I loved your little rant. You are so right that if all you sew is a pillowcase you are a sewer. Puppies are really hard. I feel for you. This is a hobby!
Hi Viv from NC. Its 2:15 pm. I lost my husband 4 wks ago. My life has changed . I have looked forward to this Aug. 23 sew video a long time. You and your ViV Sews have been a God Send. Thank You from my heart.❤ Myra
Myra, I am so sorry for your loss💔It is just horrible to say goodbye to a life partner. Thinking of you, and saying prayers that you’ll find supernatural peace in the assurance that you will see your husband again. I believe it with all my heart. Thanks for writing.
Also, you are 100% correct, we are home sewers regardless of what we gravitate to create or pretentious opinion on the sewing sites. Everyone has various preferences for what projects brings them joy when they sew. Imagine if people thought “home” sewers only did home-dec 😂.
Wow! 19 years!💔😢 I grieve with you. And go a head and grieve. Your dog came along at the right time, but will not take the place of your cat. Talking about your clothes 😂😂😂😂! Happens. You go girl keep up your videos the way you want them! When you put yourself out there you get all kinds of comments, you know that. I have dogs and currently I am fostering some puppies. Just a little way to help. Makes life even busier with a full time job! You take care and glad to see another video. Take a look at those clothes and just have a good laugh for me!❤️😂
That comment about home sewers fried my chicken! I have not made jeans, nor pants ( Idon’t count the clown pants I made in home ec class circa 1971!) I sew what brings me joy. Jackets, vests, dresses, leggings, sweatshirts, dolls, doll clothes, stuffed animals etc. Whew, thanks for letting me unload. Let’s not be sewing snobs people. Those dresses you made are fabulous, thanks for sharing your makes with us. Welcome to dog mom world Viv.
Whhaatt!! Have to make jeans!! My grandmother, who was born in 1896, NEVER had on a pair of pants in her WHOLE life of 93 years! She sewed lots of flower sack dresses for her girls, during The Depression. I guess you could call her a home sewist. I love the bright floral dress!!
Great Clothes! The gauze red dress draped beautifully, pretty. I liked the jewel tone blouse best with your wrapped skirt, gorgeous color combo! The border top would look great with those sassy jeans! The challis dress looked fabulous, love it. They all were A1 makes! Congratulations on the new pup, remember she is a “teenager”, she will mature beautifully. She will be a great family member!❤
Viv, thank you for sticking up for us home sewers. I don't make jeans. I cut jeans up, and make other things with the jean fabric. I think that makes me fun home sewer. Luv your recent makes, including your jeans 👖.
Lovely Video Viv as always. You are so enthusiastic about your clotges that you have made. It is very infectious! Keep sewing! 🧵🧵🧵 ✂️✂️✂️. I dont blame you having a go at tge person who wrote to you about " you are not a sewer if you havent sewn jeans !!!! Grrrrrrr ! You are definitely a sewer Viv. Love your clothes! Any kind of crafting is sewing ! Making things by hand with a sewing needle. Or using a sewing machine! It is definitely being a sewer ! You go viv ! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Xx Hope we can see your new puppy soon as well as more of your cat. ( I love cats and dogs ! I have two cats , they are sisters )
There always has to be someone who has to make themselves feel better by making Snyde comments. You are an awesome sewer. Don't pay attention to her. Your makes always look great!!! ❤❤
Hi Viv, love all the items in this video…everything fits you so well and look fabulous on you…hang in there with the pup. I have a rescued 95 lb. GSD and she’s been here long enough now to relax by me when I’m at my sewing machines. You are doing a great job with these videos!
Congrats on your shepherd, db! Zinnia seems to love the sound of my machines - they lull her somewhat, plus she knows I’m nearby. But she’s not allowed in my studio. We just have a baby gate and the couch as blockades - she could easily leap either one, so I appreciate that she doesn’t. Building trust has been very gratifying; I’m sure we’ve made a lot of mistakes, but she absolutely knows that we adore her!
