The reason why he was taking his time on the setup is that he is the designated drone hunter and roamer. Doing a late reinforcement isn’t as risky due to the timings that most attackers have at the start of the round (exception for Amaru)

I think it's simply the mix of being a pro league player, and thus being absolutely insane, and a bit of luck from him too making some insane clips. If he plays like that regularly, yeah it's weird, but a one off like that doesn't seem weird tbh
a lot of his kills were genuinely a skill issue. you can tell by his movements hes reacting off sound. and the way he swings and prefires w confidence. actually a great player to watch imo
half his kills were due to enemies stomping around not even thinking of cutting off sound

Hi I'm a cheater so I will explain some things, the only way to get stat banned (26:25) is to have over an 80% headshot rate in 5-10 matches in a row. I also want to say that you are probably the only person on the internet who is actually good at telling if people are cheating or not. I have been cheating in various games for 10+ years and you are by far the best at identifying people who are trying to hide it.
Telling in a community of gamers that you're a cheater is basically equivalent of telling society that you are pedrophile... That's brave, but not respectful.

this is why varsitygaming is still at the game.
Game sense helps to narrow down options but a non cheater doesn't actually know exactly where an enemy is going to be, there's still a significant amount of guesswork involved. Some people are just very lucky with prefiring or wallbangs. Many cheaters are also very good at hiding it, and this just makes the whole situation very confusing.
For the repeat ADS, I once had my right mouse button go on the fritz during a game, and it would do that exact thing. I ended up turning on toggle ADS to get rid of it.
That being said, I still think that guy is cheating

Pro players use moss anticheat which is super invasive but logs everything that happens on your PC. There are logs of every single pro league players' games which can be reviewed in the event of cheating allegations.

Ubisoft should hire you and a team of people who watch submissions like you. Each day and twice a day we see who’s cheating and it would help the community a lot because it would be people form the community helping the community.
There are 65,000 active players playing siege every every day. You would need thousands of people watching thousands of hours of footage. It's not possible for this to have an impact

Assuming they banned the amount of cheaters multiplied by the value of the game to equal whatever salary/hourly they paid them it would be worth it on a financial stand point. Just gotta make sure those people are actually cheating because those people would be financially motivated to hit a mark of banned accounts so maybe instead of manually banning they would put a flag on accounts for an anti cheat to double check them. Eventually cheaters would stop buying new copies of the game but it could actually end up making ubi some money which is the only thing they would actually lift a finger to do
@@dang.9125 ok but there can be systems in place based upon amounts of reports instead of by one report. I recon if you're getting 10+ reports in the span of 1 hour chances are its worth an investigation. A system such as that would help narrow down the rage reports and the actual reports. Matter of fact I'm almost certain this already exists

Never understood why stat bans are not a thing. Especially in siege. Having anything above 2.5 K/D is insane.
Because how would they efficiently ban players that are new to the game with high K/D because they’re NEW or ban players with a high K/D because they’re just cheating

See i take my time when defending, mainly because R6 players take the game too seriously and i get shot if i put a hard wall up where people don't want them and i don't fully know what im doing. so i tend to just walk about randomly and shoot drones. The game then just turns into a point and click adventure game trying to figure out angles. Other then bad team mates im not sure how people get locked in low rank. i only say this because i know first hand about hackusations and people crying because they get killed.
A single bad team member that can’t contribute kills can sometimes lose you the game. Basically, at that point you’re playing 4v5 if they’re truly bad enough.

Also, hes clearly drone hunting during his setup, and his end positioning was on blue stairs. He doesnt need to finish it in 20 seconds to be considered "taking it seriously"

Definitely possible for pro players to cheat. Multiple pros players form a few major esport games have attempted and all of them have been caught.

I actually think the pro at the start might be using very slight aim cheats. At 5:07, if you replay at 0.5x or 0.25x speed, his tracking is exactly perfect on the sledge. I don't know if this is a one-off thing, as he only ever really tracked that one time, but that is some nasty aim otherwise.

lol this 5th guy. The way he pretends to check other angles, like he doesn't know where people are. Where you see the enemy outline, he hangs and waits, but when he looks at other angles, it's for like a second, then back on the enemy outline lol.

yeah just type in their username with the correct platform and they’ll come up.
I have hours spent on console and pc so my stats are split between both of them which is weird because you’d think it would merge together but it just doesn’t.

I don't think the second and third guy were cheating. A lot of it looked pretty good and the second guy was in a lobby with coppers and silvers as a plat. pretty easy to boost your kd in a match like that. I went 15-3 in double overtime in bronze match the other night and I peaked at gold3. A plat would destroy my lobbies. maybe I'm wrong but they didn't look super suspect
The player in match 2 was def cheating. Like Varsity says, they’re matching their crosshair to the position of people through walls.

I’m so glad as a console player I can’t play against pc, this is the issue on Warzone where pc has the advantage and you can’t play with cross play off. I don’t trust pc players with how easy it is to do or hide this stuff

So this is a curious question I have, In report update notifications can you tell the difference between getting a sanctions on grieving vs cheating. I ask cause I get quite a bit of people banned, but would like to know if the message is always the same. I got 3 banned yesterday. I suspected a whole team of 5 yesterday morning and reported them, got on later in the day and it said I got 3 players sanctioned. Since I came back to rainbow 6 I’ve got at least 15 sanctions on players. But I also report greifing such as throwing and players going AFK. Want to know if there’s a way to differentiate or if all the message notifications are the same.
