Did you change the PC setting > sound > output to your virtual soundboard AND the sound setting in your volume setting over by the time/clock in your taskbar? The easy stuff is downloading and installing it. It’s usually the PC settings that need to be changed and in the PC oculus app.
Can someone help me and either transfer their copy of Horizon Worlds PC or upload it somewhere so I can download it? The store wont let me download it. No matter what I try. :(
You will first need to download Oculus for PC then you can download Horizon Worlds from there. It’s going to need to be specific to you only. Copying another may accidentally copy contents that belong to the logged in user.
My issue with that way is that it requires a second headset or have someone dedicated to DJ-ing. Which makes that person not able enjoy chilling like the others.
@Seewoop my way you can stream to your headset and switch your audio software settings to mic input and or audio output to make it easy and wireless. I've created a app specifically for quest 2 unfortunately not compatible for the pro
@@RetroCudi i think it's a great alternative for those who do want to really DJ. Using the PC was supposed to be super basic. I guess what I'm trying to understand is how the user can roam around while playing music when the DJ area has its own dedicated place in a world.
Hi folks. These instructions will no longer work. Since Horizon Worlds last update, they have restricted 3rd party music recording which then translates to static when played. I’m looking for another way to do this without having to bring in a bot for DJ.

I got so far then it said my graphics card wasn’t compatible I was so pissed cause I was so close. Ugh!!!! Thanks for the detailed explanation though

@@Oopseepoopsy Yeah, I did everything in the video, but in HW no sound plays. What do you have your voice mod settings set to?
Are you pressing record from horizon worlds in your headset or from the desktop?
Sadly this is now broken, I think. I had it working perfectly and now nothing.

I have the none PC way Working tutorial will be useful for those that can't get it going on the PC. I hope it will help you too

Only if you have an M1 Mac and download the oculus app then download horizon worlds from there
