Great content once again. I like what Nikon has done here. Having the ability to undo specific edits is great. Although the ability to undo most recent change without reverting to the original value would be valuable.
It's definitely a bit weird not having the undo work under the edit menu, hopefully they will implement it in the future, particularly as they add more features to the software.
It seems though that it does not help in case one have made an adnustment and then makes another one (even accidently) with the same tool. Reverting to original will reset both adjustments / steps. Is there any solution to that?
Each section has a box that either says "Current" or "Original". If you have altered an adjustment it says current. To reset that adjust ment just set it back to original and it will only reset the values in that one adjustment section. Undo and Redo are grayed out currently, but the fact that they are under the edit menu indicates Nikon probably plans on adding a more robust undo and redo feature.
I am not sure what you mean by frames. Do you mean putting a frame around the photo, or putting it in an HTML frame on a Web page, or just encapsulating the image in some sort of viewer? It does not do any of those things, but you can export it to a Jpeg format for sharing online.
They do a lot of similar things. Lightroom has more features than NX Studio currently has, and it will read different manufacturers RAW file formats. Lightroom also will export to more file formats than NX Studio. NX Studio does have most of features that are commonly used in Lightroom, plus it is a new program, so I expect Nikon will be adding more features in the future.

Isn't there a "global" revert to original button, like there was in ViewNX?
Also - how do you switch off all the camera adjustments in NX Studio?

@@PhotoBlue thanks for clarifying . Studio NX urgently needs that undo (one step at a time) for the retouch brush
Can you add frames to images for the purpose of online viewing? Thanks!

What is basic difference between NX Studio and Lightroom editing or manipulation?
