Today, I unbox and setup the Sofabaton X1 Universal smart remote that allows you to control devices that can be hidden in another room or closet. The setup was fairly straight forward, and honestly has a lot of customization, so there are a lot of devices that you can control with this. In this setup, I connected it to my Denon receiver using the Hub with IR blaster, and with my Apple TV using Bluetooth. Both work perfectly. After this video was shot, I also was able to connect to my XJIMI Projector using Bluetooth as well, so now all three devices are setup with the X1. Enjoy the setup, I will have my full review soon after I have some time with the remote.

Hi, does support the remote Phillips Hue? I‘ve got an old Harmony wiche not support Hue sences and this would be a gamechanger in my room :D

Does it matter which cord goes to the hub and which to the remote since both fit? Also do you have to keep removing the charging block from powering the hub in order to plug the block with the other cord to charge the remote? Thanks
If my equipment is not listed, can this learn IR commands from an actual remote? Is there a option in the app?
have you been able to mimic the Apple Tv app switcher and swipe gesture to close apps with this remote? i am thinking of getting this but if it can’t do that function it’s not worth it for me
I really like my Harmony Hub remote but unfortunately it won't control my new Sony TV properly, even though it's listed as supported. My advice, if you want to keep using the Harmony, make sure any new device you buy is IR controlled. Newer devices tend not to be IR controlled, and Harmony remotes are no longer sold and even though Logitech still supports them, that support is getting weaker. They also are very slow or negligent when it comes to adding new devices. So I'm stuck trying to get the Sofabaton X1 working. It's a steep learning curve, support is via email only, and the setup and operation are poorly documented. I did find a User Manual in PDF format on the web, so I've downloaded that and hopefully it will be a help.

I have one and am unimpressed, at least compared to the comparable Harmony.
Harmony is dead. Logitech dumped ANOTHER legacy product that used software etc. Their security cameras were first years ago. Harmony isn't an option any longer.

Way way too expensive on amazon in UK its £206 I used to have a Logitech Harmony which was quite expensive at the time, but worked well for many years until it didnt. Due too Logitek abandoning support of the product. But i like the X1..Universal remotes have plumeted in price over the years, i can't justify paying this amount.

Sucks, its expensive as hell and has a limited amount of buttons. No number pad to use to watch regular TV where you punch in Chanel numbers directly and no input select, menu, options,sound mode,disply or info buttons
