Being proud of your work is one of the most important things to have. Craftsmanship is being lost on to many people these days. Love what your doing and how you are getting there. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you. I am proud of you.
Isn't it amazing the difference it makes to create and build a little dream you have with your own hands? You set a high bar sir. I would be very proud of that building too!
Thankyou Kris for all your videos this year. Very inspirational! I've quit teaching in UK and moving to Ireland, hopefully off-grid. Small waterfall on land I'll be on for hydro! Love fact you only talk when needed.....great sensibilities...cheers mate
Amazing little building. I always get a smile on my face when i watch your videos. I think its great that your creating a little piece a paradise your way. Merry Christmas.
I am watching your videos for the second time. Am very proud to see a youn man go after his dreams. Im sixty now and let my dreams slide by years ago. Keep up the great job your doing and let nothing or no one stop you.
Hannah Seems like a good fit, and a good friend. Really gets right in there on the work. The work seems easier when there are more hands. Real beauty of a small building. I may have to try that someday, myself.
I came across your hydro power videos while browsing (staying occupied while sick at home). Your projects are inspiring and honest. I’m hooked and can’t wait to learn more about your power project(s). Well done, Kris. Happy New Year from Ohio!
Looking awesome Kris...cant believe all the skills you have learnt this past year. Glad you survived the snows and NADOLIG LLAWEN A BLWYDDYN NEWYDD HAPUS!
you have every reason to be proud of that, Kris! Excellent job; I really appreciate you allowing me to join you on the progress. Wish I could hop over and help, but that's a mighty big pond, and i'm a poor swimmer.... :-)
You should be proud . You are know considered a Master Craftsman , for not knowing what you where doing at the beginning of your journey , all I can say is WOW !!!
Glade to see you are trying new ways of construction and are learning from them. Your timber frame work is great and I look forward to your future videos building more timber frame.
Kris, it amazing me after watch all of your videos, just how much knowledge you have amasted in constructing you homestead! You can't be much more than 30 & you have demonstrated such incredible skills! I have to apologize for asking about your lady friend, I didn't know it would cause such a firestorm of questions & an almost marriage proposal. Cheers Kris & Happy Christmas! Hugs!
Great stuff as always Mr Kris, good to see you hard at it. It took me a while to understand the size of your workshop, I've helped build shops and barns for friends, and some always say, 'dang, wish I added more room:)...Looking forward to you new project(s).
Chris, Love your craftsmanship. You are very inspiring to others who want to do their own projects. Great videos also! Keep up the good work.. steve Richardson Oregon, USA
One aspect to consider, hopefully you already have, is how to contain the forces at the end of the pipe. Often, the final bends of the system are embedded in a few tonnes of concrete. That won't be needed here, but since you have 17m of head and potentially a large flow rate at max power, you will need a reasonably substantial anchor.
Found your channel this morning. I think I watched 90% of your videos until evening came :) Really really interesting stuff and great house, I love it. Keep up the good work! Happy holidays!
Work's coming along nicely Kris! Always get a lot of enjoyment out seeing you accomplish your projects, amazing stuff you do! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!
Kris, you have my respect for both your ability and dedication. Keep up the good work and to you: all the cheer of the season. - Yank in Florida - 82F° today ;-)
Your homestead has come a long way, be damn proud of your accomplishments. Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Kris, I`ll be looking forward to more of your videos in the new year. ATB
Well Kris you should be proud.. fine job and on the cheap... using materials around you was a wise choice.... merry Xmas to all of the family and friends...hung over..ha ha... guess that's going to happen again the following Monday... from Central West Va...
Thanks for all your videos this year Kris they are very motivating watching. Enjoy some down time over the xmas break/new year.. Greetings from New Zealand!
Yeah 😩 the shitter got thrown together in a massive rush for good reasons...... now it’s there I’m going to get some more use out of it yet. But I’m sure a kosher one is coming in the future.
I loved it but I didn't get why no tar paper on the roof. It's incredibly simple and does the majority of the work for the roof for cheap. The shingles will split and warp over time and the paper will hold it for longer than the shingles will alone. Great little building either way. That's a keeper.
Your wood work looks like it is built to last. The foundation looks like it would benefit from having a few more shifts , ie avoid having woodwork under ground level. The investment you are making is very big, do you have a schedule of replacement?
Wow your allways thinking, nice job. When can I expect to see the power supply installed. It'll be nice to see if it works & how much power you can produce. Take care Phil from Ca na da. Ya hoo get err done eh!!
its a slow process, i will be ordering the pipe after christmas. there is no one more excited about having power than me. this time of year im using a generator a lot.

yes that is very true, it will likely come in the form of the pipe being buried and maybe being fixed to a large rock.
Very impressive in many ways and you have done well.
Looking great! I would be unbelievably proud if I had built that, or any of the other buildings on you land! Merry Christmas!
