I think Coner is real good but when I'm reading things like "he's better than Bob Dylan" it makes me wonder who's writing this stuff. He will never be in Bob Dylan's league nor will anyone else. I do dig this song though.
Ed McKendry imo the comparing is because often it feels like conor can carry/transport the common feeling of many from our generation- like dylan did but as you said on a completely different level...🤗 kind regards

Every year or so I'm like "Hmm, wonder what Connor is up too" Then I get stuck on his new stuff for hours... The dude is a lyrical Energizer bunny.
One of my favourites of this album. The lyrics are heartbreaking but still welcoming somehow.
