50 years older than Tesco, older than M&S but amazing that Debenhams is from the 1700s! We should cherish our old companies they have a lot of history and we should learn about it great advert too. I hope we get others about the beginnings of Sainsbury's
A very AMAZING Advert to celebrate the 150th anniversary and to use traditional Stop-motion animation with the cake, the figurines doing their job was beautiful, A huge fan of Hand made Art :)
Hey RPK, thanks for your patience while we looked into this for you. I can confirm the music in the background is Alex Baranowski and the track is called 'Sainsbury's 150th'. I hope this helps. Fraser
"We kept jobs for our boys returning from war" You gave millions of pounds to Tony Blair to give immunity to IRA murderers and persecute British soldiers. You were responsible for the deaths of hundred of British servicemen in the middle east and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis by supporting his illegal war. You gave millions to Blair to campaign for the EU and maintain your supply of minimum wage workers subsidised by in-work benefits rather than simply pay a decent wage to your employees.
lol.. the last time I ever shop at Sainsbury’s. Yesterday was my first experience shopping at lidel and I walked out with 6 shopping bags full of goodies all for just under £90. This would never happen at sainsbury’s. I can’t believe I have been so blind for so many years. The taste quality of the food is on par if not better. I think there is a fundamental flaw with Sainsbury’s business model which is why they’re so much more expensive. I think they supply on too many different brands on similar products resulting in low order volumes and high costs hence why they are over priced where as lidl’s supplies are across a few quality brands on high order quantities and keep their costs low which is what us customer want - value for money!
These are our values..."aww..look at them, all fishing from the same pond". I wonder what values you'd be associated with if that unholy alliance was allowed?
Sainsburys you are finished in this house, not another penny will be spent in any of your stores because you over promote those who are a tiny 3% of our population. I have just added Amazon to my list with more to follow.
Would you send your almost out of date food to be given to lonely seniors? ...as a meal to their home, and at their events when they are all together socialising Nice natured but vetted members of staff to spend a little time with them, it would make their day.

Looking forward to the TV series!
Hi Tom. What about Sainsbury's Street or Sainsbury's Farm? The new soap. Karen
How beautiful I loved it.
My word! You would think Sainsbury’s was a charity supporting the poor and needy - not just a supermarket , and not necessarily the cheapest either.
Who is the voiceover on this please. She sounds like the lady who did audiobook Eleanor Oliphant
We'll have a look into this and get back in touch when we have more information to share. Rob
Sorry for the delay in responding. We can confirm that it was Tilly Vosburgh. Adam
Who is rob and who is Adam?
How does it feel that you got a reply from Sainsbury's?
I like this video. It makes me want to dance.

I agree. Personally found that ad an insult to our intelligence.
Because Blair is Jewish just as they are!

Another new year to cop free food from the American section
150 years of mediocre produce at inflated prices.

I hate this ad
sainsburys have done it, found the most irritating voice to narrate their nauseating ad. like nails on a blackboard.
Kept jobs? So did the sack women who filled in? After the 2014 christmas ad debacles their ad choice is brave.
Why bother being a negative Nelly? You have no idea what happened 100 years ago, you’re purely speculating.
