    Phil Collins will always be the man. So glad Nicholas is keepin the Collins tradition alive. Nicholas is a really solid, professional drummer! Super talented. I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

    Only one word needed ..... LEGEND 😎 The chance for Phil and Nic to be touring together is 10/10 PRICELESS. This is living life to the fullest no matter what gets in the way. Good on ya lads 👍🏻 🤟🏻 😊 😎 Phil doesn’t need to prove that he’s one of the best drummers in the world, he’s already done that for decades, what he’s doing now is providing a global platform for Nic, inspiration and the ability to show that when life’s trials get in the way find a way to keep doing the things you love. My respect always Phil, thanks for all the great tunes, YOU ROCK 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻😎

    I think most of you are missing the point of this whole post. 1st and foremost, Phil Collins my not have that much more time on Earth and/or may not be able to perform like he did ever again even though he's able to go on performing currently. More than likely he will improve somwhat with time but can only go so far. I would like to be positive but also realistic. He is sharing a time with his son on stage in front of millions of people actually saying good bye and thank you all at the same time. The fact that the drummer is not perfect is not important. We should be happy that he's able to share the spotlight with his son and continue giving lifelong memories as well as the gift that he was given when he was young. He's happy and lucky that he can still give some type of performance and share it with his son who is supporting him. This is giving us a final chance to see him for people who have longed to see him for a long time, as well as give a chance to people who were never able to see him in the flesh. This is his way of being grateful at giving back. He doesn't need the money, hes made it 10 fold. He's doing what he loved and loves doing and will keep doing it as long he I can. I think he deserves more respect than we're given him on this post by giving a thumbs down or negative response to his sons playing or the video in general. His son will improve over time and is fairly young. Most kids may be able to perform some what better, but they're not able to perform to thousands if not millions of people going around the world on the schedule they have and can not begin to repeat all the great things he's experiencing under the conditions. He is very fortunate to be able experience this along with his father still alive under the circumstances at such a young age. We should savor that we were able to see Phil and celebrate him and his son on stage together. Thank you Phil, for the music and memories, and thank you to the contributor of this video for sharing.

      You sound like hes on h is death bed mate , like WTF ? ,far from it .Buddy Rich was still rocking the drums at 69 years old.Chester Thompson is still drumming & he is Phil's age ( or there about's ).Phil Collins will never say goodbye unless he dies in his sleep or a road accident.Music is his l ife , he will continue to go on stage until the day he dies.True musicians are like that you see.

    • @avh700
      @avh700 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@gary9432 I agree but, due to to certain circumstance he almost retired for good because, now overcoming his illness with hard work and lots of money he's still partially paralyzed even thew his though he's not showing. Hence the term 'Not dead yet tour'. You forget he almost stopped a few years ago? We got lucky. The man won't tell all in business, but we almost lost him
      My point is to celebrate the man while he's happy to still perform and be alive and witness his son make him proud in good health and not to disrespect the man by commenting negativity while hes having a moment with his son. Please fully read all the comments.

      @@SoldatDeRigel You know this is a subjective opinion, right? I'm not convinced on Nic's skills yet, but his Phil has certainly earned his place among the rock greats. Many of the best drummers out there consistently cite him one of their favorites and a big influence. I'll take their word over yours.
      You should go back and listen to some of his 1970's work. Before he turned into a pop star, he was one of the greatest progressive rock drummers alive, and he also dipped his toes into jazz-fusion (Brand X) and did really well there, too.
      Listen to Dance on a Volcano (studio version) by Genesis and see if you can even identify all the time signatures he bounces through. And then Nuclear Burn by Brand X.

    Honest, I didn't recognize Phil Collins straight away. He looks much older than 68.

      Well, Phil Collins always seemed more mature than his actual age. No surprise the trend continues.

    I wanted to see him , he'd been in Seattle n Tacoma I think but not near E.Washington . I knew I'd be in a line for hours n then ppl would stay all night at ticket masters to get a close up. But i would of if he came to Spokane near Idaho. Would love to see his son Nicolas or Nic.❤😘😘😘😘😘 but I dont think he came here bc we didn't our arena until the 2000s n our Coliseum was to small for anyone this big. Then afterward Elton John was to come x2 n he was great..for 4 straight hours he played now we have this big arena n no one comes n many retired. But our casinos get alot of ppl.
