The sale will be at the end of Fawn Run in Oviedo Florida just follow the sale signs they will take you right to the sale. The gate will open at 9am and the sale will end at 3pm!

I'm a huge Spidey fan, but painted Vampirella magazines art is superior. Let her collect what she wants. & those signed Vampirella pulp style magazines are gems. Would definitely go for those 1st. Awesome video, guyz.
Especially considering that Ron Goulart passed away about 2 years ago. Those Vampirella signed copies are rare !

Overpriced
Anyone else think a lot of those prices are ridiculous? I was at a show here in Atlanta this weekend and I saw a lot of those books in condition just as good or better for way less than what they are listed for here. Like the Wonder Woman #199. I came across multiple raw copies at 9+. All were priced between $40 and $60.
Yeah, those prices were outrageous. Even with 30% off the sticker, the prices were way too high. $800 for Tomb of Dracula #1 is crazy.
Even if you say you're not a collector, you're really a collector if you have a storage unit and price everything higher than anyone wants to pay 🤣
it's pretty relaxing to watch those videos. I have no clue of comic colections but it's fun to watch the care and love people have over all those books.

The indexes were a great resource for us in the pre-internet days, very well researched and printed with great painted covers.
B/W magazines are neglected by so many comics fans, yet they're missing out on exceptional art and story. And with some of Marvel's titles only running to half a dozen issues, it's quite easy to get entire series.
The cover for Wonder Woman #199 is by Jeff Jones, he also did the cover for #200; an absolute favourite artist of mine who did too little mainstream comics work, Jones was a popular fantasy paperback cover artist in the 1970s. I just love his art.

I would be scared to death mine would some how be stolen! Someone broke in my home once and stoled my comics! I had go out and restart the old collection and some comics never found again! I agree the video looks like loads of fun!
I was burglarized in the eighties. They got 15 long boxes. When Hurricane Katrina hit, I lost everything. I started collecting again at the end of 2019. The sun also rises. 🔥💙🔥

I don't collect many mags, but when I do I only get Frank Frazetta covers. I picked up a Creepy #4. I'm still on the look out for Eerie #23; great Frazetta cover.
Just got my prints I ordered from Frazetta Girls and The Egyptian Queen, ( Eerie 23 ) was one of them! It's a Great painting, as are all of his paintings and artwork!

Those red spawn hardcovers were special editions made by Todd McFarlane and only handed out to family and employees of his. I can only find the red and blue one, but there are 6 editions of them out there.
If I run across any Vampirellas in my magazine box when I go through stock again I'll drop a note. 😊

Great video. Your enthusiasm is contagious and refreshing. You guys make a great pair. I would be frozen in indecision at that sale. Analysis Paralysis. Too much amazing stuff! I was stressing out over your choices with you. I am sorely lacking in mags in my collection. I would love to read every single one of those Eerie, Creepy and Vampirellas. They are just so expensive and where do you start! It's like 2000AD or EC Comics, there's just so much mind-boggling material. My reading list gets longer every day. I'm quite curious what those Vampirella paperback books are even about? I will have to look them up now. Also, I just bought that Marvel Spotlight #12 - 1st Son Of Satan! He's my Vampirella. Cheers.

always buy hi grade books first , they're harder to find , and you may never see that high grade again !
Vampirella books are getting expensive so grab them now.
If you are serious in collecting any run and do not have deep pockets do not listen to Angelo. Have the run , then like Tom said upgrade when you can otherwise you tack on many years trying to collect a mint run vs just having the whole run. I find it cooler to say " I have the set" vs oh yeah I have a handful but they are all 9.2. To each their own but I was yelling at the screen when he was saying " get the nice ones ". If you are choosing between books that should be your answer right there. Love the content but had to say.
I can't for the life of me, fathom that you two have been that deep into the hobby and you're just now using CLZ?! Greatest app ever. My wife and I came back to the hobby in 2017 after 20+ years away and we never would have made it without CLZ.

Prices were stupid, I wouldn't have bought anything.
I know why Sarah want those books so badly, Sarah is buying for nostalgia, she's like an antique collector while Angelo wants to buy for value, Angelo's more of a flipper/businessman! Anyway, if I were Angelo, I'd cut the Amazing Spider-man pile in half and buy Sara more Vampirella. Why? For good husband points!!!!
