Binge watching your videos. You are my new favorite! Love that you share the complete process and that you share your writing with us. Thanks for sharing your gifts. Love the opening videos as well.
Love this journal so far. These first pages are so soft and feel just right for the current season you are in. I recently bought an ols issue of Victoria magazine and found images on every page to use in my junk journals. Thanks for the inspiration.
I've been reading Victoria magazine for years, it is a really beautiful magazine and I am a tea lover so I always enjoy their tea editions.GREAT tip to degloss magazine pages,I look forward to trying this and being able to incorporate them into my journals.TFS and I too live in Illinois;)
Thanks for sharing this great tip. I’m new to paper crafting so any easy ideas and tips are appreciated. I’m also in Illinois and I can’t wait for spring.
Hiya there. Sincerely enjoyed your journaling. I was touched by your winter’s page butterfly. There .. on a wing and a thread.. metamorphosis … the promised spring Thank you for sharing the prose of beautifully distressed imagery Regards Yarra Valley Australia 🙃🦘❤️🌸
So pretty! I love Victoria. I have been a subscriber for years. I have one of their Christmas editions on my coffee table right now dated 2000. It is so hard to part with them. I have snipped magazine floral pictures before, but really didn’t care to have the glossed image in my book, so your hint is really helpful. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Martha. I think I called it Victorian magazine and you calling it by the right name made me remember that! It’s an absolutely beautiful magazine! 😍
Thank you! No, they did not wrinkle at all. With the first one, I crumpled it in my hands, but with the cottage winter scene, I left it flat and it stayed flat. 😊
Thank you for a really lovely video, it really lifted my spirit. I’m curious whether once your images were dry, was there evidence of paint brush marks? Thank you!
@@GinaMakesIt Oh gosh, maybe it wasn't you. I watched a video about how to make a little stationary kit. There was a file for the pages, etc. Thanks anyway.

Thank you, Lisa!
I just love this journal, Gina! I like how pages can slip in and out and be moved to a different place. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Gloria! There’s a lot of freedom with an open spine. 😊

Thank you, Yvon! 😊
Beautiful ❤️ I’ve heard of that magazine, I’m going to have to look for it. Awesome tip to dull down shiny pictures, I’m definitely going to try it.
If you have a JoAnn’s or a Barnes and Noble near you, check there as I’ve seen them there or I think you can get a subscription online. 😊
Love these pages. So relaxing watching you. 💜
Thank you, Lisa! 😊

Thank you, Jennifer! 😊
I’ve wondered if anything would remove the gloss…this is so timely!
It definitely takes the gloss off and gives a muted feel. 😊
I enjoy your videos soooo much!!!
Thank you, Pelu!!! ☺️☺️☺️
Inspiring as always!
Thanks, Jan. ☺️
I love watching you work in this journal Gina. Did the magazine pages wrinkle at all when you applied the gel medium to them? Just wondering.
Thank you! No, they did not wrinkle at all. With the first one, I crumpled it in my hands, but with the cottage winter scene, I left it flat and it stayed flat. 😊

You’re welcome! Not really upon glancing, but if you look very close, there are faint brush marks!
@@GinaMakesIt thank you 🙏

Hi! I know this video is a couple of years old, but I can't find your stationary kit.
Which kit were you looking for?
@@GinaMakesIt Oh gosh, maybe it wasn't you. I watched a video about how to make a little stationary kit. There was a file for the pages, etc. Thanks anyway.
