I guess Miguel Zanetti introduced Victoria de Los Ángeles to Gerald Moore because Gerald Moore was professor of Miguel Zanetti in Viena. I knew Miguel Zanetti in 2003, he used to talk me about Gerald Moore as "the better"; and about Victoria she was "the bigger" above all of them. I think the best pianist repertorist nowadays is so far from Miguel Zanetti (millions of km).
Together with Victoria de Los Ángeles and Montserrat Caballé, three Spanish glorious operatic singers. Berganza is still alive (it’s 2021 when I write this) at the ripe age of 86. I hope she’s doing well. My best to one of Spain’s treasures.
