Ymir excruciatingly sculpting the titans for eternity while Fritz’s monologue played over it was terrifying. And for multiple reasons, actually. A villain's monologue about world domination is pretty generic stuff, but this monologue is encouraging his daughters to begin a tradition of cannibalism of family members, where children eat their parents' bodies to get the power to become giant monsters, giving their empire the strength to conquer all of humanity and enslave them, and it all happens while it's revealed that Ymir is cursed to forever build every single titan from clay in a netherworld where time barely moves. When Fritz says it'll happen for eternity, we understand that Ymir has to build the titans for eternity, just to satisfy Fritz's endless call for more power

There is no going back from this. All the walls in Paradis have crumbled. There are no walls in Attack on Titan anymore. 2000 Years in the making, and Isayama's writing finally paid off. Let that fact sink in. And to think there is more to come. From episode 1 "To You, in 2000 Years" to "From You, 2000 Years Ago" finally came to light and is in the books of history. If you think about it, the Attack Titan represents Ymir's will to want to be her. Unreal.

That "Devil" with which Ymir made the pact looks a lot like the Attack Titan (Eren). In addition, Marley apparently portrayed Ymir as "making a pact with the Devil" in their propaganda, hence, referring to her subjects as Devils. So, that "Devil and Ymir" image has a double-meaning that fits both dynamic. Brilliant.
Someone also picked up that there were 13 people pointing at Ymir when that ratted her out to the King. Makes you wonder if that is symbolic of the 13-year Titan life span.
I remember when Ymir (former Jaw Titan) was "ratted out" in a similar way. They also showed her seeing the paths in Season 2.
Isayama uses so much symbolism and foreshadowing in this work that it just makes you wonder about a lot. I love such stories that "make you think."

I agree with what you said about creating the attack titan. I think Ymir created him to free her, and I think this titan is the last titan she created, and the only titan with such a powerful agenda. I'm also sure that the attack titan was never inherited by someone with a royal blood. Grisha was the first Eldian to combine the attack titan with the founder titan in his body, and Eren is the first attack titan who activates the founder titan.
Ymir's connection with Historia is stunning too. I must say. Not only that they looked alike (especially as pregnant young women) but also in their story line. When Historia refused to eat Eren, she said: I don't want to be a god. That's what Eren said to Ymir too. Not only that she isn't a slave, but she doesn't have to keep working as a titan-creator god anymore. She can choose what to do. And that's the real power of the attack titan. Ymir created him this way, with pure hunger for freedom, the freedom she never had (and she wanted to give to the pig she released).
By the way, the other tragic part about her life, was that she was never LOVED for the HUMAN she was. She craved love and affection (that look she had towards the kissing couple), but the first Fritz king never really loved her. Even when she died, he told her to just get up, because she can, not because he loves her. I think that at this moment she chose to die, even though she obviously could easily recover. She died to free herself from this loveless life, but instead of leaving her rest in peace, the Eldian king kept her in slavery for 2000 years, so she can keep creating titans for his empire.
In the middle of this endless time, she created the attack titan, and sent him to Eren, someone who is from the very beginning of his life, refused to just live in a cage. The very first episode was called: For you, in 2000 years; and this episode is called: From you, since 2000 years ago. I have this crazy feeling that the whole story was just a very long message from Ymir to Eren. And in this episode, the message arrived.
I can't get over how brilliant this story is.

One of the most shocking is the image of the king overseeing Ymir’s daughters eating her corpse. I suppose whole Hallucigenia thing is somewhat about the beggining of life and overall evolution, as pure titans are basically the ultimate life form, when you think about it. They dont need to eat, they dont harm nature, they regenerate, they're just the embodyment of life itself. Well, at least as I see it. Kinda ironic in that case, that Eren's trying to destroy life using titans.

Because the titans basically are slaves to hallucigenia.

Seems like the only drawback to Titans is the drive to consume people and regain some type of humanity. Have to think if they didn't operate on the instincts of their human bases, they truly wouldn't be anything nefarious at all.

Something I heard someone mention that I really enjoyed was the idea of History being twisted with the Iconic image of the devil handing an apple to Ymir. In the image the idea is that the devil tempted Ymir, an innocent girl, but what we see here with King Fritz and his horned helmet is that he is actually the devil and the image depicts Ymir giving the apple, aka, the strength of the titans, to the Devil.

This is what the story has been building towards all along. The payoff is extremely potent, and everything fits together cyclically and thematically, with legendary foreshadowing & planning. This is a modern masterpiece.
I've waited so long to see these past 3 episodes get animated, and here we are. Seeing everyone's reactions to this absolute peak of storytelling brilliance feels fantastic. I have only watched the anime not the comic. Here is my theory.
I think probably, Eren is another Lelouch.
What differentiate them is that, Eren may not have the total freewill due to the hatreds of Attack Titian, for 2000 yrs. He has to fight against the strong will. Or he really has the total control, all he has to do is to hide his initial motivation to everyone, including Armin and Mikasa.
Either free or not himself, Eren could see the bigger future, which I believe is that Falco to inherit his Attack Titian(Many clues lead to that). Which means Eren, could be beaten by Falco and Gabi, as the founding titian. And that makes them heroes to the world as Eldians. In that way, Eldians are free for good. And Ymir could finally rest in peace, free from the 2000 yrs' curse.
'I destroyed the world and I rebuilt it'. I would be the demon and you be the hero. The rumbling is anther Zero Requiem. The demon has to show the world its power until he got killed.
Isayama, you can cap everyone but me.

If you think about it, she was an enslaved person for far more than 2000 years. The time on the coordinate is different. Eren and Zeke wandered months or even years through Grisha's memories but that was just an instant in the "real world". Ymir was a enslaved person at least for 20,000 years or even much longer.

And she created every titan that was ever formed after her, including the millions of colossal wall titans.