Precious!! I love all your outfits!! How clever to take a dress and make it a top!!!! I can not believe someone would say, you aren't a seamstress if you haven't made jeans!!! I have been sewing since I was 9 and I am 62 now, yall do the math!!!! Anyway, I just recently made some jeans!!!! LOL!!!!! Thank you for your expert advice on the patterns!!!!
Viv, you are the best! Rescuing a dog is so worth it. Our rescue is almost 14 now and we love her dearly. She was a lot of work in beginning but the love she has returned has been wonderful. Love that material on the first dress. Love everything you make! So enjoy watching your videos!❤ Great idea cutting down dress for a blouse bec like that v neckline. Yes, cut off another two inches.
Hi Viv. Anne here from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. So glad you are doing well. Thank you for rescuing the puppy. Your life will never be dull, that’s for sure. But oh, you will have so much unconditional love. I look forward to seeing your videos and your gorgeous creations. I need videos like yours to get my sewing mojo back. I am 68 and want to accomplish so much but it seems days just disintegrate before my eyes! Keep up your fantastic work and know that you reach so many people who absolutely love you!!!
Thank you Anne! You’re not alone with days evaporating. So many ideas, so little execution (for me, anyway.) But scheming is almost as rewarding as creating. And you’re right: life is not dull these days!😄
Viv, I like the dresses, skirts and tops you made. Very good fabric choices. I am glad Zinnia is adapting to her new home. She is going to be great company.
I was so happy to see you, Viv, and I, as always, was so appreciative of your commentary. BUT THEN ZIG MADE AN APPEARANCE!!!!!! Oh, my gosh, that made me so happy. I called everyone at my church to tell them they could actually see that cat we were praying for a few years ago. He looks great. He doesn't have to bother with his new sister if he doesn't want to. He deserves his peace.
Oh my gosh, this is beyond precious! Thank you for praying for Zig, the Lord indeed heard those prayers and gave Zig even MORE lives to live before the end. I am so humbled and grateful that you had church friends praying, too. Thank you thank you thank you!!❤️
Love your August makes! I do think the 2nd top you showed (the bordered fabric) looks best with the orange skirt…that lovely orange skirt. I think with the smaller pattern and not enough bright orange in the Liberty Tana top, it just didn’t go so well, exactly. But still like the top…just with something else. And for the jeans, I think you did a fabulous job! People can be so rude w/their comments. I’ve never attempted them-and never will. A Husky puppy? 😮😮 Oh my! Beautiful dogs! Had one many years ago and they’re a super handful…but glad to hear things are settling down. And big mistake we made; not giving her very structured and early obedience training. The word is that with their typically high intelligence and perhaps wolf ancestry (same for Malamutes) that’s higher than other dogs…that if they don’t get early training, they really don’t respect their humans (they love you and are very sweet and affectionate, but…) and will behave more like cats in terms of obedience….kind of like …you want me to do what? Ok, well, I’ll have to think about that. 😊 And Happy B’day to Zig…wow 19, wonderful! Take care. 👍
Haha I totally get it, Nancy, regarding huskies. She was acting up last night, wouldn’t settle for sleeping. Now, we exercise this pup religiously, multiple times throughout the day - there’s no need for her to be hyper at bedtime, but she was. We told her she’d have to go downstairs and sleep in her house. Brad took her down, put her in, and sure enough she starts wailing. I came downstairs - I was only silhouetted by a small backlight - stood still, put my hands on my hips and breathed deeply. I said nothing. Oh my, did she knock it off. It kinda made me feel great!! So maybe she’s gotten the memo on respect - who knows at this point. She was quiet as a mouse and when I let her out I only said “upstairs for night night,” and up she went, curled up on her bed in our room and we didn’t hear a peep out of her until the lovely (ha!) 6:30 AM wake up whine. We have another session with a private trainer on 9/2, need some more guidance on using the Martingale collar. Honestly I don’t think we could love her more - puppy behavior and all!🤪
When you make baby clothes, Barbie clothes, prom dresses, outfit a full wedding party, beauty pageant gowns, underwear, curtains for your home, lined coats, and dog coats like I have, are you a home sewer. You betcha I am!
