I saw them on this tour in a small city in upstate NY. They were opening for Smash Mouth. I was 13. I had no money and back then, you couldn't get a record unless you sent away for it or they had it in the mall. Weirdly, I won the cd randomly at a street fair from a local radio station (the one who sponsored the Smash Mouth concert). Answered some trivia question correctly and they offered me a choice of albums. This one was among those options. Snatched it up and listened to it cover to cover. I will never forget that goldtop Les Paul. Was in awe during their whole set. My friends barely remembered them a week later, but it's been sixteen years and I still listen to the S/T and the Semantics album as well. RIP Will

I just happened upon this and it DID make me cry. I just discovered Will's music recently and this is my favorite, favorite, favorite. Devastating, what he did. He must have been in such a horrible place, it's just sad beyond any words I have. His son Walker has some great photos of/tributes to his dad on his Instagram account. I absolutely love this man's music. God Bless and sleep well, Will. What a talent.

Owsley..just an incredible talent, beautiful soul, and he touched every person with his talent. So missed. So loved.
