@@alexlackner1945 We agree that Tommy Paul has areas to improve, but we can't overlook that in recent months he has played against Top 10 players and won. Not to mention right now, he defeated two Top 10 players, including Medvedev, one of the best, and Hurkacz a great striker. I believe By improving his backhand techniques and his serve, he will have many elements to be and compete among the Top 10.

@@Guilles85 don't get me wrong i love Tommy Paul's game, especially his recent net rushing tactics in Indian Wells inspired by watching the serve & volley greats. But neither Medwedew nor Hurkacz would be Top 10 if more tournaments were played on clay. It remains to be seen how he handles the bigger hitters, such as Jarry tonight. Clay doesn't allow you to use the opponent's pace as much either, and he struggles to generate pace.