Welcome to dog ownership! I have 2 dogs and never realized just how much work and care they require - just like human children. Never a dull moment! Yes, I have baby gates also, which is a drag. Maybe after your puppy gets past the teething/gnawing stage (~1 yr), you might be able to open up your house. Unfortunately, I can't. On to the rude comment re: you haven't sewn jeans before: I use to make I own tops and pants (all with waistbands and zippers) starting back in the late 1970's, but never once did I make a pair of pants with denim material. Over the decades I've made curtains, pillow cases, Halloween costumes, children's clothes, women's tops, bottoms and shorts, men's shirts, craft projects, hemmed countless pairs of pants and made oodles of clothing repairs but I've never made a pair of denim pants. I guess that also qualifies me as not a real "home sewer" either. Who knew?!?! 🤣 Obviously, this opinionated elitist reviewer has her own definition of what a sewist is and it doesn't appear to be very accurate based on the majority of sewists' channels on YT. Glad you're back and sewing again, Viv. You've been very missed, but so glad you took time off for yourself! ❤
Your kitty stole my heart. Our kitty-Stipes is also 19 years old, and with several health issues. Love your makes and congrats on making Jeans! A front zip is not easy-making a front zipped pair of shorts now, so have struggled with that zip. Have soooooooooooooooo missed your videos.
Thanks for showing us The Zigster. I remember praying for him a few years ago! Love him❤ I have no desire to sew jeans when I can buy them. I don't care what anyone says!😊😊😊😊
I’m so grateful for those prayers for Zig!! He’s still with us, maybe a bit diminished in his judgment (or just royally miffed at the acquisition of Zinnia) ~ he’s made a few... mistakes in our powder room and now it is lined with Chux... thank the Lord for Chux. But Zig is still my crown prince and I’m so overjoyed that we’ve gotten to enjoy him all these years!💕
Viv, " I don't want to do problem solving!" So funny. Me neither. Nothing worse than getting into it and feeling like you need more fabric. You did well. Unless told, you would never know! Great outfits! Hope your life finds a "fall rhythm with your newest family member! ❤
Thank you for sharing. It's always good to watch your videos. It sounds like your puppy is like having a new baby. Just keep telling yourself, "Each day is getting easier." 😄 That's what I'm doing with my 6mo old. Good luck! 😂
Congrats on your baby, makeitjoyful! Motherhood is the hardest job I’ve ever loved to my core... “the days are long but the years are short.” Sorry to come out with these corny maxims but they really sum it up. Enjoy that sweet baby!💕
So true! My son is already 3, and I can't believe it! I feel grateful no one in my household is disturbing beehives though! Yikes! I can just imagine what your cats are saying about your new family member behind your back! 😂
Watching this again and like everything even more! The collection fabrics are so attractive and the garments are perfect on you. One of my favs in years of your podcasts!
You made my day! What a wonderful review of how🎉 to do creative sewing. I couldnt help but laugh over your new pups antics, that why we love them. Your cat is beautiful. Thanks again.
Hi Viv, my husband and I both grew up with dogs and have had 10 dogs in our 35 years of marriage. Our adult daughter rescued a Husky about a year ago and they are a wonderful but very unique breed which is not a usually recommended for first-time dog owners so bless you for rescuing her! Stick with her and she will be a loyal and entertaining companion.
Aw thanks. We kept running into dog owners who would laugh heartily when we told them we were first time dog owners and began with a Siberian Husky. Why were they laughing?? Well now we know!! And we laugh too!! I’m not sure if we chose Zinnia or she chose us, but I’m just glad it happened. We’ve fallen hopelessly in love.
😆 "A little like childbirth, all is forgiven." What can I say? I love all your makes❤ The gauze dress turned out beautiful, but I agree, next time just sew those ties into the side seams. The designer got carried away there with that back tie thing. You did a great job on your first pair of jeans. I was watching J. Stern. She was explaining that the yoke design in jeans is actually where the dart is located. I would never have guessed that at all. I have not been sewing much. I am knitting baby things as we have two new granddaughters. My son and his wife have three girls now. My daughter has a new daughter, and her oldest daughter just started high school. ❤ Love you Viv. Good to see you. I hope you get some sleep with your new baby.😊❤
I've sewed since I was 8 years old & am now a senior citizen. I'm also an award winning quilter & sewed my own wedding dress, but I've never sewn a pair of jeans. I would never be so snobbish & full of myself as to tell someone they weren't a real sewist as that ridiculously rude reviewer did!
