I failed 1st attempt in usmle step1 but yes there is a legitimate reason fir that to happen and if i score really good in step 2 ck will interviewers consider reading through my application? to get an interview

Congratulations on completing Step 2 CK. Only 1 exam doesn’t define you. Focus on other steps, clinical experience and research experience which will be important.
