplicate things to force things to work that shouldn't sometimes, and Nonna reminds us to go back to basics - if you can't easily resolve conflict and kiss each other goodnight, that speaks volumes as to how good it really is.
I love that Ariana is bringing back bridges. People have stopped adding bridges to their songs and it’s been something that’s lacking in so much music that’s been produced lately. All the songs in this album feels complete and the use of bridges contributes to that

6:14 (Don't Wanna Break Up Again) So the way I interpreted what she meant by "situationship" is this is what the relationship turned into and ended in. At first the relationship was going really well and it ended up in marriage. By the end of their relationship being together (after having miscommunications/problems), a "situationship" was all that was left. Like they only keep each other around for certain things and the love they used to have from the beginning isn't there anymore; he changed, and she decides she has to make the decision to leave.

@@catalinatomasini8386 yeah Bye and Don't Wanna Break Up Again are paired together. It's just a human thing to have different emotions and thoughts towards one thing. So Bye was like "at least we tried, didn't we?" and Don't Wanna Break Up Again was like "but u didn't even try! I did all the work!". You can have conflicting feelings about something that are total opposite from each other but in the end, they're still valid and real emotions.
It was truly a joy watching you throughly enjoy this album. I felt like I was hearing it for the first time again❤

I think Ordinary Things is a perfect outro: it's a concluding daydream tethered to wisdom, where she finds closure with reflecting and contemplating what healthy romantic love should look like. And we as people have such a tendency to overcomplicate things to force things to work that shouldn't sometimes, and Nonna reminds us to go back to basics - if you can't easily resolve conflict and kiss each other goodnight, that speaks volumes as to how good it really is.
I love that Ariana is bringing back bridges. People have stopped adding bridges to their songs and it’s been something that’s lacking in so much music that’s been produced lately. All the songs in this album feels complete and the use of bridges contributes to that
