I wanted to log it all with the prices anyway and figured why not share it so people not in the know could get a feel for what a great system it is, it's a good mix of what you'd find on Nintendo and SEGA at the time, with some really nice arcade ports and system exclusives.
@@bundjohn Give it an emulate, I can give you some recommendations if your after a specific style of game, it's not all shooters despite what you see and hear, that said there are a ton on it and most are great especially the KONAMI, NAMCO and NEC AVE's (CAPCOM & SEGA) arcade conversions.
Cheers mate 👍awesome collection of probably my favourite system. Need to use this as a reference to fill in some of the gaps in my collection. Final soldier is great I agree. Keep on gaming 👍
It's cool that Final Soldier is still around £40-50, I don't like spending over £100 but some are actually worth it when I count the hours I've got out of them, it would have cost way more to complete them in the arcades that's for sure.
Superb collection Ste! Didn’t realise you had so many one on one fighters. Completely agree about super adventure island 👌. And cheers for the mentions 😄
No worries you did me a great service sending Volfied my way I might have ignored it had you not, it's one of my favorites at present especially on the GT, I even grabbed a spare copy to keep with it for on the go, I'll see what I can do about sorting out a hi-score next time I have a session and wing it your way.
Cheers, there aren't many left now that I am all that desperate for, or are worth over £100 especially not on a CD, HU Cards I don't mind the cost as much as they aren't a worry if you look after them.
It's my favorite, it has some of the best arcade ports out there, a lot of which the NES, SNES and MEGADRIVE didn't, not that I don't have games for those machines as well, I just have a lot more on the PC Engine/CD, I guess that explains why I prefer it.
@@nintendive Yeah man, that thing is a work of art, I don't have one yet... I've an RX and a GT, I have eyed up a few in the past and have been very close to purchase, I'd like it to have had its capacitors replaced and the board/screen have had a good check over though before shelling out the £800+ I expect to pay, maybe one day the dream will come true.
@@9ElevenGamer I was after an LT for years, gave up trying to find one for a decent price, ended up buying a complete in box one with the caps replaced. I won’t say what I paid for it, I wish it was 800 quid lol.
Cheers mate, I started slowly collecting for it seriously about 4 years ago, not going crazy, just one wild purchase every other month that I'd generally tried out prior if possible, as well as a few gambles that were either brilliant or too Japanese heavy to be playable, the cool thing with this system though is that you generally get back what you paid if you've grabbed something your not keen on, so there's never really any loss.
Thanks, did you spot any games you think I am missing that don't cost way over my £100 price limit? I'll likely get Flash Hiders next it's a 1-on-1 fighter with RPG type upgrades for Offense, Defense and Speed after winning each fight, that's rocking the £40-£60 price range.
Thanks for watching and Merry Xmas if you bother with it, I wonder if I'll find one of the missing PC Engine games from this collection under the tree this year.
It’s awesome to see the collection after we talked about it and you said you were making this video 😊

@ to be fair it’s a console I know little about as I’ve never played one and only learnt of it in the last couple of years on TH-cam!

Nice collection.
PC Engine is the most underrated retro console imo.

@ It’s all that and the Shmups for me. Plus the LT is my favourite retro console and piece of retro tec.
