I think the current WWE Title looks awesome, and it looked incredible on Drew and Bobby, but the problem is that the other 3 World Titles look the exact same.
It dosen't look awesome, there's just nothing good about it. Compare that to when Orton, Undertaker, Rock, Austin carried their belts. The Belts don't give a feeling anymore, but I guarantee you go back and see Rock or Jerichos Title Runs, and see how much better a wrestler looks with belt. A wrestler belongs with a title, and without it they look un charming, and un interesting. Which would indicate why wrestlers would want it in the first place Now they look so basic, they're pretty much corporate props

When the wwe world heavyweight champion design was first introduced, I liked, it was prestigious back at the 2015-17 years of wwe. but when the brand split happened and they were introducing a new belt which was the universal titlem i thought tge design was going to be epic. But it was just a replica of the wwe world heavyweight champion the only difference was the color of the leather, and for me, the prestige got even worse when they made the women's belt for both brands, it's like they're just all holding the same belts.
The white IC title was prestigious. It kinda started losing its prestige since it got redesigned. Every IC champion ever since the title got redesigned has had an underwhelming run with it. The last great IC Champions were Miz, Rollins and Ziggler.
The spinning belt will always hold a special place in my heart since it was the era I was introduced to WWE and watched the most. With that being said, give me the old style WWE Championship belt back. That belt looked like it belonged to an emperor. It was larger than life, prestigious, and was not mistaken for any other belt. And yea the IC belt needs some blue on it, it looks budget.
I prefer the Big Gold and the previous WWE Championship belt over the Spinning belt. Only John Cena can wear that belt in my opinion. The spinning US championship belt really looks good though.
In my opinion… ever since 2009 WWE started losing their creativity in a number of ways. The PPV’s lost their unique designs… they all began to look just like Raw & Smackdown. Hell… even now WrestleMania is starting to look similar year after year. WWE started naming their PPV’s after matches which took away the excitement of certain matches such as Hell in a Cell because now you were guaranteed to see that match take place year after year instead of only seeing it to conclude an intense rivalry that extended over months. And now… the titles look the same 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah, I also don't like the mitb ppv or the fact that there are multiple mitb matches. Just one at wrestlemania with half the superstars from raw and half from sd made more sense

I have a general problem with naming ppvs after match types, it either means we don't get to see these match types outside the ppv which takes away from the unpredictability or we still do which undermines the significance of the ppv. That fatal 4 way ppv in 2010 was the silliest. Now Mitb is different, but the match supplemented wm, it didn't need to become a ppv on it's own, and having more than one take place on the same night makes it over saturated.

It all went downhill when the WWE Championship got redesigned almost a decade ago. WWE just copy+pasted the same title design for every title on the main shows. I miss the days when WWE had unique title designs; for instance you could see the differences between the WWE title and World Heavyweight title right off the bat back in the day.

Me too.. I put the Big Gold belt on Raw and The Winged Eagle or Undisputed belt on Smackdown.. These newer designs of all the belts don't work for me except maybe the US title, just slightly..
The WWE championship looks good the problem is every other championship just looks exactly like it and it looks like a bag of Skittles. I guarantee the design wouldn't get as much hate if the others were unique and had their own design. But I feel because they all look alike it gets more hate than it should.
I miss the Smokin Skulls belt, the Million dollar belt, the OG WWE championship, the OG USA belt, just all the old designs are so much better than what they have now
I think the WWE title is fine overall, but was entirely ruined when they started reusing the title for literally ANY title. Like, the raw and smackdown women’s title, and the universal title is the biggest offender of that reuse policy.

I completely agree with this video. I stopped watching WWE back in 2009 and would not return until 2021. My surprise when I learned Big Gold was gone. My horror when I saw what they did to the Intercontinental belt. These new belts just look like colorful toys. They don't look prestigious or "lived in". The WWE championship and the Universal championship look exactly the same, except the Universal one is blue or red depending on the brand🙄. It's extremely lazy. The only new belt I adore is the United States title, it looks fucking sexy and is the best design it has ever had. That belt is going age like fine wine.

It’d be like if the World Heavyweight Championship was the main title and they just made 5 other versions of it with each having different colors. I don’t like the looks of todays WWE belts. My favorite is the old WWF eagle belt that was introduced in 1988. I wish they would go back to that style. In those days the belts were genuine and there weren’t a boatload of them in storage like today. The champion had to put a deposit down to posses it and the same belt was passed off to the new champ when the title changed. That made it something special. Today they have a shitload of title belts and don’t care if it gets lost or whatever.
One thing too, i miss when they called them “world tag team championship” now its raw or smackdown tag team championship, that and the new belts just dont hit the same, in the new 2k i went straight to the old belts

