Good morning Crawford I suggest doing the hinge panel with magnet to hold it up in place so flop around so this way you can open it up and service your compressors as need be Elsa. You can also make a little cubby in there to provide secure storage. Mazda is looking awesome.❤🤔🙂👍🏽🤙🏽
Dude!!! I woudlnt wanna tear the mazda back apart either... But with winter coming i'm sure that will make it easier... Dig the hell outta that truck...
Dont forget to run jump posts to the end of the bed so when its aired out and your battery is dead cause you aint drove it for 3 day lol you can hide them with the tail gate
The bulkheads i put in the back of the cab wall actually make a pretty good place to jump the truck. You just have to flip the seat forward to get to them.
bro ive been following since you probably had 1k and im surprised you dont have more by now. i honestly look forward to every video and at first i was disappointed you were straying away from the mazda but now i want to see more ranger stuff too lol
I appreciate you sticking around man. I'm going to try my best to juggle them there's some people that get tired of the same build (I'm one of those people lol) so I'd like to mix it up occasionally keeps me motived .It's hard to plug away at the same stuff week after week the ranger helps with that. Thanks for supporting the channel.
Crawford in the house! She looking good man. If you do the window, you gonna light it? I was thinking just some dimple dies. A nice bead roll to match the graphics could be cool also.
@kirkoglesby6175 I was thinking about lighting. I've been thinking about installing rock lights under the bed just for roadside repair . I didnt even think about matching the graphics with the bead roller that's a good idea !
@Virginiaisforlowriders I was just thinking if you do the window, you could sandblast the graphic in and light it up as well. Options , not sure I'm helping at this point. Lol
That's a combination of the clutch pedal return spring and the tail pipe touching the roll pan because it was hanging down lol. My buddy give me a spare return spring and it makes terrible noises.
I've never attempted to use weld through with a tig. My main dislike from the police copper was everything in the garage gets covered in that fine glitter that comes out of the can.
@@Virginiaisforlowriders When I used tthe zinc stuff, I had to scrape some of it off so my MIG would strike an arc. The copper didn'tt do that. I usually do work outside so it wasn't getting all over everything.
I know you call it rambiling but i kinda enjoy you talkin to us and telling us about whats goin on you have good information locked inside that head and letting it spill out may help the next generation to get in to this kinda thing or atleast stop squatting there sμ!t

@jamesfcookjr magnets is a good idea ! Thanks man I appreciate it !
That’s a sweet roll pan and it’s small things like that that can set a truck apart from others. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to see it painted.
@jonathangertchen4595 Thanks man ! Hopefully i can convince myself to start bodywork soon .
@@Virginiaisforlowriders Are you going to shave anything?
@Brooklyn_Powers maybe the antenna hole and the rear bumper mounts of course. Other then that I don't believe so.
@@Virginiaisforlowriders Right on!
Really like the way the roll pan turned out. And I have your matching fender, stripe included.
Thanks man. Don't temp me to be lazy and not paint the truck !
@Virginiaisforlowriders i am great at putting shit off. Lol.
It's a skill we both possess
I would get that fender and rock that for now! Love the color and faded factory graphics!!
Looks great, man! The pockets for the hinges, is a nice detail!
Thanks man !
I love this truck.
@NC_1_SIC_Impala Thanks man !
Mazda is LoOkiN great.
Thanks man !
I recon put a flat panel on the back. But bead roll some oval shapes in for strength.
That's a possibility too. Thanks man !
I had an 87 Mazda B 2600 same color but it was a four-wheel-drive and I absolutely love that little pick up
@WhiskeyDents I picked up a 4x4 truck off market place with a bad engine. Thats where all this sheet metal came from.
@ I think I’m going to build an extended cab Mazda for a street stripe cruiser. Just have a few to finish up first lol
Extended cab would be nice it's a little tight in the single cab. And I know what you mean I have way to many projects
You said “9:30” I was like “whaaaaa it was dark at like 3pm in Carolina” then I heard the “in the morning”
@@BelcrossMobileRepair hahaha I wasn't sure if anyone was paying attention to that part.
Looking good bud. Glad you’re making progress. Looking forward to seeing this finished. 🫶🏻🫡
@magicman_metal_fab Thanks man I appreciate it .
@ couple more weeks I will stop by 🤙🏻
@magicman_metal_fab awesome just give me a heads up make sure I'm around !
Man i feel the ocd thing! Its a struggle!! Great content tho. Thank u!
Around the time it starts to get cold is when it's the worst for me. I feel like I have to get everything done all at once lol. I appreciate man !
Damn you are talented!
@@kennyleejohnson5253 thanks mannn
looking pretty good there
@LTscustomgarage Thanks man ! I need to get caught back up on your videos i think im 2 behind now .
@Virginiaisforlowriders I've been falling behind watching videos too.
Tht looks clean great metal work I'm thinking going into welding and fabrication on my own stuff just to create something and turns out awesome 💯
You should ! I fully encourage that decision!
Roll pan turned out great, but every time I see that weld thru primer come out all I see is $$$ 😂😂
Haha it is pricey

It's very hard taking apart something that's already enjoyable lol. Thanks man !

You could bead roll your logo into a removable pan for that section on your bed.
That's a good idea ! Thanks !
Very nice work. Build a frame in the center and put a piece of plexiglass in it with your logo in the middle
@@scottp7744That would be cool !

@Virginiaisforlowriders most welcome, bro. I'm with you on the lighting. Want to do some under mine eventually.
Hey Crawford, when you went to back the truck into the show it sounded like you front driver side wheel bearing might be bad from the sound it made
That's a combination of the clutch pedal return spring and the tail pipe touching the roll pan because it was hanging down lol. My buddy give me a spare return spring and it makes terrible noises.
@@Virginiaisforlowriders as for the fill panel, it'd be pretty sick to find an old Mazda tailgate and graft the Mazda into it
@eviltechracing I have one i couldn't bring my self to cut it up lol
@Virginiaisforlowriders junkyard run to see if you can find a damaged one?
@eviltechracing I do need to go and check . The last 3 trips I didnt find anything for any of my junk.
Floppiness (adj.) The condition where a panel has excessive flex due to the lack of a supporting nearby panel. It's in the dictionary, I swear. lol
I definitely didn't think it was a real word lol
Awesome truck! I just got the same rims for my bagged b2200.. if you don't mind, what size tires are you running?
I appreciate it man . They are 215/40/18
How do you feel about notching and bagging the back of a dually? Also need the frame shortened 4 inches.
As of right now I'm not taking any side jobs. I can let you know when I do decide to start them back up .
Sounds like a plan
I found the opposite. The copper Upol worked WAY better for me than the zinc. Does it make a difference if you're using MIG or TIG?
I've never attempted to use weld through with a tig. My main dislike from the police copper was everything in the garage gets covered in that fine glitter that comes out of the can.

It’s called weaving not rambling
Interesting I've never heard that before I had to look it up