I missed you. So good to see your name come up!!! Puppies are wonderful so glad it’s going better. Love your makes. My favorite was the shirt dress so pretty!!!!!😊
As a professional bridal seamstress a 3/8”-1/4” hems fold over nicer especially if there is any curve to the edge. I have found that with 5/8” the hem can start to wrinkle and waive. Just my experience. Your work is beautiful and inspiring. I always am inspired! Thank you!❤
Aw thank you Eileen! I think I was just overly annoyed by the weird back piece and then they switched up the seam allowance for the narrow hem. Certainly no big deal. Your compliment means a lot!😄
I am so glad that you did not agree with the woman who thought that all home sewers must make jeans. We must make whatever we want to make! Thank you for your viewpoint!!
That New Look shirt dress pattern looked dowdy, & then, Wow! That challis tropical fabric made it come alive! Great job!! The dress looks fabulous on you!
Mrs. Viv, your makes are lovely. The dresses are beautiful on you. Everything looks fabulous on you. Great looking jeans. According to the lady that said you aren't a home sewer if you haven't made jeans, you are now officially a home sewer!LOL
Oh....love your journey with Zinnia. Puppies are amazing. So glad you are back sewing...you were missed!!!!! Your makes were awesome. Love the first dress fabric and pattern choice! Just made for each other. Such happy, fabric!!! So glad to see smiling with puppy love. Oh...they go from new puppy to terrible twos to cantankerous teenage in a matter of months! Be prepared!!!!!😂
My daughter adopted a pup around Thanksgiving, she is half Great Pyrenees, 1/4 German Shepherd, 1/4 Belgian Maninois. She turned a year old in early August. She is HUGE, and an absolute handful! She is very sweet, but has certainly kept us hopping. She goes between the two homes, daughter lives next door. But it feels like not a single day goes by without her finding something to chew. The big best thing is she is not highly motivated to leave the yard. That was our biggest challenge with other daughter’s Husky, those dogs are runners and escape artists!
Ugh, they’re pretty awful now. I used to love the fact that HL discounted patterns, so that Joann wasn’t the only game in town. I realize that many, many folks around the world don’t have the pattern sales like the US, so it’s taking some gall on my part to even complain. But HL has swiftly gone downhill, making their fabric departments smaller and tossing out the pattern sales. Boo. On the other hand, welcome!😃
Lol puppies always create havoc, but the good thing is that you are home and not working! The outfits are adorable. I tried jeans for my husband and boy were they hard. I am sewing some quilts for my kids right now and am looking forward to sewing something for myself.
I really like the New Look shirt dreaa, the frantic is so nice too. The Orangeburg looks amazing with the second top, white background. All your makes are very nice
Hi Viv, you’ve certainly had your hands full the past few weeks, but I’m glad things are settling down a little more! It’s so good hearing your comments about the various patterns and seeing the end result really helps. They all look great on you, but I especially love the first dress - beautiful fabric! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
Jeans were beautiful on you! Some people make the most inappropriate comments! Try not to let them get into your head! Definitely shorten the top you wore with them. Good to see you again! Love your makes videos.
I rescued a Chihuahua/Miniature Pincher mix 4 months ago. I can related to how much time and effort a "new to you" dog takes. It's like having a small child in the house again, who does not understand English very well. Love the makes, Viv. I am glad you reviewed some of the same patterns I am thinking about sewing. Looking forward to your September makes.
“...a small child in the house again, who does not understand English very well.” Couldn’t have said it better myself! All the best to you, G’ma Joy, and your sweet new rescue!
I love what you have sewn regardless of what it is……and I very much look forward to yr videos on what’s good and not so good to do. Thank you for sharing, love and blessings!
