Not only did I dance at more than one disco, but I was also thrown out of a disco for wearing blue jeans.
Well, not during the Disco era. But, I dance at Sharkey's Reef to 2 live crew. I went to club Atlantis in the hood to see NWA with ice cube. But no to Disco. I'm a Gen Xer.

The Brothers Johnson Look Out For #1 is my favorite out of the box Even though I'm not a Disco person I loved every album The Brothers Johnson put out it had R'N'B Soul and even Disco but merge that all together That's what you got on every album. Now I have never danced at a disco cause Disco wasn't my bag it didn't thrill me like it did a lot of people

I enjoyed LAKESIDE,rick James hair,Isaac Hayes and that Rufus album with their biggest hit. Tell me Something Good. It reminds me of back home.

GREAT BOX!!! MY FAVORITE IS "MUTUAL ATTRACTION" BY THE LEGENDARY SYLVESTER!!! THIS WAS HIS 80`s COMEBACK ALBUM WITH A WHOLE NEW LOOK AND SOUND, "SOMEONE LIKE YOU" WAS THE FIRST SINGLE AND VIDEO... IT WAS A SMASH!!!

Chambers Brothers belong in rock.
The Emotions Rejoice is a great album from start to finish. Anything by Luther Vandross or Phyllis Hyman is worth acquiring as well.
That 4 by four is rare on cd but not very good.
Do you think they didn't bptherbpressing many of the 4 by Four on CD because the interest just wasn't there?
@@SpinMeRoundStore The lack of interest in the the title as wells as their terrible vocals didn't help it's longevity any.
Capitol was the last major to embrace the cd for all titles which was around 1987, the year this title was current. There's a rare Norman Connors issued around the same time that's fairly tough to find on cd. The Beatles didn't get reissued onto cd until 1987 as where most companies had their evergreen titles available as of 85-86.

oh my gosh! The S.O.S. Band 😭
The Bottom Line was a rock venue in Greenwich Village where you sat at tables during the show. Many concerts from there were broadcast live on WNEW-FM. I saw Chubby Checker there in the early 1980's from a front row center table. He did half the show standing on our table!. I can still smell his Paco Rabanne Pour Homme as he was drenched and dripping perspiration by the time he did "The Twist" and "Let's Twist Again Like We Did Last Summer". He was touring and promoting his then new LP which was very good. Has anyone ever brought in a copy of "The Change Has Come"? I have a copy.. Listen if you have a chance.. He re-recorded "The Twist' and called it Twistin' '82. Here's the playlist. Ask the actress who plays the tall assistant what she thinks along with the substitute cameraman who played the assistant last week. Listen to the track called "Burn Up the Night":