Nah the new ones don’t seem like they give off a more playful vibe. The older titles like the World Heavyweight championship, the white intercontinental and the USA flag is title were my absolute favorite. They had history and showed a sign of royalty in a way if that makes sense
Yeah but those eras are over, if they booked the title better the looks wouldn't even matter no more. Each WWE title design represented a different era and todays design has yet to represent the modern era correctly.
It really frustrated me when instead of bringing back the WH title back in 2016 they decided to create a new World Title with a shit name and equally bad design choice that looks like a piss poor copy of the WWE Title along with how the Women and Tag Titles on both Raw and Smackdown had the exact same design with just different colors to reflect the brand which is just absolutely lazy. On another note is how this serves as another indictment of how creatively lazy WWE has gotten over the years with not just belt designs but also PPV stages which in the past all had unique designs that made them memorable yet now despite having far more money than 20 years ago they somehow can't help but have the exact same stage designs for most of the PPV outside of Wrestlemania.
They should’ve never touched the design of the Intercontinental belt. Even when it was changed in the 00’s I still felt like it didn’t need a redo. I was happy when they brought the title back later on. Cody Rhodes rocked it the coolest before the Miz.
The Rock's Version of the WWE Title was better than the WWE title now my favorite belt is the eagle winged Title for WWE but the 1991-1994 WCW title reclassified as the World Title would have worked during the Invasion era or maybe after it. The WWE European Title was another great looking title as well I did like the NXT UK title as well but the new United States title is nice
it's weird how all of the more "secondary" titles have the better designs and the world championships have the same boring ass belt with the big logo. nxt has some of the best belt designs in all of wrestling and I hope vince doesn't touch them. the wwe universal and main roster women's and tag team championships are so bland
I get what you're saying but the company was absolutely targeted to children in the 80s and early 90s with their merchandise and they had much more variety in their belt designs.
WWE championship should stay the same, it has been on the screen for almost 10 years now. No other WWE title design has been on the screen for longer except for the 'Winged-Eagle' belt (1988-1998). There are so many things that have happened in the last 10 years that the belt has gained prestige. And since the US Title looks better than it has ever been, I think the RAW Singles Titles are good. This brings us to smackdown where let's be honest both Intercontinental and Universal Title need a change. Even though Roman has made the belt very coveted, I can't take that belt seriously even if Roman Reigns is carrying it. The literally is the embodiment of the word bootleg. With Red Universal Tite, you were able to clearly differentiate between the two world titles but with the blue one, it looks like the WWE title from certain angles. And, there is barely any difference. But, I am not obsessed with World Heavyweight Title because I know it's never coming back, so it's a waste of time, even talking about it. Now, I will have to agree that the IC Title has literally been irrelevant for the past 3 years. We haven't seen a good run by anybody with the belt aggravating the already mediocrely designed belt. In conclusion, bring the previous IC Title with adjustments so side-plates could be changed (because almost every singles belt does that nowadays). And bring in a NEW Universal Championship that gives the championship a new personality and makes it stand out from every other title while it is worthy of being called A WORLD TITLE.
For me: WWE title is fine as it is literally the WWE title so I dont mind the look, maybe needs a design under the WWE logo but I think its fine. Universal title is literally a blue or red copy of the WWE title which I am not a fan of, I hope they bring the Big gold world title back. US title has grown on me and I do like it. Intercontinental title needs to go back to the previous design before the current Tag titles need to go back to the old Raw and smackdown titles from the mid 2000's Womens title I dont mind as it is the WWE title for women but again, I hate that they are both the same except for blue or red back ground NXT titles are fine, I like all of them, womens tag titles are fine too
I'll be honest w yall, stone cold looks absolutely bias w the red universal title and reigns looks like a literal warrior w the old world heavyweight title belt AND IT LEGIT FITS, LIKE IT ACTUALLY DOES. For me, The Current WWE title and Intercontinental Titles are fine. But the Tag Titles, Women's titles, and Universal Title need to be swapped for more distinct and prestigious designs
I heard the title will be redesigned when the unified champion is crowned at Mania. I also heard it'd look like the World Title but with the WWE logo on it.
The tag team championship look good because it's silvery instead of the always gold/coppor kinda colour. But damn the ketchup and blue on the belts makes them look like toys. Same for the other belts also where are the champion specific belts. ( There aren't any now) . It got no design . I could have designed will eating dinner. Just slapped the standard logo on the belt. It's isn't clean it's boring, simple and not creativity.
A belt is all about tradition. It's about winning the same belt that HBK once wore, or Stone Cold, or Undertaker. It puts wrestlers on the same pedestal, the same mountain as the legends once stood atop. These new belts have no history to them, therefore their meaningless. 💯

Obviously anyone who’s not a wrestler in the slightest would probably get trained to take bumps and deliver moves safely without someone getting hurt.
I totally loved old design of US and IC title whereas new design are very bad. After WM 38 title unification within few months a new world title will be introduced for Raw.
The WWE championship can remain the same but I wish they could make the universal title design similar to the big eagle/big gold belt with a blue or red strap depending on what brand it's on. I really wish they brought back the OG IC championship with the white strap. I think they changed it because they only want the women's titles to have white straps. Honestly they should bring back the diva's championship design for the women's titles but redesign it to say women instead of divas. The US and tag team championships are good as it is.
The new IC title is the best of all its designs, only problem is it hasn't been booked right. The universal title can change and the tag team titles should be unified and go back to one belt (well technically two).

