Nice job buddy. We’ve done a few city multis I just picked up a maintenance tool I’m on borrowed time before I need the tool better get good with it now
Thank you for this great video. I noticed you had the red and white leads reversed at first. Does reversing polarity cause damage or just doesn’t communicate?
Could do you please help us with a video with targets. Or what data can we put attention with the maintenance tool. I will really appreciate your help.
You can get it from the Mitsubishi website called MyLinkDrive the link is below. mylinkdrive.com/USA/Software/Troubleshooting_and_Service/Maintenance_Tools/MTools_v543?product
I noticed you had the gator clip leads reversed at the beginning of the video then you cut and flipped them. Does having reverse polarity on m1 m2 cause damage or will the control just not communicate?
Reversing polarity will not damage anything but you may have communication issues with the older M-net Maintenance tool. The newer tool is not polarity sensitive.
You definitely helped me out, good timing too!
Thanks that makes it worth my time posting it. I am glad I could help!

Reversing polarity does not cause damage the new m-net tool is not polarity sensitive and it does not matter which side you put it on.
Thanks for the information 😊😊😊
No problem 😀
Thanks for the video.
My pleasure thanks for taking the time to comment.

Does my laptop need to be connected to the internet to use this tool?
No it does not.
Does this converter work with M & P series residential equipment?
If there are multiple heads and a m-net you can but you are really limited to the data that you can see. It is really for the Mulit-City VRF units.
It doesn’t work for M&P series
I have a leak in system
Did you ever find your leak?
