I am a super fan of 2hollis. I have been recommending his music on the Music of China platform and at parties all the time. I have been planning to invite him to my country. He is very good at electronic rap, which is understandable. But unfortunately, the vocal effect in the music can not be shown in live performances, which is a pity.
I feel like its better off with him using his natural voice. He has a good energy with the crowd which is unusual as most new performers come off as very awkward. Same with the vocal effects during a live performance, his voice isn't the best but his energy with the crowd makes up for it. I think it makes the performance more natural and less clunky sounding.
Depends what you mean, as far as the vocal stutters and chops, yeah you can’t really do that real time. But the effects he uses can be altered during a show using different presets and a mixer board. So he has the opportunity to do a lot of cool shit w the vocals but I’m sure that will be clearer when he’s performing for a larger scale