I love everything you do. Thank you. We are doing hospice for an old chihuahua with no teeth-thank the heavens ! He thinks he is a St. Bernard. Touch him the wrong way and you feel his gums Lol ! Animals are wonderful for mental health. Hope to see and hear much more from you and does not have to be about sewing. Hope your sisters are back soon too !
Viv you are so stinkin precious! I would say those gorgeous dresses you sewed makes you more than a home sewer!! Everything looks great on you and you have charisma which I'll bet that rude lady doesn't have ❤
I love everything you made! But my favorite was the first dress. Loved the design/style and the fabric you used is gorgeous! And it looks fabulous on you! Thank you for sharing.
Well done, i loved every garment you sewed, especially the first dress, the fabric is just perfect for that style. Poor Zinnia with the ‘cone of shame’! Hope she recovers quickly from her surgery
You sew the cutest things !!! Love the fabric choices. I have never made jeans, they are too much work when you can find then on sale... but then again...
Great makes, Viv! I especially love the New Look shirt dress in dark background. The colors are amazing on you! Always love watching your videos. We all have crazy seasons in our lives!
Loved everything but especially that first dress, the New Look. All that walking has changed your figure, it really shows, you look leaner. I'm glad all went well with Zinnia's surgery. She will be a different dog in a month or so, much calmer.
What’s so interesting is that you were in a bit of a rut-sewing the same thing with different fabrics and patterns. These were all quite different. Great review as always.
Hi Viv, so nice to see a video. I had stepped away from you tube for awhile as I was spending too much time on sewing sites to the point I wasn't getting anything done! I'm back and am watching a few that I really love. Of course yours is one of them!! I may not comment much any more, but I'm always watching! All of your makes are beautiful! I especially love the shirt dress with the elasticated back, and pockets. Simply gorgeous!... Enjoy that Siberian Husky! We've had 7 dogs over the years, but never had a Siberian husky. They never seemed to be at the rescue centers when we went looking.😊
Bravo! Glad things are calming down. Bringing home a new puppy is like having a baby all over again - it's a lot! - but so worth it. Thanks for sharing. :)
I laughed so much when you said you’re not a problem solver! The moment sewing gets problematic I’m sick of it😂Your makes are all very nice. Good luck with your puppy 😊
Another great share of fabulous makes, Viv. I SMH with emboldened critiques like the home sewer comment you were targeted to receive. So happy that you put it all in the proper perspective. Also happy that the puppy and family are making good progress. I always look forward to your makes and your inspirational comments. Thank you.
I agree with you, if you sew you’re a seamstress in my book. I’ve never made jeans and I don’t know that I even want to. I always love your makes always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much.
You have inspired me. I have a wrap dress cut out. I just cut it out and quit. Dropped it cold. It’s ready to have interfacing cut and all darts, notches, dots, etc marked to get ready to sew. I think tomorrow I will be ready thanks to your enthusiasm. I’d start tonight but my sewing machine is unplugged because of hurricane Idalia however sometime tomorrow or this week I’ll sew for sure.
Aw, not really. She was potty trained within the first few days. She doesn’t chew things because we keep exercise Priority #1 (capitalized on purpose!) We spend a lot of time with her because we’re both here during the day. She gets field trips, car rides, long multiple walks, dips in the woods’ creek, baths, marrow bones, playtime with her best canine friend up the street. I don’t think dogs become destructive unless they’re bored or ignored - just my opinion, but we’ve found it to be true. We adore her!
I consider myself a home sewer because I do a variety of sewing projects including all types of clothing, quilting, pillow cases, placemats, napkins, Christmas tree skirts, etc! I have never made jeans! I love the first dress you showed the best! Gorgeous fabic and pattern. I love shirt dresses, but with my shape I wouldn’t put in the elastic at the waist, but I would make that pattern. I can’t get over how slim you are looking! You look beautiful! Good luck with your puppy. I have a 16 month old Pomeranian puppy who is a mess. I call him Piranha (his real name is Kai) and he’s a very large Pomeranian - 24 pounds! He has chewed up almost all my sandals, my readers, one pair of my prescription glasses, my ear buds, my husbands expensive flip flops and my son’s sandals. He’s settled down some but he’s still a wild boy. Good luck with Zinnia.😎
I have become such a fan! I am buying patterns and fabric and sewing for ME! Never done that before. I am almost 62 and have made two tops which I love to wear. So glad I found you. Have a great evening!
