It was without doubt one of the best games on the system. I wrote to the programmers regarding the sequel as at the time the CD32 was supposed to be getting it, they had no firm release date but they were kind enough to write me a letter back and sent me a poster, good times, your lucky if you get a pre-typed email back off a Franchise/Company these days.
Nice to see games forA system I never had or even ever played , That Frontierer Game sounds fantastic, Loved the huge map and that music did make me chuckle, Definitely of it's time, I hope you're having a wonderful weekend mate
You can get Frontier and ELITE Dangerous its sequel on the PC fairly cheaply if you wanted to play it. Had a fairly quiet weekend but that was the plan, I am going to go to the Card Shop for some Pokémon Cards in a bit, they do 100 random cards for £10, and generally you do get a few really good ones so it's worth it, plus it's a fun gamble and £10 who cares, after that I am watching the Liverpool game and I'll likely just play some of my untouched PC Engine games that I bought but I've yet to play due to my stay in Hospital which is when I went eBay crazy out of boredom, I spent about £3,000 on gaming stuff and other than the GAMEBOY games that I played whilst in there the console stuff remained at my Dads house till I got out and it was quite the car boot filler, so plenty to get through, both random and good, I am looking forward to playing Cosmic Fantasy 2, it's got solid reviews and looks like a great RPG.
I own more games than eBay, who da man! Not more Playstation than Marathon Gaming though, that is a beast collection, to be honest I started flogging stuff I wasn't playing a while back, if it was sat there doing sod all, it's still more than I'll ever need but every game on the shelf's is something I could grab and play over and over without tiring of it or in the case of an RPG which I usually flog on completion, if they have muliple endings, paths or just great gameplay I'll likely play them yearly, I don't have a huge RPG collection for said reason, I've plenty of fighters, arcade shooters and strategy games though.
It's really good, and legit' funny in some parts, the puzzles are do-able to, I completed this pre-internet without any help, I got stuck once, I had no idea what to use the extra strong mint on, I went back months later and just tried it on absolutely everything and it was fairly obvious after, I'd be interested to see if that puzzle has you stumped.
@@9ElevenGamer That's good to hear cause I'm pretty dumb sometimes!😂 Some of those games are crazy hard with the puzzles, I'll let you know when I start playing it!
I wonder if anyone has visited every space station/planet on that game there may be one out there that sells Double Decker's for next to nothing, then all I need do is hyperspace jump back to Earth and sell the bastards at a huge profit, that's just the type of capitalistic bastard I am... Yeah right I hate the fact money controls most of us to a great degree, I'd go off the grid but I'd be bored shitless and it's not exactly sociable, I might give it a whirl one day for a 6 month period and see if it's as freeing as some people say.
@@9ElevenGamer Its a big area to cover but would be worth it for the Cadbury’s fingers at a fraction of the price, honestly mate going of the grid does sound appealing tbh, away from the rats & street urchins,i reckon i could do it 👊🏻
It'd be ideal with some mates on a free or super cheap plot of land with a few Caravan's or decent Tent's, I'd be sorted with just my GAMEBOY and a box of batteries, a Football and a Skateboard (I'd build a mini half-pipe). @@Gold2thGaming
I remember us selling the PC port of Simon back when I worked in retail along with the sequel 😂 Syndicate on the Mega Drive is on my to play list! Great choices, I didn’t recognise the others but they looked good!
Syndicate on the MD isn't the AMIGA one sadly, it's okay, but if you've played the AMIGA one you'd see it as a poor substitute with bad controls due to it being a Mouse based game, if you've not played the AMIGA version however you can go in with an open mind, it's not bad it's a sort of 7/10 game, but you never know if you've not played the latter you might love it, and arcade strategy games aren't something you get much of on older consoles.
Love collecting for the cd32, simon the sorcerer is my all time favourite.
