Man thats the coolest TJ I've seen. I have a 2000 I'm slowly building. Its my daily driver right now but eventually I'll be doing the big stuff to it... coil overs and stretching it a bit. Awesome jeep!

Super sick build man! Just seeing it the exterior looks absolutely badass, but the interior is even cooler. Just overall it’s a really dam cool build that has a lot of great detail and functionality to it. You’ve clearly went over every aspect of it and have made it work for you. I look forward to more videos in the future!

Lol it actually is crickets! 😂evenings in Florida in the summer are loud. I fought a lot of noise In everything I’ve filmed yet but I’m working on that for the rest of the videos. Thanks!

Are you running any sway bars? I’m looking into stretching the front of my TJ. Seems like the front sway bar just has to go. Not sure I like the idea of a rear sway bar only. Right now I generally run front sway bar only
Good question since I didn't cover that. Correct that it has to go away in the front unless you get really creative. I have a Universal Rock Jock anti rock kit in the rear. The idea of running one in the rear only proved to work well with how I set the Jeep up. Super long 16" coilovers on the front allowed the front to flex and climb an obstacle while the rear antirock kept the body close to level and very stable while the front worked. The front in most cases was far enough up an obstacle to help pull the rear up. Sounded great in theory when designing it and it proved to work great on my Jeep.
what sun shade are you running i have the same cage and mine doesn't fit real well
Great jeep! how you make the AW4 work on the TJ? I have an LJ automatic, and the trasmision sucks, I had a cherokee, and the AW4 its far superior!

How did you add that license plate holder? The holes line up even though that's from a JL?
Easy, just drilled them. Most aluminum tailgates don’t have any holes in them at all like this one so I just put it on and drilled the 8 holes

Probably should have included some info on that. It’s a poison spider cage kit, and I’ve added in a few of my own pieces
What controls the AW4?
The aw4 retains the factory Cherokee TCU. That got spliced into the factory jeep harness to communicate with the ECU

Only thing missing are the Portal Axles
portals?! that would be insane!
@@RecoilOff-Road the advantage of portals besides massive ground clearance under the diffs are better suspension geometry. flatter or smaller angles of the suspension arms reduce the forward movement of the front wheels into the bump and less stress on the bushings. in fact if more up travel could be engineered into the standard suspension by moving the bump stops, or lowered suspension without loss of wheel travel, all the lift can come from the portals with the best angles possible for better handling. my 2 cents