Oh that shirt dress was sooo lovely. I want to see the DOG!! That would be a nice addition to your channel. Just insert a short video of her that you took if she is too active to show in person. Brad will have to get a skateboard and have her pull him like Cesar does to wear off some of her energy. Gooooo Brad
So happy to see you again! Totally understand the raising of puppies and living in a gated home. Dogs are the best. Love your makes except the red gauze. That double back is weird. The tops are so cute. The showstopper dress is all that. wow
Another fabulous video, Viv! I'm glad you're all adjusting to having Zinnia. What a blessing that you rescued her. I love your floral New Look shirt dress! I have that pattern, and as usual, your make is so much better than the pattern cover!!! Wow! You're a knock out in that dress! All your makes look great. That one with the ties from the flap in back is definitely a unique construction that I haven't seen before. Have fun on your continuing adventures! You guys are doing great!
These are all beautiful makes!! I love the first dress and that orange wrap skirt with the short sleeved top we’re probably my favorites. It was good to see Zig and glad Zinnia is doing well post surgery. ❤
I loved your little rant. You are so right that if all you sew is a pillowcase you are a sewer. Puppies are really hard. I feel for you. This is a hobby!
You are such a charmer. I felt so uplifted during your whole presentation! You are good medicine . Please keep sewing and motivating us.

Pattern Scout has a jeans pattern. I haven’t made them, but I’d trust that her pattern is meticulous.
Myra, wishing you all the best following the loss of your husband.

Ok, well, I’ll have to think about that. 😊
And Happy B’day to Zig…wow 19, wonderful! Take care.
Honestly I don’t think we could love her more - puppy behavior and all!🤪
Thanks for defending us less adventurous and experienced home sewers!
When you make baby clothes, Barbie clothes, prom dresses, outfit a full wedding party, beauty pageant gowns, underwear, curtains for your home, lined coats, and dog coats like I have, are you a home sewer. You betcha I am!
Hooray!!! You are alive and well!!! Thank you thank you for coming back to us!!! Zinnia lives with cats, it’s amazing!!! I love you!
Well, they live together technically, but the cats have steadfastly refused to become Zinnia’s buddy. Baby gates rule this roost😭.
You are such a lively and cheerful LADY! Thank you!💝💐💝
Your kitty stole my heart.
Thanks Nikki!😄
I agree 100% also. It does not matter what you sew we are home sewers. This is my first time watching and I loved it. Beautiful clothes. Kathy
Welcome Kathy! So glad you’re here.😃
You made my day!
Amen Cathy!!👏👏
I missed you. So good to see your name come up!!! Puppies are wonderful so glad it’s going better. Love your makes. My favorite was the shirt dress so pretty!!!!!😊
Love watching your videos…and yes not everyone loves jeans…home sewing is to be enjoyed and that is most important…thank you for sharing ❤
You are as cute as a button! I have seen previous vides several years ago and am happy to see how you have continued to share!
The fabric choice that you chose for the first shirt dress is absolutely beautiful. ❤
Mrs. Viv, your makes are lovely. The dresses are beautiful on you. Everything looks fabulous on you. Great looking jeans. According to the lady that said you aren't a home sewer if you haven't made jeans, you are now officially a home sewer!LOL
I u your beautiful shirt dress. New Look 6651; also, the tank u Made, to go with our orange skirt, is gorgeous.
Your H0bby L0bby comment just won you a new subscriber - good luck with the new pup - get a good vacuum!
You look beautiful in that soft orange & fall colors! Wonderful garments! Thank you! Old Grandma❤
I really like the New Look shirt dreaa, the frantic is so nice too. The Orangeburg looks amazing with the second top, white background. All your makes are very nice
I was so excited to see a "makes" video posted! You didn't disappoint.
