Tenshi Rōzu Well, Riven is quite a frustrating champion though, and especially the people that play her. Riven has currently one of the highest leave ratios out of all of the champions.

And from that day on almost no darius was seen anywhere. this was imo one of the sickest overreactions i ever saw in the league. i even tried him out a little later and he pwned exactly as he did before the nerf. the rework now was exactly what he needed: delay on q so he doesnt poke you to hell and back

I remember when Xin Zhao came out, didn't buy any starting items, just rushing BF (1850G at that time) his E+Q combo would instantly kill anyone in the game... Or Kog'Maw with Madreds late game... damn I sometimes miss the good ol' days!
I love how the 'top 10 most overpowered releases' always only have 5 champions in common, which were champions that shaped the meta with just their release (leblanc and xin always being very high up). Many other lists have more season 3 champions with high damage so it's refreshing to see someone who values utility a lot more than damage. As a support main, this is the list I agree with the most, even though I would have placed ekko at 9 and shen at 10.

Rek'Sai had high damage and ratios, very high mobility, one knockup with an on-target cooldown. The main reason rek'sai was so strong on release was her ultimate. No one knew how to take down the tunnels or what they did. No one took the 0.5 seconds to destroy them. I main rek'sai and right now even in ranked games I can see someone on my tunnel and they will not destroy them. There is always 1 person who destroys them as much as possible but I still have tunnels in all four corners of the jungle at any time in the mid to late game.
What about Orianna on her release? I wasn't playing the game back then, but if I remember correctly, she was so powerful she had a 100% ban rate in lcs. Or was it in beta?
Rek'sai first release was like really what she is in the intro; A FUKIN' MONSTER. I mean I got a pentakill right after I bought. Her Q + R is insane and her E with full fury literally dealt tons of damage
i can't remember if it was beta or s1, but nasus was releases with AP scale of his ult bugged dealing 1% Total HP damage for 1 AP he had, you only needed to get about 200 AP or some Magic pen. and start to kill the enemy team by getting closer to then.
In my opinion you forgot Rengar, I remember the time where he completly oneshotted someone with level 1 if he had 4 stacks on Ferocity and then just spammed q
Yasuo could have replaced Ekko imo, his ult range was bugged and allowed him to blink ridiculous distances as well as his passive being an easy to charge barrier.
I feel release yasuo could of been added. A flow shield that seemed to always be their (for it always was) Es that would help restore your shield Better damage A ult that could one shot, no follow up combo required He actually had a health bar
The problem with XIn was that ult even better than Jax one. You could tank all the other team just building like an assasin and hitting champs like a God. That was ridiculous! But well, champs released on beta were even more ridiculous (I played on closed beta).
What about Jax, Kha'Zix and Yasuo? Since Jax released, he won 120 matches without losing. Kha'Zix first matches as the junger, he ganked very powerful. Yasuo was strong when he had 90% critical attack.
Rengar was OP asf, but Aatrox got released way more OP than even Xin Zhao. Aatrox was like a Sion with Anivia's passive and Tryndamere's Bloodlust, he ravaged and carried every lane, and could do every role including bot lane as Melee Carry or even AD Support. Aatrox was the apex predator of OPness when he got released that they had to nerf it over and over. Also, there's no Irelia on the vid. True Damage was so OP that the meme "Nerf Irelia" became real every patch.
Wait, was Warrior ever changed? I've been here since those items came out, but don't recall warrior ever needing a nerf. Cinderhulk just came in, and then Runglaive and Sated Devourer, and make the stats of the warrior enchantment obsolete. Correct me if I'm wrong, please guys.

u forgot about twitch on releases. This rat gets average KDA at 20 :) . 1 min invisible + 1k range ult with all on hits effects and 200 or 250% normal damage. With infinity edge hes could crits for 450% or 500% damage. Also shaco and his 2 lvl 500 damage crits ( with 100% chance) was rly op. Shaco goes for full crit damage runes ( almost +50% start), red damage potion for start (+20 ad) and red buff. Then lvl 2 gank mid + ignate = 100% kill. In this time averge shaco start game with 3:0 and snowbaling it hard. Also do not forget about jax and dodge mechanic. sorry for my english.
On release mordekaiser was completely broken... If the jungle didn't camp his lane he would farm almost 100% cs with his clear... when he had 2-3 itens he could 1v5 the whole other team because of his super op shield.

Yep darius release OP where you can pull every enemy into your base and release TF was the most OP champ before because of the AOE stun, world wide ultimate and his passive that give your team crit chance
What about Eve? I don't know the time frame, was she a beta champ? I just know that she was insane back when she had a stun, and was so strong that Riot nerfed her into "Unplayable levels". The only champ they've ever admitted to nerfing to the point where they were unbalanced and left intentionally way weaker than the others. Yep darius release OP where you can pull every enemy into your base and release TF was the most OP champ before because of the AOE stun, world wide ultimate and his passive that give your team crit chance

I just know that she was insane back when she had a stun, and was so strong that Riot nerfed her into "Unplayable levels". The only champ they've ever admitted to nerfing to the point where they were unbalanced and left intentionally way weaker than the others.
