Well thief's get good at it there's one you can use with a drill, I always have 1/2 a tank plus ,in my 2008 kia van, and it was left bone dry, just follow your instinct, I always do but that night, that little voice said "don't park here" 😂 ....
It’s inexcusable that gas tanks don’t have a drain plug or valve on them. Ever notice you fuel pump seems to always fail with a full or nearly full tank! Trying to wrestle a full gas tank out of a modern car especially when working in your driveway on jackstands is a truly miserable experience and generally results in damage to fuel lines and wiring as well as fuel spillage. Car manufacturers are too cheap to put a simple drain plug in yet are charging you outrageous prices for a car. I don’t think anyone would complain if they charged an extra $20 for a car with a gas tank drain valve.
Agreed but also if you are dropping your gas tank to swap a fuel pump, why wouldn't you just siphon the tank directly from underneath at the large inlet?
@@sfcd4757 You often can’t get to the filler neck without partially dropping the tank or at least undoing the straps and tilting the tank . When you take the filler neck off the tank your likely to spill gas everywhere if it’s full, at that point it’s easier to just remove the full tank and then pour the gas out of it into buckets, rather then trying to siphon or pump the gas out while the tank is spilling gas everywhere and your holding it up with a jack and or your hands. Anyway a simple drain plug in the bottom of the tank would make everyone’s lives a lot easier.
Good sir! I tried your method and it works famously. I use the semi rigid quarter inch inside diameter poly propylene hose cut at a 45° angle going in. I had to work at it but nonetheless It worked as you described. I’m in gas out of a 2010 Jeep liberty which is Going to the scrap yard tomorrow. Thank you very much. Unfortunately, I cannot upload a picture to show my method Best
Find a place to connect a hose after the fuel pump like the test port of the fuel rail (could be pressurized). Jump the fuel pump at the relay. Point the hose into a container. Turn the key to the run position and the fuel pump should start. I didn't have anywhere to put a hose so took the fuel rail off and pulled the end injector.
Wow. What a tedious video. To summarize: it's almost impossible, and requires a really narrow hose. The end.

For real. Thanks haha.
someone keeps taking gas out of my truck so its not impossible and they are quick at it
Yeah, he really taught us how to get past the rollover valves and anti-siphon screens 🙄
Finally found a video that will help put me to sleep at night!! Thanks!!!
Lol
I used 3/8 outer diameter and cut it to a sharp point ant was able to manipulate it through in about 60 seconds. Thanks so much for the video!
how much twisting did you have to do to get to the petrol
3/8" od would be better than 1/4" as long as the tube can be manipulated to pass the check ball
Thank you for this video
Was there any issues pulling the syphon hose back out of the tank.

The way people are stealing nowadays I wouldn't want to make it super easy for my gas to be stolen
How difficult could it be to record a short video? This is not radio, you know?
Good sir!

Best
Will this work on a Tesla? 😶
Yes, just use an extension cord instead of tubing, those use the new crackle fuel
No, you have to use a long drill through the floor.
lol
hey, can i steal gas now? why not instead focus on discussion of overcoming the siphon valve?
Absolutely!!
90% talks about irrelevant information!!
@@stevecrowe176and the other 10% won’t get you past that roller valve. So pretty much 100% worthless
This video is reported for false informatipn, please report this video too.
Suuuch a long video. And so much unnecessary talk
This long video doesn't show anything.
I'm here to save you money, time and effort.
This WON'T WORK on your 2000 and later private car, just acknowledge that you lost 50 €/$ for ever 😁
Lol and if there is a check valve that the hose won't get past??

Best way to get gas out of a newer car would be to use the EVAP line
nah, cut the fuel line.
. Haha
Terribly painful to listen to this... 😩
❤
This is of no value. Tells me nothing of getting past anti-siphon valve
How can u pass. That
So far most people say u just gotta cut valve link to the tank n just go in straight wit ur hose mostly like under the car 🚗
painful to listen to this, so if a zombie apocalypse are we all dead?
Siphon it from where the fuel pump sits 💡
Just did it yesterday
Not me saving this info for shtf
Very well detailed video , thanks
How new are we talking?
Tells everything you don't need or want to hear!
Is a 2004 newer?
Me trying to get fuel out of the Camry lmao
Damn... just wanted to be able to siphon gas from my own car and store it in case gas prices go up...
Gas doesn't last very long homie. After a few months it is useless in small engines, a year or so and you don't want much even in a car.
So much crapping on
How To Siphon Gas Out Of A Newer Car
Shit u wahon mt lingedl. Wassup wrongmm😅