Good luck with your new family member
Hi Viv, you’ve certainly had your hands full the past few weeks, but I’m glad things are settling down a little more! It’s so good hearing your comments about the various patterns and seeing the end result really helps. They all look great on you, but I especially love the first dress - beautiful fabric! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
I watched your October video first then seen this one. I remember seeing past videos where Zig walks by. Pets are so much part of your family.❤
The jeans look great on you. You are an excellent seamstress.
I have a 5 year old chi pin and I can relate. She still has the energy of a puppy. Love her to pieces.
Excellent solution for the tie on your dress....great job.
What a precious old kitty! Just love watching you and your creations. Thank you.
We home sewists have choices to make whatever we want. If I don't want to make jeans so what! I'm going to keep sewing 😅😊
What’s so interesting is that you were in a bit of a rut-sewing the same thing with different fabrics and patterns. These were all quite different. Great review as always.
Watched the vid again today -- in your thumbnail you look like a 20 something! Lookin' fit! Love the border print top and the 6394 most.
Thanks Lana! I so appreciate you being here. Comments or no comments, my viewers are the best!💕
Bravo! Glad things are calming down. Bringing home a new puppy is like having a baby all over again - it's a lot! - but so worth it. Thanks for sharing. :)
I would love to see her, your new baby girl.
Hi kmgothi! She’s all over my Instagram account if you want to see over there... my page is called Vivmom Sews😄
It's Always " Sew Nice " to hear from you again!! You bring Joy to Sewing!! God Bless you😀😀😀
I laughed so much when you said you’re not a problem solver! The moment sewing gets problematic I’m sick of it😂Your makes are all very nice. Good luck with your puppy 😊
I’ll raise my kombucha in a toast with you, Ruth! I’ll drink to that!!
@@vivmomsews4962😊😂
Another great share of fabulous makes, Viv. I SMH with emboldened critiques like the home sewer comment you were targeted to receive. So happy that you put it all in the proper perspective. Also happy that the puppy and family are making good progress. I always look forward to your makes and your inspirational comments. Thank you.
I agree with you, if you sew you’re a seamstress in my book. I’ve never made jeans and I don’t know that I even want to. I always love your makes always look forward to your videos. Thank you so much.
A busy life is a good one!!!! I am happy that you are enjoying your new pup!!!! I love the liberty fabric up close and far away!!!!
Yes! Get back to it and show it who’s boss. At the end of the road you’ll have a lovely, handmade dress. 100% worth it!😃
You do make me laugh at your spontaneous joy when a pattern includes pockets! 😅 ... It's a joy for us to have uou back srwing again. ❤
If you have never had a dog and now you have a dog like this that you keep in your house! U r in for many destructive surprises
Sending you puppy-rearing fortitude and strength, Diane!!💕
I have become such a fan! I am buying patterns and fabric and sewing for ME! Never done that before. I am almost 62 and have made two tops which I love to wear. So glad I found you. Have a great evening!
Go Sharon!! It’s time for YOU.
The first dress you showed, the blue printed shirt dress is GORGEOUS!!!!
Love them all! Puppies are lots of work!
Vivzy❤❤❤ thanks for posting, love to see how you’re doing xxoo
You did an awesome job with all of the clothes you made.😊
Love the fabric on the first dress. It looks beautiful on you!
I agree!...(she's absolutely stunning!) ...it would be a favourite all year long, not just summer!....lol
Love looking at what you sew, and you chat like you can see us individually.
Aw thanks. I’m so honored to be “invited” into everyone’s homes😄
Great to have you back 🎉
Good to see you back--looking forward to seeing you more often. ...so sew creative! until next time.
Great shirt dress! Love it. Puppies are like having a baby all over again. lol Lots of fun though. Your jeans are great.
I love Zenyas name...you need to make her some dresses and tootoos. My Roxy girl looks so cute in hers and enjoys wearing them.
Oh boy, only on the first item.... the dress and I love it and want the pattern 😲
I like the orange skirt much better with the second top. The first one needs something more subtle.
So happy to see you! And Zinnia is so wonderful!
These are all beautiful makes!! I love the first dress and that orange wrap skirt with the short sleeved top we’re probably my favorites. It was good to see Zig and glad Zinnia is doing well post surgery. ❤
