  • Over-the-counter sauce that can be picked up locally at most grocery stores. Does it have the sweet heat it says it does??

    Tiger sauce is not intended to be a a hot sauce. It is a finishing sauce, though it can also be used as a marinade. It should be compared to A1 or Heinz 57 or any other steak sauce or finishing sauce.
    I love Tiger sauce, I also love hot sauce but they are not the same thing. Instead of comparing it to Tabasco, compare it A1, 57, or even Pickapeppa Sauce.

      Yeah, I agree. Kinda reminds eminds me of pickapepper sauce

      Ok it taste like crap compared to A1 and Heinz. It has a high vinegar content and it ruins it for me. Lots of people like it that don’t mean I have to.

    This has a nice little kick to me. I use this for dipping my dumplings or gyoza. I add a little gochujang to kick up the heat and add a little more umami.

      @PlanktoniusRex 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Tiger Sauce is good but NOWHERE near 50k. It is between catsup and hot BBQ sauce. It is one of the most mild hot sauces that exists. No idea where you come up with your assessment.

    Tiger sauce is a star attraction for many as Frank's has very little depth but we all love Frank's. Tiger sauce gets the greatest reaction ever if you know what your doing good by itself but when used as a medium with other componites the elevation of enjoyment runs off the charts . Try me a few ways and then you might be able to give its just do. You need to shake it just before you apply. Novice. With all those ingredients they settle quickly if you haven't noticed in fact it is self explanatory by sight. It's that ovious it settles in split second. Get it got it good

    I couldn't tell any heat in this sauce. So, I added two dabs of Da Bomb "Beyond Insanity" to the bottle. Now, it is tasty, sweet heat and better (fun). Da Bomb has no flavor just heat to me. So, I found a dissent use for it...a heat additive.

    • @CravingCapsaicin

    The tamarind and vinegar are the predominant flavors. There's a bit of heat, but not enough to call it a hot sauce. It's okay on garlic noodles or in ramen, but it's not going to add anything to meat or chicken.

    Lol, I think you're leaving people with a bad flavor profile descriptor of what the sauce is. It's not a vinegar-based style sauce, at least not a strong one like Tabasco, Texas Pete, or red hot. It's supposed to be a sweet red pepper sauce oh, and it actually has a pretty unique flavor to it although it's not hot if you're a chili head it's plenty hot for non chili heads. I think it has its place in certain foods, and you can actually make some pretty bomb beef jerky with it.
