Fussy cutting is fun. It reminds me of cutting out paper dolls as a child. Love your pages and the cutout.

I love to fussycat. So many of my pieces of ephema I have gleaned from magazines and catalogs and flyers in the mail wherever I can find them. I'm on a tight budget so I don't do very much digitals it's not that they're expensive but the ink to print them is. And I also love the originality of finding my own pieces. As always I love junk Journal July and junk Journal January. It just seems to spark my creativity and give me that boost I need. Thank you so very much for doing this for all of us

Hi Meg, this is the first time I’ve done one of these, massive learning curve. First rookie mistake was just taking a screen shot of a playlist. I don’t know which year I’ve started on, but it isn’t this years 😂😂😂

I love fussy cutting! I have lots that are already done, as I just did every page of a flower book!
I'll use one of those in my journal. I like how your page turned out!

I know the cut outs took time but they look amazing. What a great idea to use stencils for. I'd never have thought of that and it really gives some impact on the page. Beautiful as always Meg x

I can't say fussy cutting is a favorite activity... but it CAN be relaxing and I do it quite a bit. Need to sharpen my scissors tho 😲

I am actually up to date with this challenge. I did some of them earlier and just did 8 Wallpaper today. I don’t have any wallpaper so I used some fabric paper that I just learned how to make in place of the wallpaper.
I am fine with the fussy cutting. It can be relaxing. Thank you for the challenge and the videos.

Oh and by the way I really love your two pages. I also enjoy using my craft knife to cut out areas not only in my fussy cut but now you've given me another idea by using stencils. That was ingenious and I'm going to give it a try as I have nothing but time on my hands

Absolutely beautiful! Love what you did to the tissue paper wrapping. Looks so cool! I cut out some kind of soldier on a horse with a bunch of flowers and some castle type thing. Very odd but I like how it came together.

I think this is my favorite of your pages so far Meg. Beautiful color! Where I live it's black and white and gray for 6 plus months so color appeals to me more than plain neutrals. I do like neutral but I always need some bit of color.

Yay! Let’s go for volume 1,2,3, and 4! I love this page. I’m trying to catch up. I got help from a few people with posting and taking photos. I am totally loving the junkjournaljuly challenge. It came right when I needed it and was ready. I have some Edith Holden books. I’m trying to find time to do some fussy cutting. I’m organizing as I do each prompt. I get such great ideas from you all. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

i do like fussy cutting but for whatever reason, today i only did the tiniest amount for the challenge. The junk journal police didn't show up at my door either! 😜 I love your spread! and I am always keeping my eye out at the thrift shop for a book like that! Wouldn't I be so lucky?

I do like fussy cutting and seeing the result, especially with floral images. Not too sure about using a stencil the way you did, even though it looks good. Might be ok for a special, small project, though. TFS! 🌺
