Great. Another one of those channels where you are left scratching your head why it has so few subscribers.

I have used color control points in NX Studio before but I just learned several things that I was unaware of and I thank you for this! What I was trying to find was how to control color accuracy from my Z6II from camera through NX studio to printer (either printing directly from NX Studio or from GIMP) I can’t seem to find a way to use a Spyder Checker 24, since it’s software will only create camera profiles for three “paid” (industry) programs. I calibrated my two, laptop (4K) and LG (HD) monitors with the Spyder X Elite and currently only use papers with profiles for my Epson ET8550 but eventually wish to venture off using rolls and heavier papers some of which don’t come with profiles for my printer so I foresee the purchase of the Spyder Print as well. I get darn close color wise but this could be much better if I could profile my camera for use with the plethora of free programs available. Raw Therapee, GIMP (reads TIFF not NEF RAW), Darktable (which does not recognize my camera yet) and, of course, NX Studio which has a Z6II profile but can I improve this with a standardized color flow? Eventually, if I decide to sell my photos, the Adobe products might make sense but licensing GIMP would also be an option and support it’s development.

Thank you for your great NX Studio tutorials. I tried selecting a color from the color control point palette, modified it, and saved it as a custom color. So. I do this several times and have say 5 custom colors on the palette. Then I switch to another photograph, select a control point, create a custom color, and save it to the palette. When I save it, it overwrites the previous custom color that I created when working on the previous photograph. This must be a sw bug? So, I create a perfect blue sky custom color and then lose it when I save another custom color on the next photo. Very annoying, Have you looked at this before? Thank you

I'm selecting for example, Red, but the Color picker box is showing green, and if I select a Green part of the image, the color picker shows white. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