I definitely agree that all the championships look the same and when I do play universal mode I normally replace the new championships with the old championships
Me too.. I put the Big Gold belt on Raw and The Winged Eagle or Undisputed belt on Smackdown.. These newer designs of all the belts don't work for me except maybe the US title, just slightly..
The WWE championship looks good the problem is every other championship just looks exactly like it and it looks like a bag of Skittles. I think the WWE title is fine overall, but was entirely ruined when they started reusing the title for literally ANY title. Like, the raw and smackdown women’s title, and the universal title is the biggest offender of that reuse policy.

I completely agree with this video. I stopped watching WWE back in 2009 and would not return until 2021. My surprise when I learned Big Gold was gone. My horror when I saw what they did to the Intercontinental belt. These new belts just look like colorful toys. They don't look prestigious or "lived in". The WWE championship and the Universal championship look exactly the same, except the Universal one is blue or red depending on the brand🙄. It's extremely lazy. The only new belt I adore is the United States title, it looks fucking sexy and is the best design it has ever had. That belt is going age like fine wine.

I don’t mind the current WWE championship but the problem is that there’s like 5 versions of the exact same title for different brands and divisions. It’d be like if the World Heavyweight Championship was the main title and they just made 5 other versions of it with each having different colors. I don’t like the looks of todays WWE belts. My favorite is the old WWF eagle belt that was introduced in 1988. I wish they would go back to that style. In those days the belts were genuine and there weren’t a boatload of them in storage like today. The champion had to put a deposit down to posses it and the same belt was passed off to the new champ when the title changed. That made it something special. Today they have a shitload of title belts and don’t care if it gets lost or whatever.

It really frustrated me when instead of bringing back the WH title back in 2016 they decided to create a new World Title with a shit name and equally bad design choice that looks like a piss poor copy of the WWE Title along with how the Women and Tag Titles on both Raw and Smackdown had the exact same design with just different colors to reflect the brand which is just absolutely lazy.
On another note is how this serves as another indictment of how creatively lazy WWE has gotten over the years with not just belt designs but also PPV stages which in the past all had unique designs that made them memorable yet now despite having far more money than 20 years ago they somehow can't help but have the exact same stage designs for most of the PPV outside of Wrestlemania.

WWE tag team championships from 2002-2010 were my favorite design. Blue just pops more than red.
They should’ve never touched the design of the Intercontinental belt. Even when it was changed in the 00’s I still felt like it didn’t need a redo. I was happy when they brought the title back later on. Cody Rhodes rocked it the coolest before the Miz.

The Rock's Version of the WWE Title was better than the WWE title now my favorite belt is the eagle winged Title for WWE but the 1991-1994 WCW title reclassified as the World Title would have worked during the Invasion era or maybe after it.

WWE championship should stay the same, it has been on the screen for almost 10 years now. No other WWE title design has been on the screen for longer except for the 'Winged-Eagle' belt (1988-1998). There are so many things that have happened in the last 10 years that the belt has gained prestige. And since the US Title looks better than it has ever been, I think the RAW Singles Titles are good.
This brings us to smackdown where let's be honest both Intercontinental and Universal Title need a change. Even though Roman has made the belt very coveted, I can't take that belt seriously even if Roman Reigns is carrying it. The literally is the embodiment of the word bootleg. With Red Universal Tite, you were able to clearly differentiate between the two world titles but with the blue one, it looks like the WWE title from certain angles. And, there is barely any difference. But, I am not obsessed with World Heavyweight Title because I know it's never coming back, so it's a waste of time, even talking about it.
Now, I will have to agree that the IC Title has literally been irrelevant for the past 3 years. We haven't seen a good run by anybody with the belt aggravating the already mediocrely designed belt.
In conclusion, bring the previous IC Title with adjustments so side-plates could be changed (because almost every singles belt does that nowadays). And bring in a NEW Universal Championship that gives the championship a new personality and makes it stand out from every other title while it is worthy of being called A WORLD TITLE.

The tag team championship look good because it's silvery instead of the always gold/coppor kinda colour. But damn the ketchup and blue on the belts makes them look like toys.
Same for the other belts also where are the champion specific belts. ( There aren't any now) . It got no design . I could have designed will eating dinner. Just slapped the standard logo on the belt. It's isn't clean it's boring, simple and not creativity.
A belt is all about tradition. It's about winning the same belt that HBK once wore, or Stone Cold, or Undertaker. It puts wrestlers on the same pedestal, the same mountain as the legends once stood atop. These new belts have no history to them, therefore their meaningless. 💯
